Trainline should be ashamed of themselves being associated with these con men. Appears I signed up unwittingly while purchasing a train ticket. Been charging me £18 a month for something I didn't know... See more

They offer a free service and then take money every month. They do not talk to you, they DO NOT refund. You have to block them at your bank. When I got them blocked they then started charging my wife.
They are despicable and should be reported to the financial sector.
DO NOT SIGN UP, WALK AWAY!

Taking money without permission for months

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
Never used this shit website but I just found that I was charged 18 pounds. No form, no notification, only money charged. What a jerk!
As I read through the reviews, I realised I'm not alone. What's wrong with UK's law? This kind of crap should already go to jail!

Consumers beware,
Have absolutely nothing to do with this company.
They advertise on websites for example Ticketmaster and when I attempted to claim money from this company [ Completesave ] lo and behold I was told that Ticketmaster might be "temporarily" withdrawn from their site.
They also take tax carriage etc from their so called 'payback' to you. They told me that I had signed in for their service after purchasing a ticket and proceeded to take a lot of money from my account. They are very experts in this field so my advice is
Stay Away have nothing nothing nothing to do with Completesave

I never signed up for this service, yet 18pounds were deducted from my account today, complete scam

16yr old daughter targeted and had £18 deducted from account. Taking from a child! Wow!
She hasn’t filled in any forms, she hasn’t subscribed, she hasn’t consented.
Reading reviews this seems prevalent and they’re response is we are legitimate.. ha! Jokester! All these negative reviews probe differently.
One response says no one under 18 can sign up and fill out the form. Whatever this form is as nothing has been filled out for them AT ALL but my daughter is under that age and still here they are targeting her. Utter disgrace!
Reported to bank.
Update: called the bank, There had been a previous deduction on £18 last month too and they said that they have worked out it was from a pop up after ordering dominos pizza. No form completed, just even clicking off the pop up has allowed the company to obtain card details. The bank operative said they have raised 3 complaints against this company this morning. They gave us a number to call and we have managed to get her money back .

We inadvertantly signed-up to Completesave, via a pop-up on Moonpig, but only found out after noticing 6 months worth of £18/month had been taken from our account. Having made one phone call, explaining that we did not know what the service was nor how it operated, we were given an immediate 3 month refund whilst on the phone, with the balance to be refunded after completion of a form - which was emailed immediately. So call them, and they will refund without issue (Eli was the guy who helped us, very efficient indeed). N.B.: Just a thought - this type of "subscription" would gain more credibility if the provider was to "alert" the subscriber that the end of the free period was coming to an end, they can then make the decision to continue or not, depending on their approach. These often get dumped into the "scam" bracket when some are in fact not.

It is a complete scam as I cancelled my membership minutes after use and they still took 18 quids from me for a free trial apparently

I’m not very happy. I noticed only two days ago that a monthly amount had been taken from my credit card for nearly 4 years. I feel a bit of a mug. I never knowingly signed up for this. It is a bit of sharp practise.
Once I called them, I got through quickly to someone who told me that my membership would be cancelled. I asked for a full refund. I was told they would send me a form to fill in. It did not arrive. I dare say they were testing my attention. I called again today and have now received an email asking for information which I have sent.
I expect they will make it difficult for me which contrasts with the ease with which I was apparently signed up. So easy that I didn’t even know about it.

Despite what they say, there was no form to fill in, and no details clearly provided that they would start taking £18 a month from our account. It is appalling that this is somehow legal. There is no membership number, no ongoing communications, no "benefits" from joining. It is a scam. Tempting to take them to court.

Total scam i did not sign up to this . It is a criminal organisation stealing peoples details from legit websites then saying you signed up to it absolutely disgusting dishonest lowlifes.

No idea who or what this company is. They have taken money for 9 months without consent. I have no email correspondence so no account number to reference. 100% fraudulent. Will take this higher as these people need to be held to account. Emailing ‘Mary’ does not solve the problem.
