The website was great to use and very professionally done. Mrs and I spent ages playing around finding "Our" door. when that was done we called up and spoke to Steve, he was very reassuring and answered all our questions and gave us rough time lines of when things would happen. (Due to the covid situation) We decided to go for the whole door and install package and a survey was booked. Ray came to do the survey,we also asked him questions.he was very knowledgeable and professional and alleviated any of our concerns. After the survey we needed to pay the remainder of the balance of the door so we wanted to make sure the company was 100% legit which it is. Few weeks later the door was installed by Ray and Dave, door was installed with no hassle and fuss and all within the time lines mentioned by Steve. The only thing they could improve the service is by giving an update on the progress on the door manufacture. As after the survey you don't hear from them until the installation date. But you can always call them to see how things are but we chose not to.

We recently had a new Front Door fitted to our new property which also needed to be FD30 rated. As soon as I contacted Steve I found him to be easy to work with and completely honest. The lead-time was as expected for a Fire Door and the installation by Ray & Steve was immaculate. It has been a long time since I saw two skilled professionals leave a property so clean after they had finished!! The whole experience with this company has been a real pleasure and I highly recommend them to anyone. Great service, great product and great result!!

Had this door for 5 years nice door but has had faults the bottom door gasket keeps breaking and has had to be replaced every year and the door itself had to be replaced as the colour (pine effect) began to fade badly,I have asked numerous times where I can obtain a roll of gaskey rubber ( as it only takes 10 minutes to replace myself) but with no reply.

We are impressed with the the Composite Door Shop. Steve helped us design the perfect door and coped with all our requirements and changes: from picking the perfect RAL to the additional top box. David and James fitted the door in a couple of hours and were polite, courteous and did a fantastic job. We are really satisfied with our door and would highly recommend this company for the service, price and delivery. Should we need another door in the future, we will certainly use these guys again.

Just had my door supplied new from the composite door shop and it is a top quality door, I got it supply only for a friend of mine who works in the trade to fit for me, and he said they are top quality and he couldn't buy one at that cost using trade account. In short I was hoping for half decent due to the price but got a top quality door at rock bottom price so really happy and already getting asked from friends and neighbors where I got it from. Delivered on the date promised even at a difficult time with the coronavirus affecting most companies.

Fantastic service from the composite door shop. Steve and the team were first class and Steve was very patient helping us choose the right door and side panel for our house. Would definitely recommend the Composite Door Shop. The installation of the door from David Toal was amazing. David was extremely professional, very diligent and very personable. He took his time on what was quite a tricky install (old 1950's house) on a Sunday morning. He was very thorough and made sure that the door was installed to the highest quality. I felt very confident with David from the first minute and was sure he would do a great job and I was in safe hands and he certainly didn't disappoint.

Very good service and quality and for a price far better than the big firms. My new solid core composite door is great and the install went well. Steve is very helpful and responsive and the installers are a great team as well.

I was quite worried ordering a door online. Would it be the right size? Would it be any good? Need not worry my measurements were good and the door is fantastic! And at an amazing price. A friend and i even managed to fit it. Would highly recommend and i saved 1k by ordering on here and a bit of DIY. Very happy customer.

Door quality very good and this is the only company i managed to find to let you fully customize your door to have it exactly as needed.
Only pont to mention door coming straigt from supplier factory and we had some components missing so check your delivery as soon as arrived (hence 4 star review). Again this been rectified promptly.

Steve alongside Ray and Steve the installers did a fantastic job. We required a fire door with updated regulations and Steve offered advice throughout the process which their competitors could not, at a competitive price. Steve was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Ray and Steve installed the door quickly and to a very high standard, whilst being friendly and professional. A recommended service.

I am extremely happy with my new door and the service I received. I was in quite a rush to get a new door and Steve was extremely helpful getting everything done in record time. He also answered all my messages immediately and all my questions, and understood all my concerns. The door is solid, safe and looks gorgeous in its light blue colour. Having all the documents showing the fire and smoke resistance of the door is also quite reassuring. It's a true fire door and it shows. The two men installing the door were great, professional and polite. They did an amazing job, and cleaned everything after they were done. It is not a cheap door, but the price is reflected in the quality of the door itself and the amazing quality of the service provided from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to get a new door from the composite door shop in the future, and recommend the service to anyone looking for a fire door (or any door really).

Unfortunately our experience of the Composite Door shop has not been a positive one. We ordered in 2017 and are still having issues now in June 2019.

The online site is fantastic and Nigel was a huge help in making our design perfect. However everything went wrong once Martindales got involved (this company is contracted to install the doors). I wish I could share pictures to show you the absolute mess they made of our doors/side panels on numerous occasions.

Here’s just a few of the many issues they caused and the many revisits we have had in those two years,

Cuts during installation to the seals, huge finger prints left in the silicone sealant on installation, scratches on the door frame - which was then sanded down?!?! Leaving a big grey mess on a black door. Then an attempt to paint the black composite door frame resulting in having an entire new door frame ordered. Leaking sills, leaking window cassette panels, using wrong colour fasica to cover the joins between side panels, poorly fitted fascia causing internal wooden framework of interior wall to Rot! The list goes on and after two years of call outs we have given up. On manynof the occasions the sitter would try and convince us that there wasn’t an issue or that that was the best they could do for us (that includes the sanding our door).

We spent over £2500 on our door and we hate the door as we know how many faults and rectification it has had.
My heart sinks every time Martindales turns up. Total incompetence and poor customer service.

I probably should add that it’s Gloucester Martindales that have been the issue. Steer clear if these fitters cover your area!!!!

Dealing with Composite Door Shop has been a pleasure every step of the way. We initially used the user-friendly website to select our door style and the various options. We then contacted them to obtain further details. Nigel was very helpful and took us through the various design options and sizing considerations before placing our order. He was also very patient when we phoned back the next day with a design change request! The door was delivered on time and we are delighted with the very high build quality of our Finsbury Zinc Art Elegance black composite door. We managed to fit this ourselves and it fitted perfectly. This looks great and has transformed the entrance to our home. I would highly recommend Composite Door Shop for the overall service they provide and the excellent quality of their products.

We ordered our door and from the first phone call we knew we had made the right decision. The initial contact took all of our details and promised a return call that day (we all know that doesn't normally happen) and we got our return call. They confirmed our survey and that again happened on time. they then confirmed our installation date, that also happened on time. The fitters were very professional at all times and kept us informed of everything as it happened. When they had finished they explained how the new door worked and made sure we understood. I would not hesitate in recommending The Composite Door Shop as they have restored our faith with the professionalism of the office staff and the skilled tradesmen they use to install. We will be using them again..
