I currently live 2 hours away from my mum who often finds it difficult to find the time to socialise and feels quite lonely. I saw an advert for Companiions so thought I'd try it out.
I organised a visit from a companion close to where she lived, which I felt a little nervous about, but I got to chat to a few companions via the app and get to know them before I booked the visit.
The companion I chose lived 1 mile away and was very punctual, polite and helpful. They checked in as soon as they arrived and also videocalled me whilst they were with my mum. She really enjoyed the visit and loved the company (and extra help around the house). Because of this I'll definitely be using them again and my mum is looking forward to her companions next visit!

Highly recommend, great concept!
I've been using companiions for over a month now and it is such a great app! Got to meet some lovely people, give a helping hand and earn some extra money. Great concept, especially after the year we've all had as a society!
