Lovely quality and ethically produced
Lovely quality products from an ethical company supporting local UK economies in towns with rich and important histories in textiles such as Blackburn 👏

Great trousers
Great trousers, super fit, very nice fabric, wash well. And a real treat to buy clothes made by properly paid adults in UK factories. Win all round!

Quality socks and superb ethos!
Having read Patrick Grant’s enthralling book, “Less”, I became aware of Community Clothing.
Whilst not needing any new clothes, I had worn out a few pairs of socks walking the dog, so bought 4 pairs of CC’s thick cotton ones.
I can happily say they are the best (but certainly not most expensive) socks I’ve ever had. Comfortable and warm, great colours, and they have washed well. I’ll be back for more as my other old socks wear out!

Love community clothing!
Have bought a few things from community clothing; some jeans, a couple of sweaters, a hoodie and some socks. Everything is fantastic quality and really worth the price! Definitely somewhere I’ll keep buying from and feels great to support a UK business making clothes here. Have found I need to size up but has been easy to exchange for a larger size when I needed to.

I love the navy parka which is beautifully made especially with the striped lining inside the sleeves, reminiscent of how men’s suits were made years ago.
I love natural fibres as it means your skin can breathe.
However the cut of this is not quite right across the back of shoulders, it could do with another couple of inches and the sleeves are just that bit too short. I haven’t got long arms at all, I’m only 5ft 2ins but the sleeves could be another 1-2inches for me. So I’ve returned it and am waiting for a refund at present.
The fit is true to size in the body. So” what’s my size “ is very helpful. I love the ethos of buy less but better quality and have read Patrick’s book. I love sewing and am always tweaking items I already have to upcycle and extending longevity of clothes rather than sending to landfill. I love the white t shirt I’ve had from CC. Thank you 😀 .

Beutiful knitted items
I received the knitted scarf, hat and gloves in a red fairisle pattern for Christmas. Beautiful items and it’s great to know they were made in the UK with wool sourced in the UK. Keep up the good work!

The peace of mind that spending a little extra actually brings better materials better quality and goes into the hands of local workers and business is more than worth it. On top of that the clothes are great I have socks, trousers, t shirts jumpers and jackets all look great and are lasting well too.

I love their clothes and the brand
I love their clothes and the brand. Perfect basics so well made. I bought a jacket, T-shirt and socks when I was in the UK and wish I could get it here as I’ve been telling everyone about them. I need more socks.

A visit to see Patrick at Southport…
A visit to see Patrick at Southport flower show has changed the way me and hubs shop, his passion for Community Clothing inspired us to consider what we buy and where it comes from.
So when it was time to replace we ordered some socks, the quality is so impressive, we're both amazed at how comfortable they are.
I then treated myself to a lambswool sweater and esme shirt, both great layered up for the winter, also I've found the natural clothing fibres have really helped my journey through menopause.
Thanks to all at Community Clothing x

Bought the pullover and more
Bought the pullover, trousers and a woolly hat, plus re stocked my undies. Everything is so well made and will clearly last. I suspect that the pullover might even outlast me.
It is wonderful to have the opportunity to buy things made to high ethical standards from people who live in the next street/town/county.

Thankyou!
It seems so difficult to make a positive difference in the world today, but this inspiring company has meant I could feel proud to have done a small good thing, and bought something really special!

I love my yellow hat
I love my yellow hat. It’s kept me toasty warm in the cold spell. I love that it’s 100%wool and locally made. That makes it even more special.

Really happy with my clothes from Community Clothing
I bought two pairs of straight legged jeans from Community Clothing, one high rise and one mid rise, and a lambswool crew neck jumper, and I love all three. I've worn them so much over the last couple of years and they are lasting very well. Both pairs of jeans fit well, are comfortable and sturdy and I like the straight forward style. The jumper is so much warmer than other brands and has not bobbled and I love the shade. I bought from Community Clothing as I wanted to shop ethically, and I like the fact the clothes are made in Britain.

Exceptional Quality
I bought some white sports socks and a striped t shirt. The seams on the socks were so good and the T shirt was lovely and fitted great. Will be buying from them again. Exceptional quality.
