Trainline should be ashamed of themselves being associated with these con men. Appears I signed up unwittingly while purchasing a train ticket. Been charging me £18 a month for something I didn't know... See more

Scam I've just noticed they've been taking money out for over a year and I'm down nearly £400 and have nothing to show for it

An utter con, beware of this unscrupulous money grabbing company, Iceland promised discounts yet it costs £18 per month for the joys of being robbed, luckily my bank refunded my loss, how many old and frail customers are being conned by these thieves?

Like everyone else on all these 💯 1 star reviews, have no idea how these parasites got hold of my details.Unfortunately scammers like these revel in ripping folk off.

This company took £18 out of my Dad's account with no idea who they are or how they managed to get his details - especially since he has been in hospital for the past month. Horrid company.

Money took out my bank again for £18 clearly not making a good impression with all your 1 stars. I better get refunded. Disgusting. I have contacted you before you go there with no response, surprise surprise!!

My bank sent me a Fraud Alert after this lot tried to take £18 from my account. Like many people, I don’t recall signing up-so one of two companies have linked me to this SCAM: Iceland Foods, or Trainline and I have NOT knowingly signed up for this. AVOID!!!
Complete Save membership now cancelled.

Total scam. I have just noticed £18 per month leaving my account. I did not sign up to this service and believe I have been scammed and had money stolen.

Stealing hard earned money from good citizens. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I went online to pay drop off parking at Gatwick airport and the completesave website was linked to it. Been paying since August 2025. Disgraceful.
Update:
The charges relate to a transaction that occurred after I paid for drop-off parking on the Gatwick Airport website. I did not knowingly subscribe to Complete Savings. My card details were never entered into the Complete Savings website; they were used only for the Gatwick transaction.
I have already contacted your customer service by email using the address you provided on Trustpilot, including my name and the last four digits of my card so that you can identify the membership.
You can locate my account using the information in that email.

Like a lot of people, I have lost £400 from an £18 per month. This is an unethical, cheating company who seem to purposely use short and unclear wording on their direct debit information.

Seems like a good business, however, they have a sneaky way of getting customers.
I originally only meant to sign up for a Railcard. Then Complete Save popped up as I’d completed the transaction for the Railcard. It seemed interesting. I set up an account thinking I was in control of when/if I chose to share my card details to get savings on well known brands. Then a few weeks later, £18 was taken out of my account as I’d unknowingly started a month free trial and then went on to a subscription!! My bank details were taken through the purchase of the Railcard! Spoke to my bank who said they’re legit and I disputed this through the website and they have allowed me to closed down the account and have refunded the £18.
If it wasn’t for the sneaky trick of getting people to sign up for subscriptions, I might even consider using the website!

Complete scam. Took £18 per month of my credit card before I noticed. No idea who they are orvhow they got my details. Taking them to court. And then they sent an inauspicious reply trying to weasel their way out.

Mary at CompleteSave has been very helpful in resolving an issue I had regarding two payments made that required a solution.
Mary has responded positively and the matter is now closed.
I say thank you

As best I can understand, a straight up scam or even possibly fraud - although my bank suggest that it isn’t fraudulent. £18 taken from my account without explanation or permission.

Just flew £18 from my account again after couple of years.
Nothing signed, or bought recently.
I cannot understand how they can manage to do this again and again…

Total Scammers, I didn’t sign up anything and somehow they take charging 18£ twice from my bank account without a single email to notify me. total scam! reported to the banks!

Company charged me £18 on cancelling the charge and going through their phone and email they cannot find any record of me signing up and refused a UK GDPR request for my information which they cannot find. The charge was made on a card that I have never used as it's linked to my current account so who know what fraud they used to get this.
Absolute fraud of a company hopefully leads to a few arrests.
