Excellent service. Easy website, simple to order, efficient delivery & superb products. My plants are smiling!

I ordered 3 bags of compost - I explained that we has limited access for the 850kg bags when they called to deliver. When they did turnup the following day they could not deliver to our driveway but said they would go away and figure out another way to proceed. 3/4 days later I called to chase and was told that they had infact returned my order back to CD. 2 weeks on they have now given me a refund but could not explain why my neighbor had had her order delivered by the same company. Unless you live right next to a main road I suggest you use another company - very disappointing.

The order was delivered within one week of ordering which was excellent considering the difficult time we are living in at the moment. My client said the delivery person was helpful and placed the two bulk bags exactly where she wanted. The quality of the Jubilee Compost seems very good. The proof of course will be how the plants respond.

I have now used CD three times, and I am very happy. Recently I ordered three bags of Black Gold for my new vegetable beds, and the compost was exactly what I was looking for. The driver was very helpful and took the time to bring the pallets round to the nearest accessible point to my beds. I shall buy from Compost Direct again in November.

I have used Compost Direct a couple of times now, most recently in February 2021, and I have to say that the quality of the service and the products are excellent. This time we had one bulk bag of black gold and three of the Veggie Pro. Delighted with the quality. Delivery was really good also.

I ordered my compost and bone meal on Thursday and it was delivered this morning, Tuesday.
From purchase to delivery, everything has been smooth, I even got an update from the manager regarding my purchase. Yesterday the courier contacted me to let me know when delivery would be made and true to their word, it was delivered just as promised. The driver, Macin,went above and beyond take sure the delivery was made in a considerate and safe manner, I must add I live in a small cul-de-sac on a hill, even bin lorries struggle to come up to the end of our road and there were parked cars on the narrow road. Such drivers are a credit to the company. The customer service has been excellent. I obviously haven't used the compost yet so I don't know it's composition but I'm confident in the purchase. I will update once I've used it. I would recommend compost direct.com.and the courier company they used, nothing but praise. Now let the planting begin!

Ordered 850L of bark and mulch to lay over my top soil, pallet was delivered 5 days later and placed into my garage by the driver. I have now dispersed it around my borders at the back of the house, looks good.

Placed a huge order - over £700 worth of compost was ordered - arrived in bulk bags which we asked to be left on the driveway, the driver did comply but not without first telling us how much effort it was to do so and that he was within his rights to dump it on the street - he isn't FYI as it is a ROAD.

All looked good at the beginning, we had to take it round the back a barrow load at a time and realised a bit too late that only the top 4 inches of each bag was actually any good. The rest of each bag was full of big clumps of ash, brick, broken pottery, sweet wrappers, stones, pebbles, more stones, more pebbles, big branches that had not broken down etc. you get the picture. Tried to get in touch with them but this was during the height of the pandemic last year when they made themselves unreachable. However at almost a year later and still not a word from them I can confirm that despite our best efforts to work with the rubbish we were given we had the worst year for veg yet and not so much as an apology from the company responsible. It was an expensive outlay and they just took the money and never responded to us again. This was without a doubt the poorest quality 'compost' we have ever had.

I will NEVER use this company again and advise others to take their money elsewhere also.

As always excellent quality. Used to top up my raised beds and top dress important plants and shrubs. Would not use anything else.

unloaded soil and put it in my garage.

I have been using them for 5 years without an issue but they have now changed delivery service to a bunch of miserable jobsworths who cant be bothered and just want to dump a ton of s**t on the pavement. I am taking my business elsewhere

Have ordered from Compost Direct for many many years- great product. Always delivered on a flat-bed and craned onto the property- except this year!!! Unfortunately they've contracted out their deliveries and it came in regular truck without any warning. I'm now stuck with a bulk bag of compost in the street. Very disappointing.

Just had my second big bag of border gold delivered and put on garden, again wonderful quality and consistency, we can’t wait to see how the flowers and shrubs respond this spring and summer.

Will use them again in the Autumn!

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Kind and courteous delivery driver who very kindly left the bags on the patio. Bags full to the brim with wonderful mushroom compost.

This was actually my second purchase so it speaks for its self really! The product and service was great on both occasions. Delivery was simple to arrange and the driver was friendly and helpful.

My 3rd order of Jubilee Compost and once again the service has been 5*.... I needed a 2 part order and both went extremely smoothly with the help of Karen. I would recommend both the compost which is perfect for my clay garden and the company for their 1st class service. Thank you Karen ...... I did it, 12 bags of compost, one wheelbarrow, distance of 87 meters and a pug!!

Excellent. Product is top quality super dark rich compost. Delivery was quick, efficient and courteous. I have had a consistently good experience with compost direct across several orders now, as well as the quality of the product they actually fill the bulk bags up fully which not all do. The bags of black gold came packed full to the brim. They are sat on my driveway next to a bulk bag of sand ordered from a competitor which is supposed to be the same volume but is probably 80% full and looks half empty in comparison.

Absolutely dreadful delivery. I have never seen such inconsiderate behaviour, firstly, they did not contact me beforehand to arrange delivery as promised on the website. This morning, they left a missed call but did not leave any message - I was busy looking after patients and could not pick up the phone - and they never bothered to phone back, or to leave a message when they dumped 850L of compost right in front of my drive.

I had left clear instructions to leave it at the side of the house, with clear access paths, but this was completely ignored. My daughter was in the house and nobody rang the doorbell - this was confirmed on security cameras.

Completely shocking, inconsiderate and shoddy service. The compost looks lovely, but the service is abysmal.
