Won’t be ordering!
Just wanted to let you know that I was considering ordering a cover for my stocksund until I read the reviews here. On their website, it says they’ll refund you if you don’t like your cover “no questions asked” BUT those who weren’t happy with their cover here didn’t get a refund. Instead they were told they “changed their mind” (so what?) or they made a mistake.
Thanks to the people who took the time to warn future customers, I won’t place an order and I would strongly advise you contact your bank if CW refuses to refund you.
Comfort works.. you should take your customers’ satisfaction more seriously..

Not a great fit, without clear instructions
Even though this cover is for a standard Ikea model, the fit wasn't great and there were some saggy parts. It was lacking clear instructions, and we weren't sure whether we needed to unmount the armchair or not. First we unmounted, but then realized that the cover was actually going around the wooden parts, so we mounted it back. However, this time it wasn't fitting easily, so we had to unmount it partially (leaving the screws still on).
The velcro attachments were mostly easy to understand, but at the last step, the back piece of the cover had a velcro which wasn't being attached to anywhere. In the end we just had to squeeze it between the two cushion pieces and tighten the screws (so the velcro didn't serve any purpose).
I expect a better experience & fit for a product which isn't cheap at all.

The material is strong and fits perfectly
The material is strong and canvass-like. Very happy with it! Well made and fits perfectly! As good as from Crate and Barrel or better!
Gorgeous fabric and craftsmanship
I ordered a cover for my 8 year old PB ottoman. The fabric was beautiful and it was so well made. Unfortunately it did not fit quite right. Melissa and her crew were incredibly helpful by having me send new measurements and photos. They made a brand new cover and sent it to me because they wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Stellar customer service! New cover is stunning and I am a very happy customer…I highly recommend this company!
Exceptional! Highly recommended
I received the cover within 2 weeks, it fits perfectly and the quality is exceptional, much better than the original cover. Highly recommended!
Transformed My Chair – Stunning Fit and Quality
I recently ordered a custom slipcover from Comfort Works for a uniquely shaped accent chair that wasn’t part of their standard offerings. The design was quite complex, with non-removable back cushions and a dark, patterned fabric that I was concerned might show through a lighter slipcover. From the start, Comfort Works impressed me. The free fabric samples were generously sized, which made it easy to choose the right one - thankfully, as I ended up going with a fabric I hadn’t initially considered! I also took advantage of a great Earth Day sale, and I appreciated that their pricing was all-inclusive (shipping, taxes, and duties). The process required a detailed set of measurements (over 25 in total, and even more for the cushions). There was a lot of communication, including photos and specific instructions, to ensure everything would be a perfect fit. While the back-and-forth during the pattern-making stage was more extensive than I anticipated (time zones added to the delay), their team was thorough and attentive. At one point, they recommended a zipper I hadn’t expected, but I trusted their expertise. When the slipcover shipped, there was a brief issue with customs asking for duties despite Comfort Works’ “no surprises” policy. I reached out, and their team resolved it quickly - the package arrived just days later. I was nervous to try the cover on, especially since I’d requested a snug fit with piping. But I needn’t have worried - it fit like a glove. The craftsmanship was flawless: piping perfectly aligned, no gaps, the zipper hidden so well you’d never notice it, and there was enough fabric to cover the back cushion without looking sloppy. Honestly, I’m blown away. It feels like I have a brand new chair. If you’re willing to invest the time in careful measuring (and possibly re-measuring), the result is absolutely worth it. You won’t get this kind of tailored quality from generic covers on Amazon or Wayfair. Highly recommend!

Excellent value and customer service
I ordered my second custom sofa cover and they had all my old measurements saved, saving me tons of time! Not only that but the customer service was top notch! They sent me links for updated fabric choices, gave me plenty of of time and space to make a decision, and when I was ready to order I got a 20% off return customer discount! I’ll be ordering from them again!
Highly recommend
Highly recommend! I now have a total of three sofa covers from Comfort Works for three different couches and even after two-three years of use, they fit well, stay on, do a great job protecting the couches themselves, and are comfortable and durable--even in the face of three cats, one dog, and young kids.
I most recently purchased a custom cover for Room and Board's Berin sleeper sofa. Michelle was extremely helpful (and patient) with making sure I provided accurate measurements and walking me through the process.
Fabric quality is poor
I initially loved my sofa covers, purchased in November 2023. 19 months later I have found that there are so many bobbles, pulls and signs of wear that I’m planning on replacing them. I did contact Comfort Works in September 2024, sending pictures and any other details that they requested. This was within the warranty period but no warranty cover was mentioned. They sent me some tips for getting rid of snags and pulls, most of which I’d already tried. The issues were present on places where the cushions don’t come into much contact with anyone sitting on the sofa - the tops of the back cushions, around the zips. I’ve followed all care instructions when cleaning the covers.
I went for the textured weave which I thought would be fine based on the details online - perfect for kids, dogs and parties is what is said on their website. The reality is that less than 2 years later the covers need replacing.

