Inconvenient and intrusive calls after abandoned booking

I recently entered my details on this website while looking into booking parking at Gatwick Airport. However, I realised I no longer needed the booking and abandoned the process before reaching or completing the payment stage. I had only entered my name, phone number and email address.
Since then, I have received repeated calls from Gatwick Airport Parking encouraging me to complete the booking, even after I answered and clearly explained that I was no longer interested.
I find this very inconvenient and intrusive, especially as I did not complete a booking or make any payment.
I did not authorise the site to use my number for calls at any point. I will never use this website again.

A REAL TRAVEL NIGHTMARE

I recently used the ‘Compare Airport Parking Deals’ website to book a Meet and Greet parking at Heathrow Airport (Terminal 5) for the Easter holidays with my family. The service provider was (ironically!) called ‘Quality Parking Heathrow’.

Unfortunately, I did not check either of them out here on Trustpilot first – if I had, I would have read several other horror stories, eg. about them breaking someone’s dashcam; illegally using cars and getting speeding fines while other customers were away on holiday, and keeping other customers waiting for 40 minutes+ to pick up their vehicle and two hours to return it. And so much more. In my case, fortunately perhaps, we didn’t even get that far.

When my partner called up as instructed half an hour before arriving at Heathrow, she was treated very rudely on the phone by a man who asked her if we could drop the car off at different terminal. Given that we had specifically paid for ‘meet and greet’ for Terminal 5, she said no.

At this point, the man on the phone got very annoyed and said that in that case, he wouldn’t come and pick up the car - unless we wanted to pay again, for a SECOND time, over the phone to him? He claimed that the ‘Compare Airport Parking Deals’ website has not been paying his company lately, so he had (he claimed) not received payment for our booking, and therefore couldn’t possibly be expected to come and pick up our car. Unbelievable!

Obviously, this is a nightmare scenario when you are just about to fly abroad for a family holiday. We told him that we had two young children in the back of the car and asked him what we were supposed to do. He told us to pull over onto the hard shoulder (we were on the motorway!) and look for the contact details of this comparison website, 'Compare Airport Parking Deals', call them, tell them to pay him, and THEN he would come and pick up our vehicle.

He became quite aggressive and confrontational at this point, so my partner hung up the phone - a bit scared - and hurriedly booked another car park through Just Park, which unfortunately proved to be too far away (we were all in a panic by this stage). I dropped her off with our toddler and 8-year-old at Terminal 5 and went to park the car.
I missed my flight.

Fortunately, British Airways were absolutely brilliant about it, quite sympathetic, and helped me to rebook a flight for the following day, so that I could still go out and join my family for our holiday, even if we got off to a belated (and extremely stressful) start.

Basically, it was A REAL TRAVEL NIGHTMARE that ended up unnecessarily costing us A LOT of money.

‘Quality Parking Heathrow’ were not available for comment. Their website is apparently down for “maintenance”. The ‘Compare Airport Parking Deals’ website did respond to our email of complaint, but completely washed their hands of all responsibility, saying “our role is exclusively that of a comparison website”. They seemed totally uninterested.

I would say, save yourselves the potentially horrifying stress of finding yourself in a similar situation, and do not book through ‘Compare Airport Parking Deals’, since they clearly do not do their due diligence about the service providers they list on their website, and do not appear to care that they are facilitating what appears to be a company of scammers and criminals. Given the number of people who seem to be having similar experiences on this comparison website, I would be very surprised if it were a coincidence.

And above all, please, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES use ‘QUALITY PARKING HEATHROW’ (aka ‘Quality Parking’) to book airport parking. Anything could happen. Don’t risk it - pay more to book through a reputable company, and stay safe.

Still waiting at the airport for our car and hour later. The site seems legit and when I did a quick search on trust pilot, it seemed ok but was actually a different "compare airport parking deals" wondering if I should call the police to report the car stolen. Heard nothing from the number given and they don't pick up my calls.

‼️AVOID PLEASE, AVOID PLEASE‼️

We booked airport parking on 27 February through COMPARE PARKING DEALS, with the service operated by SUPER PARKING Ltd. Based on our experience, people considering Heathrow airport parking or meet-and-greet services should be aware of what happened.

On the day of departure we were told a driver’s car had broken down, causing delays. The situation worsened when their driver transferred us by car to the wrong terminal at Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 instead of Terminal 5. We had to rush across the airport with luggage and nearly missed our flight. No apology was offered.
Our return journey was extremely stressful. While we were in Dubai, the Iran–Israel conflict escalation 2026 disrupted flights across the region. After finally getting off an 8-hour flight from Dubai to Munich, we called the parking service the day before our return to inform them we would arrive one day later. We were told this had been noted and would not be a problem.
However, after landing at Heathrow on 6 March, when we called at 09:05 to arrange collection, a guy called ALI became agitated and confrontational, blamed us for the flight disruption, said he had “many customers,” and then hung up.
When we finally received our car back, we noticed several serious issues:

• Interior dirty with mud and debris
• Pound coins missing, paperwork and other items moved or thrown around
• Around 100 extra miles on the vehicle
• Fuel level significantly lower
• Strong smell of smoke and ash traces inside the car
• Steering alignment now feels incorrect, suggesting the vehicle may have been driven roughly or hit a curb
The condition of the vehicle strongly suggests it may have been used extensively while in their custody, beyond normal parking movements.
Because of these concerns, we have reported the matter to the police.
This review reflects our genuine experience.
Although COMPARE PARKING DEALS often states it is only a third-party agent, customers book and pay through their platform, so both COMPARE PARKING DEALS and SUPER PARKING Ltd should be accountable.
If you are considering Heathrow meet-and-greet parking or booking through COMPARE PARKING DEALS, we strongly recommend researching alternatives parking deals.

