Not worth it - use an actual nail or screw. I used the heavy duty strips with the associated command nail to hang picture frames on the wall. Most are fine but two fell and smashed. All prepped in th... See more

Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. In common with a lot of the other reviews on this site the 'sticky nail' failed and caused a broken picture and damage to the skirting. Do not use these are not fit for purpose
Complete waste of time and money
Complete waste of time and money. Adhesive no use, other than to pull off some paint from the wall !!
Real genuine command strips do work.!
Real genuine command strips from 3M do work! (I have bought loads over the years, and know what they look like etc, It's just everyone seems to be unwittingly buying from Amazon and Ebay or wherever and these are largely
counterfeit or "fakes" I bought a large amount from Amazon and these have no logo, came loose with a photocopied piece of cardboard.
and are quite obviously inferior the clear plastic doesn't come off and they fail on a wall and rip the paint or wallpaper off! It's criminal, a giveaway too is the cheaper prices for larger amounts. Command strips from 3M still are good in my veiw.
Very poor adhesive properties
Very poor adhesive properties.
Dreadful instructions.
Who designs this rubbish.
Not cheap, and doesn't work.
I gave up and went back to conventional methods.
Stick to nail or screw fixings.
There is more sticky in a bit of chewing gum!!
I only gave them one star as you can't write a review without one but believe me they definitely don't deserve it. Complete waste of time, there is more stick in a bit of chewing gum then on these and they're not cheap by far. Peeled the back off and the glue was so dry that it didn't even stick to my finger!!
These are NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, I'd call it theft as you are buying something that does not work!!!
Very poor product
I would give it zero stars if I could. In my first two attempts the strips failed to adhere to the wall. I finally managed to get a strip to stick but when I tried to straighten it, it lifted the emulsion paint below.
This is an expensive product (I paid £4 for 6 small hooks), and it was less than useless. The so called instructions were extremely poor. I would never buy any 3m Command product again.
only adhered to the wall for 3 days
I used this product exactly as intended, yet it only adhered to the wall for three days before falling off and smashing a £15 picture frame. When I contacted 3M to seek compensation, instead of taking responsibility they sent a generic technical explanation implying the failure was due to incorrect preparation or curing on my part. As a consumer, I shouldn’t need to follow laboratory-level procedures for a simple household product to work as advertised. Poor product, poor customer service, and a complete lack of accountability. I will not use 3M products again, and I hope others think twice before trusting them.
Terrible product
Terrible, took them off and they have left a yellow mark on the wall that I can’t get off!! Really cross
Buyer Beware!! Horrible Product!
I can't say that I'm more than upset using these 3M command strips I had my house painted six months ago decide to use the strips instead of nails after 3 months then decided to remove straps and put up a different picture and it peeled the paint right off the wall!! Now I have to RePaint 2 rooms which is very costly!! I will never buy anything from 3 M again and it pisses me off that I have to spend extra money because of their crappy merchandise 😡😡
Command Strips light clips
3M Command Strips outdoor light clips | for outdoor use, need to be made more durable with heavier material due to climate/weather changes outdoor. Clips held up a few days but have been falling off since…..need more adhesive applied.
pulled the plaster off when tried to…
pulled the plaster off when tried to remove. used them so i didn’t need to redecorate when i move, should have just used a screw would have caused less damage. .
Do not buy them
I cannot believe that I didn’t learn my lesson after the first picture fell. I bought “stronger” options and am now 3 pictures and frames worse off. Terrible terrible product. Do not buy under any circumstances.
Absolutely useless…!
Absolutely useless…ruined 2 x pictures of mine now one of which is irreplaceable. I am so angry that I fell for the hype and marketing. 3M you should be ashamed of yourselves for making and marketing such a crap product.
3M command hooks - useless
Use these every year and they are usually great. This year whatever has changed in the glue the product is completely useless. They are expensive to buy so I am extremely disappointed and won't be buying again
Christmas lights
Bought these to put up some basic Christmas lights and 11 used so far and won't even hold the weight of some basic lightweight fairy lights avoid at all costs
They do not stick
They do not stick, waste of time and money. Don't look at the amazon reviews as they're all lies. I'd recommend gorilla or no more nails, they work!
Putting up my garland and theyvwont…
Putting up my garland and theyvwont stick used them last year so something must have changed as my whole display has just fallen. Won't by again what a waste of 3 large packets
They simply don’t work
They simply don’t work
I followed the command strip instructions to the letter and they just don’t work stick to the wall, very disappointing product, would give them 0/5 if I could
We chose to use command strips instead…
We chose to use command strips instead of using nails as we had recently re-plastered the wall. We used strips that hold up to 7kg but they would not hold our 8x10 frames which weighed nothing. All frames had 3 strips each. They would not stick to the wall and even fell off. When they fell off they pulled the paint off with them when the package says damage free. Would not recommend, more hassle than it’s worth.
