Easy to use comparison site
This site gave me an easy to compare list of travel insurance to choose from with enough info at a glance on each one to help me narrow down my choice. The link to the website to get further info or buy provided no surprise extra costs. I'll no doubt use this again for other products.

Went through the lengthy process of siding up with 3 different companies only to find at the end that NONE of them allow you to declare a preexisting condition (for their consideration and either acceptance/rejection with or without an extra premium payable.
Followup phone enquiries to try and find out how to declare condition "up front" was a waste of time as they did NOT even have a medical department.
Have to back to traditional companies anyhow so it has been a complete waste of precious time.
This could be clearly stated in bold print at the very TOP/BEGINING of the comparison table.

At first glance some looked great but further research showed the cover wasn’t as good as my current provider. Especially in the area of dental cover which was extremely poor...not good if doing outdoor pursuits.
Ben, I wasn’t saying it was you. I was merely saying that you really have to go into the details as the cover may not be as good as it looks. The insurance providers I am speaking of are InsureAndGo and Online Travel Insurance.