Scam company . Do not trust

1. It is not cost saving, you pay 16£ on top of the advetised fees as u pay for parking when u enter the car park and when u leave
2 it takes them more than an hour to get the car back to you when u land. You may as well park safely in long term car park and take a bus.
3. Its a scam company not trust worthy. Please use maple or some know company, These are charlatans.

Avoid

Avoid. Unauthorised use of my vehicle.
While I was on holiday, my car was used by the valet parking company without my consent to transport their own clients at Gatwick. This resulted in a parking charge being issued to me, despite the vehicle being in their custody at the time. Highly unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour. I would not recommend using this company.

SCAM Company!

SCAM Company!

Unfortunately it's not possible to select no stars, or I would have.

No mention anywhere of an extra £20 Airport Levy until after you've booked.

I'd paid a cancellation fee, which I stupidly thought would give me free cancellation, but no! They still want to charge a £20 cancellation fee and of course the booking and cancellation fees themselves are non-refunable.

Even though I immediately tried to cancel, (you have to do this by email - no online cancellation) I'm £24 out of pocket for nothing!

I'll be challenging this through my credit card

Avoid at all costs!

Awful service

Awful service. I have been left waiting for collection for 45 mins, with promises of multiple call backs from driver to tell me where to meet him. Honestly, I would never use this company again. Left me and my family waiting in the cold for 70 mins with promised call backs from driver that never came. Terrible, don’t use is my best recommendation.

Do not use

Do not use, I booked the wrong date by accident and having read the terms and conditions s knew I was well within the timeframe to cancel. But I have tried to contact them multiple times - email, online form and phone call. No response, when I finally spoke to someone today they said they couldn’t help and to email in (again) as my emails hadn’t been received and then they will respond to the email within 72hrs and deduct £20 from me. Yeah !!!

Do not use, I had to cancel my holiday, and having read the terms and conditions s knew I was well within the timeframe for getting g a refund, minus the £10 administration fee. But I have contacted them 5 times - email, online form and phone call. No response, when I spoke to someone they said they will respond to the email within 72 hours (it had already been a week), and still no reply.

Avoid

Unfortunately I forgot to use Trustpilot to check before booking. I read all the terms and conditions of their parking suppliers and chose a meet and greet service that did not state that it had additional charges to pay versus one that clearly stated there were additional charges. It’s only once I made the booking that they said that there were additional car park charges and now they want £20 for me to cancel. Definitely a scam company- avoid!

I always research but forgot on the occasion- do not use! Staff are rude and hang up on you if issues not resolved. They also don’t remove your card details after booking has been completed like they state in their site. They also took money out of my account randomly- over £100. They said they will refund same day and we are now 10 days no refund and bank is getting involved. Unprofessional and rude and thieves.

AWFUL COMPANY DO NOT USE!
Booked parking at Gatwick (meet and greet) £128.95. Compare airport parking deals booked with SafePark meet & greet but on the day it was transferred to iparkgatwick. They did not pick up calls for delivery of our car and when they did they gave excuse after excuse. Road closures, traffic and cars blocked ours in!!! Total rubbish as car was parked 5 mins away and we could see on google maps all clear! THEY TOOK 2HOURS AND 20 MINS TO DELIVER!!! Had to wait until 3am when they knew our flight landed at 00.15am. Rude staff too and car was a total mess covered in mud and tree sap which the driver thought was funny. DO NOT USE!!!

We booked parking at Heathrow T5…NIGHTMARE!

We booked parking at Heathrow T5 through this website with a company called SmartHeathrow Parking who then sent our booking to Premium Parking LHR who didn’t provide the Meet& Greet service we had paid Compare Parking for. With a member of our party needing Airport Assistance we were left in a dreadful situation, none of us being frequent flyers, so put the car in the Pod Parking. I spoke with their representative who told me that I could book later but when I tried was unsuccessful, apparently I should have driven back out and then booked. We ended up being charged the full Drive In rate so had a parking bill of over £800 !!! on our return and they now tell me their rep shouldn’t have said I could book later…Grrrrr I don’t know whom I’m really cross with but PLEASE BE CAREFUL. We simply won’t be flying again 🧐

We booked a meet and greet service from…

We booked a meet and greet service from the orange car park at the airport. On the day of travel, they called us half an hour before we got to the airport asking us to pick up their driver from a different address which apparently was 10 minutes from Stansted airport. The call came from a different number and when we did try to put the post code onto the sat nav, google map did not recognise it. At this stage we are panicking, called the number back, explained what had happened and politely asked them whether we could come straight to the airport as was originally planned which they agreed to.
We left the car with them worried as to whether they were going to look after it properly or not given that we werent able to pick up their driver!!
On our return we had booked the parking till 11 pm. Our plane landed at 10 pm and when we called to notify them about our arrival, they were very rude over the phone and said that we had landed an hour earlier than scheduled and that they do not have a driver at that moment. Eventually the driver arrived at 11:35!!

SCAM

SCAM, do not use. Paid £80 for parking, received an email receipt as proof of payment but no confirmation details regarding car drop off point etc. emailed 3 times to try and get confirmation, no response, called the phone number which goes straight to voicemail and then disconnects the call. Disgusting scammers. Scum bags

Comparison site recommended a rubbish parking company

I used a web site Compare Airport Parking Deals to find parking at Manchester airport. I got a reply and confirmation of my booking from smartparkingdeals.uk. On the basis of cost and distance from airport I chose Vacationcare Premium Self-Park and the booking confirmation immediately added £20 for the "free" airport shuttle. This is dishonest. I've since read Trust Pilot reviews for Vacationcare parking and am now very worried not only about the extra cost but also the quality of the shuttle if it ever arrives.
