I've been scammed by this company too. Buying protein bars on myprotein dot ie last July I clicked on an offer to get a discount on my next purchase. I was asked to put my credit card details in again, I did this assuming the transaction had timed out. 7 months later I discovered my credit card had been skimmed for 15 euros a month. There was no sign of any details of completesavings as a separate company to myprotein. This breaks consumer law:
"A business has to give you specific information before you buy. The information should be clear and easy to understand. It should include:
- the service details (if not already clear)
- the total price (inc. VAT) or how the price will be calculated
- if any additional charges apply
- if your right to cancel applies
- their name, address and phone number
If there is a dispute about what information was provided, the business has to show they gave you the information."

Completesavings I have sent you a number of emails and have been offered 15 euro which is an insult. Please refund the rest of my money so I don't have to start getting my bank/ small claims court/ consumer protection agency to get it back.

This is a scam company.
I bought tickets from Ticketmaster and completesave somehow harvested banking details as part of some "Micky Mouse" savings scam ... I had never heard of them until I got an email from them a few days ago telling me they were going to take €15 out of my account. They are clearly misleading people into giving banking details or they are scripting the ticketmaster website.

This is a "legit" marketing scam...I bought ticketmaster tickets and have ended up paying €15 for last few mths. Tickets I bought sell out in minutes so one has to be very quick to get them, I haven't knowing/willingly signed up to any online savings scheme...I dont even shop online so why would I sign up?? Lots of people got scammed into this subscription and it is a scam! that bought same ticketmaster festival tickets as I did, it appears. I will be putting a post up on FB festival page to warn others. I will make one phone call today to request all of my money back and if it doesn't happen promptly I will go to my bank and ask them to do whats known as a 'charge back' (Ireland) meaning bank will repay me and chase the company and apply legal charges on top! If there was a way of no stars on here or even minus thats what these scammers would be getting...very annoyed as is most on here that commented

Incredibly easy to subscribe without realising. I was advised by my bank about an unusual transaction which ended up being complete save. Some how I subscribed without realising it when I brought tickets from ticket master! Be very aware as there appears to be no process to subscribe and therefore could subscribe very easily and not realise. I'm not even sure what the site does or even work, so I can not comment on its function.

I have been debited Euro 15 from my account yesterday. I have no idea how , what and why this has been deducted. I dont believe I signed up for membership. Could you let me know more.

I am trying to get a refund. I have received £45. I have had £255 taken from my bank account unauthorized. I have not signed up to anything!! I can provide bank statements to prove this. You have closed down the account (which I never signed up for) and tried to fob me off with £45.
I am owed £210. Please can someone contact me urgently to get this matter resolved. I have also emailed Mary.

Make sure to check and double-check when you're making a Ticketmaster purchase you may end up signing up for this service as well. Always be mindful of where you're putting your card details because of shark practices like this. The company knows fine well what they are doing. I wonder how much of their business is people who aren't even aware they are a member
I await the response trying to justify spamming their business while people are already being rushed by a count-down clock to get their tickets.

I still have no idea how this company got hold of my credit card number. How can this be allowed? No way am I going to send them my email, card number etc. I have cancelled the card.

I originally wrote a scathing review here, with this opening line:
"I just saw this on my bank statement, and then could see it stretching back over a year. I don't think this is a scam as such, but I find it rather dishonest."
After posting this, I saw other posts of people looking for refunds. So I contacted Completesavings.ie and asked for one (they actually have a phone number). There was little wait time, the person dealing with me immediately offered three months refund and said I would receive an email within a day with a few questions to fill out. If I replied to that they would review that and see if a full refund was justified.
I did reply, 2 days ago, and received a full refund today.
So, I am changing from a 1 star recview to a 4 star review on the following basis:
- I had an issue, they resonded very quickly to my complaint
- They gave a full refund
- All was done with no fuss.
So, completesavings.ie is not a scam, but they do need to review their practice of monthly payments as it is obvious that many customers are not aware they are paying this. I know they send emails but that can get lost in an inbox. Possibly an SMS to remind customers they have signed up to this?
For other customers who were not aware of this payment, apply for a refund, you will be surprised.

These fraudsters have also charged me hundreds I have never joined or even used their services, this is a clear scam.
I will be pursing them though the fraud dispute features of my bank in an attempt to get my money back, they are well known for this type of tactic as seen from the thousands of similar reviews.
Before you write a silly response only a full refund of the funds you have removed from
My bank account can make this right.

Terrifying how these companies get your details. I reluctantly called these people after they insisted, promising that they would not ask me for my information - they lied. They asked me everything. They have been emailing me for weeks saying they're giving me £16 ... never heard of these people or signed up to anything and just now they said "on this occasion, they won't take £15 out of my account" ... nobody in the world has my bank details so I'm pretty outraged that they would even consider robbing me for something I know nothing about .. AND that they apparently have my bank details??!!! This is now going to the Fraud department with my bank and my local ombudsam. Terrifying.
I honestly don’t know how I ended up with a a Complete Savings account- I just happened to look at my online bank app today and spotted a pending payment.
I have rung and emailed the company to stop this payment and close the account. I have also alerted my bank.
A very sneaky scam!
Scandalous! They take your bank details from a third party so you could potentially be getting charged a monthly subscription without your knowledge unless you regularly check your bank statements. Their customer service is non existent. They Ignore all emails sent to them and never get a response. Avoid at all costs.
This company totally deserve one star rating or less if i could give it.My personal experience of this company is as follows.Customer service staff that say on the phone hang on or similar and never come back to the phone .Customer service staff that give you different answers to the same question.Emails confirmed as received and will be answered within 5 days but thats the last you hear from them. Many stores now operate pay online and click and collect and send receipts for items purchased via email. Although customer service tell you to forward these emails as proof of items purchased which they will accept after doing so you get an email telling you they wont accept it so you might as well shove £15 down the drain every month.Take my advice together with advice from others who have given a poor rating and stay well away from t his company
I noticed my bank account has been charged without my authorization and i contacted them to get 'this service' cancelled and refunded. I have never heard about this company and it surprises me they are even allowed to operate in Ireland.
I don’t know how they got my bank details but it’s a fraud, they took money from my account without notification and I did not set up a subscription with them beware and always check your account
I wasn't aware that this company had scammed me for at least 500 euro until I examined my bank statement.
When I contacted them they told me they had no record of my membership. How convenient for them.
I did not sign up to this site so they're getting money by deception.
My bank has blocked any further payments and are investigating. Time to call in the Fraud Squad ?
Signed up for £15.00 per month via Argos, claim back my monthly Bonus each month, but have to keep a close eye on it.have saved well over £1000.00 in 18 months.some really good deals.ie screwfix,Argos,Iceland,Majestic wine. But some retailers WILL not pay.currently New Look and a repeat order at PetsatHome.
BEWARE this company has a very bad reputation. They do not pay the cash back owed, and will do anything to set you up to fail. Their favorite is "Abuse of Power" tactics -Where they cancel your membership because you've proved them wrong!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS THEY'RE CORRUPT !!