BEWARE: Satisfaction Policy is Not True!
I ordered a slipcover for my couch after ordering two rounds of samples and consulting the return policy to make sure everything would be ok if there was an issue. I chose the color "Stone," which was listed as a gray color when toggled over. I received the order a month later. Upon opening the box I saw the slipcover was actually a green color, not stone or gray as I had ordered. I immediately emailed the company to inquire about a return, and based on their "Satisfaction Policy" this shouldn't have been an issue. I don't want a green couch; I want a gray couch. Luckily I saved the fabric swatch I ordered and sent the representative pictures of the difference between the swatch and the cover. She got back to me and said the "texture looks quite a bit different." She asked me to send an additional picture of the swatch I had. I did. Then she asked me to send another photo and commented that the spill-proof coating they added might change the look depending on the angle. I asked why the swatches weren't coated with the same chemical to make sure you can see what you're getting and she said they are. I'm still wondering why she'd mention that detail if they're both coated the same way. Then she asked for more photos. Back and forth we went, with me sending close ups of the fabric to show the variation in the product. At the end of the day, she told me she'd determined that I "changed my mind," and the only thing she could do for me would be to have me pay MORE MONEY to order another slipcover. Why would I fork out hundreds more when I'm showing that the fabric in the swatch and the fabric on the slipcover they sent varies both in color and texture?! I again mentioned the cover is green and I ordered a gray color called "stone." She told me the color has since been discontinued, interesting. And she again stated she'd be happy to sell me an entirely new cover. How is this "making it right?" I don't want this slipcover. I want to send it back and at least get some money back, but apparently the only option is to pay them more money to make it right.

Worth every penney!!
First off, Customer Service is top notch. They are very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. My interactions felt personal. Not canned responses. The emails came from the same agent each time, making it feel like she was with me all the way through delivery. I was notified when my purchase was in production, shipped and delivered.
Second, the product itself is truly impressive. This was an expensive purchase for me and ordering online versus seeing a product in person was nerve racking. The fabric feels luxurious and color is identical to the swatch I ordered. It is so well made. All the seams are super strong and heavily stitched. It fits my sofa like a glove. My sofa is older, so the back pillows are a bit deflated so those covers have a bit of extra room. So please have realistic expectations.

I chose Comfort Works because they were more affordable than using Pottery Barn for replacement covers on our PB sectional. The covers we received are extremely well made and durable. Fabric is beautiful . The only reason I did not give 5 stars is shipping was a bit troublesome but the customer service rep Alvin was excellent . I am thrilled with the purchase.

Meticulous attention to detail
Meticulous attention to detail. I ordered sofa and chair covers in a velvety cream. The fabric and fit are of better quality than the originals, and CW are very responsive.
A very old Ektorp, now with new life
My Ektorp sectional is quite old but it still has some use, so I ordered a new slipcover. As it turned out, the first slipcover Comfortworks sent had a base section that was too small. Probably because my sectional is really old and their pattern templates are for newer models.
Anyway, their customer rep John and I worked together over email for months to replace that base portion. But after many emails and John's diligence, I got a new base slipsover free of charge, and my sectional has a new life. People comment on how nice it looks--without prompting! The care to detail and patience John gave--because it often took me weeks to reply as life got busy---made all the difference.

A small business truly worthy of your support. Outstanding customer service. They worked with me extensively to get the fit and measurements for my cushions just right. They were always quick to respond to my questions and give recommendations based on their expertise. I'm totally satisfied with the outcome.

Good Quality great service
I hardly write reviews but this time I thought ‘they deserve it’. What a great customerservice they have. Also very very happy with my Valentuna cover. The quality is great and the sewing is nicely. Very Happy with the result and my ‘new’ couch.
