Amazing once again. I used companiions again to help me get from Hospital after a hip surgery to my hotel and they saved me again!!! Matenin was helpful, positive, smiling ( just what need after surgery) and couldn’t do enough. Went and did some errands for me to get me ready for 3-4 days laid up in Hotel. It was easy to book and change the time and message back and forth to ensure timing ans location was correct. Once again!!! THANK YOU COMPANIIONS.

I am the Managing Director of an advertising business and we recently took on the services of Companiions as a means to better support our staff to find a healthy work/life balance and enable them to invest the time in actively coming into the office when it is most relevant and effective in helping them do their jobs. I can not speak highly enough of the service received by the Companiions team and having personally used their service to being in my companiion Elvis (to help my partner with household tasks whilst she cares for our newborn baby and I am working a full week in the office) I have been really impressed by the service and quality of recruitment. Can’t recommend enough for both personal or corporate support, it has made a huge difference to the workforce and their view on how our business supports their work/life needs.

Great app always helpful . I would advise when searching for companions is to have post code areas on each profile. Honestly great app and great help. 10 out of 10🙂

Absolutely love the app! I think the idea behind it is brilliant as it enables real people to connect with one another for assistance and/or companionship and it certainly came in handy when i needed to find the right care for my grandmother. Customer support were very friendly, responsive, patient and transparent when i needed help getting acquainted with the app. I highly recommend to anyone that is seeking on-demand care/companionship for themselves or a loved one, please try Companiions!

Customer service was great. They answered all of my questions about the potential visit and the client. And was transparent and informative about the role and company. I was able to continue on with this without any fuss. Very patient and understanding. Definitely a great way to earn some money on the side.

Great app concept - really enjoy being a companion and being apart of a company making a change. The app was a bit glitchy from the start, but the customer service team were helpful and helped to sort all of it out so quickly and have been great with communication. I highly recommend using the companiions app.

Unfortunately I have found this company disappointing! I signed up with then in Feb and haven't had one enquiry!
They don't answer queries often and when they do they never follow them up! I have asked to have my details taken off this site but no response!
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone because if they treat their companions like this how do they treat their clients???

Aisha couldn't have been more helpful when I was trying to find someone to come in and support my Mum with housework, cooking and companionship while she was going through chemotherapy. After I had set up a profile on the app, she contacted me to talk through my needs and she recommended someone immediately who was absolutely perfect. She then helped to set up all of the visits on the app. When our companion was away on holiday, Aisha managed to track down another person to come and help, and stayed in touch to keep me updated during her search for another companion. I couldn't be more pleased with this service - it's been an absolute godsend for me and my Mum. Thank you.

We are so delighted with the service and functionality of Companiions. Through the app we have been able so far to find four different companions to support my elderly parents within their local area. From trips to the local shops, helping with gardening and housework and even getting well needed exercise through walks to the park, the companions we’ve found through the app have made a huge difference to the quality of my parent lives. The Companiion helpdesk team have also provided excellent and timely support. Yes the app has a few bugs, but a simple restart seems to do the trick. Thoroughly recommended.

Installed the app, added my phone number and name, but it doesn't ever send the "Verify your email address" email so I couldn't complete the registry. Reviews on Apple and Google indicate this has been a problem for years, that it only really has users in London if you can somehow sign up... but after leaving my number, I've now had 4 automated scam calls in the last 5 hours claiming I've an arrest warrant out for unpaid debts. Whether they're selling your data on because the app failed, or it's just an unfortunate coincidence I can't say, but I don't have any interest in continuing with giving them my personal ID next. Avoid.

After a year of waiting for a care package for my husband and a sitter for myself (still without both due to supposed staff shortages) I turned to Companiions. I hadn’t been able to leave the house for two years. I found the perfect person from them to come and sit with my husband so I was able to get out for a few hours. It also gave him some more social contact. We have used the resource a number of times now and it has changed our lives after a very difficult few years. This companiion has now become a good friend to both of us and I trust that my husband is in the best hands so that I can take some respite. I would highly recommend using them. They have given us both peace of mind.

Jon collected me for a Clinic appointment, punctual and very helpful and attentive to my mobility problems. Had lovely chat and felt very comfortable, waited with me and returned home. Will definitely be using Companiions again soon.

I've tried so hard to join this company I would love it a proper people person,BUT for months did my profile photo etc but keep coming up to finish profile when I go into it it's all done.On numerous occasions I've asked for help to see if I've done anything wrong but nothing from them at all very disappointing

I think it is disgraceful . we should look after our elderly for free .. this company as many other is taking advantage of the elderly . money should not be every thing...as some can not afford it ,, it does not mean they are worth nothing ....
this company should be ashamed!!!!!

I think this app is so great, it is such a good idea and I’ve really enjoyed being apart of it. I have met some lovely people and I am excited to continue too!

Using Companiions was an incredible experience start to finish. The carer assigned to my grandmothers care (jon) was lovely and she can not stop raving about him. I plan to book on a weekly basis so she has consistent, safe, and convenient company. This is such a large weight off of my mind as I can’t get to her every weekend.

I’m a new user to the app but this has really helped provide extra support to my father who lives 3 hours away. We have had 3 great visits so far and he’s really enjoying the additional company and support he has recently received from companiions
