Read some bad reviews here so was sceptical, but it was such good value (£10 compared to the next best £70) and not for anything particularly important I thought I'd give it a try. Application was eas... See more

They sell some awful ssl products from…

They sell some awful ssl products from sister company certigo who offer absolutely the worst customer service I have encountered. Comodostore claim they are powerless to help. If you are a UK customer these Certigo guys try to validate with US tools and no understanding of the UK market and end up creating massive inconvenience, not responding to queries and taking an age to validate your SSL even when all criteria are met. And this is for a Uk Ltd company incorporated almost 100 years ago!

Didn't receive product, still no refund

Don't expect much from their customer service - even when you have been given supposed proof of delivery when the item has not been delivered, they will still refuse to refund you any money.
Avoid this company altogether. Go for a more reputable company with better customer service and better business practices.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. After 2 months I am still without my certificate. I have asked for a refund. I am a software developer, I had just tried to renew a coding certificate for another 3 years. This kind of company should not even exist. They only make you lose time for nothing.

Just don't do it.

This company is pretending to be comodo with their branding, but they are in-fact just resellers (rapid web services). The have stores pretending to be comodo, certigo and various others.

The service is next to worthless and support is non-existent. I would say its bordering on a scam.

I ordered a certificate by following…

I ordered a certificate by following their procedure of providing them a CSR containing the information that I expect to see in the final certificate. They issued a certificate without including the correct informations included in the CSR. The certificate is useless and I wasted my time and money. Their support did not reply to my refund request.

I wish I’d bought my certificate elsewhere

I tried to buy a Comodo OV certificate from them but ended up being passed to a company I’ve never heard of called Sectigo. It’s really difficult to find out why my application isn’t progressing because there are three different status tracking pages which say different things, and when I contact support directly they give me contradictory information. A bank statement I uploaded as proof of address showed as rejected on the website but customer service agent told me via chat that it was accepted. Their guidance says the official online government register can be used as proof of address and phone number but they are ignoring it. A horrible customer experience all round.

The high rating here must be fake

The high rating here must be fake, votes paid for by comodo themselves. Any other name/entity they are registered under, have poor reviews. I have for almost a month unsuccessfully tried to renew our certificate, and don't receive any feedback or useful help from them. It is impossible to figure out why the process is not progressing, the status from their website is useless. The only hope/way to progress, is to keep calling their support.

I purchased an EV Code Signing…

I purchased an EV Code Signing Certificate from this mob. Or rather tried to.

There was an issue with the registered name as I had used a Business Name and they wanted a Company Name.

Bottom line, after nearly 4 weeks of very poor customer support and back and forth with lengthy delays in the middle, I decided to create a company and use that, and told them that is what I would do.
Without my authority they issued an EV Certificate "in my Personal name" !! Ludicrous.

I won't bother relaying the conversations subsequently and prior but suffice to say they are really just do not get it. And I do not say that lightly.

I originally thought based on the website that ComodoSSLstore was actually Comodo given the way they promote themselves.
However they are just a reseller with a very poor support structure answered by the usual Indians who on my experience don't care and certainly don't understand and cannot grasp much at all.

They just communicate with Sectigo and so any real resolution is unlikely.
I was just told to create a ticket with Sectigo, who in themselves do not respond to the tickets. Not one of mine were responded to (all polite). Not one.

I cannot believe all these 5 star ratings are genuine. No way.

Bottom line, if you want anything detailed and not just a simple straight forward SSL purchase perhaps, steer well clear of this mob / ComodoSSLstore.

Practices misleading advertising

ComodoSSLstore practices misleading advertising which I believe is illegal. They use Google Adwords to promote cheap SSL certificates on their website but when you go to the checkout, the price gets quietly increased by 32%.
I reached out to their support which wasn't helpful at all. They only presented me with excuses but actively refuse to address the false advertising issue. Haven't even got an apology.
