My experience is the usual where a company has chosen to despatch via the cheap incompetent Evri.
However it is compounded by there being no telephone contact with the company and I’m fast losing patience with where a gift which was ordered on Dec 18th actually is and where it is going . Shabby treatment from what is thought to be an ethical company .

I purchased a pack of three sport socks, which was my first purchase from Community Clothing. The online ordering process was easy and the quality of the socks was exceptional. Community Clothing's mission is commendable and it's probably the first time I've felt good about buying socks! Based on my initial experience, I will certainly be buying other garmets.

Really good quality clothing. It's worth the investment.

The up-front honesty of this company does them a great credit; they say exactly what they'll do, and deliver on that. Daft sales and unrealistic delivery promises are replaced by fair dealings and good communications.
The products so far have been excellent, with everything delivered within the promised window, but more importantly, the commitment to staff and planet cannot be faulted. Of all the companies I buy from, these leave the warmest glow.
Edit: Also, unlike some companies, they never asked for a review. I like that.

Wanted to order a jumper. Not in stock. Fair enough. Asked to be notified when back in stock. Had an email saying it was back in stock. Ordered it. Had an email straight back saying it was not in stock but would be in a few days. Waited. Had another email saying that it wouldn’t be back in stock for weeks and would i like a refund. Yes i would! What a waste of time. Wanted to buy quality british made clothing but this is a real disincentive
I recently bought a pair of high waisted jeans, great service, lovely quality and the fit is spot on. No gapping at the back and a great shape around the rear!
Ordered lots of Christmas gifts from here , absolutely lovely :)
Easy to order; kept informed of progress with my delivery daily and arrived exactly when expected; all recyclable packing...no nasty plastic bags or tags; lovely quality items (socks) that were true to size, and perfect in every way. Fab!
Seriously annoyed with this company. Sent my order back and have heard nothing since and not received my refund.
Just received my first order of waxed jacket and socks. Superb quality, really impressive. Higher price than I would normally pay but easily worth it. Immediately placed an order for my wife’s Xmas presents. And I just love the philosophy of the business. Thanks.
Seem to be good quality items in terms of fabric but the fit is peculiar.
Dimensions on the website are way off compared to the actual garment dimensions - by inches around the waist in the case of the trousers I ordered. The trouser thighs were ultra baggy but the lower legs were tight - not the look I was expecting at all.
Also note that you have to arrange returns yourself, meaning the risk of the parcel going missing (as seems to have happened to me courtesy of DPD) lies with you.
Just received my first order of an Ivory/Blue Breton Cotton Top and a Grey Lambswool Jumper. Both items are fantastic - thick natural material, good colour/dye, and perfect fit. Good quality wardrobe basics at a really good price.
I see that i'm not the first to complain about their returns service. So disappointing from this company who preach to us all from the moral high ground. Their communications are from a bot and I'm starting to feel the same anger and frustration that I feel with a Chinese cowboy outfit. SHAME ON YOU, PATRICK GRANT. If you're putting your name to this, you need to keep your eye on the customer care as well as the production.
Ordered 2 sweatshirts and was very pleased with the quality. However sizing was haphazard, to say the least, and had to return them. As other customers have mentioned, the process is lengthy, and from 21 September am still awaiting a refund of £125.
A number of emails has not yet accelerated this payment.
I was hoping to support a traditional British company but my first experience has been very disappointing
The sizes are all over the place. I bought two pairs of trousers for the same size, and everything was fine. Then I got two more pairs a while later, same size, and got trousers that are WAY smaller than the previous ones. Their own tool even recommended this size.
And this is all made worse by the horrible return process for which I will also have to PAY. Absolutely ridiculous.
Sizing is odd and let down by incredibly slow customer service and returns process.
Was a big supporter of Community Clothing when they first started back in the day.
Ordered some items recently and have found that while the quality is still good, the sizing is odd, mostly too big. Normally not an issue with online retail but with CC who have a punitive 14 day return policy and very slow customer service to approve a return, it’s a hassle. The refund process is even slower.
Great British manufacturing let down by poor British customer service.
My first order of jeans and a t shirt, not only is all the packaging environmentally conscious but I can reuse it all, now the jeans, well the fit is perfect love the style and the quality of the materials used and how they look on me and the t shirt great quality not a bit see through lovely fit , will be ordering more just the right length
Jacket arrived promptly, that’s the good news. Now the bad. Popper on jacket (edit..second popper is missing now!) either had fallen off prior to delivery or first time I used it - whatever it’s gone! Sizing is also an issue, I take size L, this jacket is a bit too tight. Finally, finding it very hard to log on to return jacket. All in all, not a good experience, sorry.
Update: company got back to me straightaway, they are sending me a replacement coat. I was impressed with customer care, I’m glad because I wanted to buy from British company and support their ethical values.
I received my pair of corduroy trousers today and I am delighted. The fabric and workmanship are great and they are the perfect pair of autumn trousers. I have several items from Community Clothing and all have been of the best quality.
I treated myself to a peacoat and a pair of chore trousers for my birthday. They just arrived and fit perfectly. The quality is superb. I think these are the best items of clothing I've ever owned and I can tell they are made to last. Wonderful company doing great things.
