Ordered a Lian Li Lancool II Mesh rgb…

Ordered a Lian Li Lancool II Mesh rgb mid-tower case. Arrived exactly when they indicated, and very well packaged. It's a large thing for me to trust to Parcel Force, bit I needn't have worried.... not even scratch on it. Would certainly vouch for Computer Orbit

Antec Flux Pro case, power play!

First of all I want to say I'm pleased with my purchase because in europe they were the only retailer with the case I was looking for in stock, the case just arrived now at my home in Norway.
I'm very pleased they deliver to Norway and I like the fact they use parcelforce so the shipping is not crazy expensive.
I had a nice experience I'm just not happy about one thing... because of their position on the market as the only place with this case in stock they increased the price of the product a few pounds more than what the case is supposed to cost!
I kind of understand it especially because they don't operate in \Norway but that's something I'm not used to, here in Norway the price is the price and the promotion is the promotion prices don't increase based on stock numbers!
But like I said I don't mind it in the end because this case was a big problem to get it here so I'm extremely happy and I'll certainly use Computer Orbit again in the future.

Where do I even start

Honestly where to start , sadly I was sent a motherboard with missing components and damaged processor pins as a result. when I requested an exchange I was told that the damages did not match there guidelines for returns , even with images provided that clearly showed the poor quality of the board I had received. The email I received in response was essentially a defensive rant with little fact included at all. Would never use them again out of fear of having to return another unusable motherboard. Go elsewhere for your PC parts as they at least will arrive checked and in tact and I’m 100% sure there customer service will be better than Orbit. Terrible.

Hi Rory,

I must admit we aren’t surprised to receive this review from you after you threatened us to do so if we didn’t offer an exchange for an item that has been damaged whilst in your possession.

It is a shame really that threating to leave a negative review can be used as a bargaining tool and/or to blackmail us in order to obtain an exchange/refund for a product that we are not obliged to do so.

Maybe the best place to start when leaving a review is explaining the facts, since you failed to do so we’ll outline them below for you and for others to read and understand the situation better:

1. You are claiming you received a damaged item, yet you informed us 2 months after receiving the item.


2. You are claiming the item was damaged and sent pictures of the box which had very minor ‘scrapes’ on 3 corners, you also showed a corner damaged on the motherboard, yet the corner damaged on the motherboard correlates with the only corner that is not damaged on the box. We know this as the item can only be packaged one way and after checking this it is clearly obvious the damage you are claiming is not consistent with the damage on the box.


3. You’re also making false allegations that you were sent a ‘open’ motherboard or an item with missing parts, again as we’ve proved and outlined in our email response to you this is a false accusation. As mentioned in our email we track each item by serial number and can confirm with 100% confidence that you were shipped a new and sealed item.


4. Lastly, but more importantly, you’ve damaged the pins on the CPU socket. This and other kinds of CID (Customer Induced Damage) is not covered under warranty as we’ve explained.


You’re also quick to criticise our customer services, however, we replied to you very efficiently and during ‘out of hours’ times in order to assist with the situation as best as we could. You’re saying our email was a ‘defensive rant’ when it was anything but that and in fact was very informative and conclusive. It seems like as you didn’t get the outcome you hoped for you feel it is necessary to make false accusations of our customer services and also threaten us with leaving this review.


We can only apologise you feel the way you do, however, we can not accept an item that you claim to be faulty 2 months after you received it, neither can we accept an item that has physically been damaged by the user.

Very helpful staff answered all of my…

Very helpful staff answered all of my questions very quickly, when I managed to download the wrong software update and thought the keyboard was broken I got a reply and fixed the issue within the hour. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

Excellent service and price

Excellent service and price. I ordered a CPU cooler on a Saturday afternoon and although I paid for next day I did not expect it to be delivered on the Sunday. Will definitely look here first when I need anything else.

Life saver - 1st class service…

Now this is the company to do business with!!! 1st class service at every point. We had an emergency on Friday and needed next day delivery on a part that no where in NI stocked. Ordered the part online and selected next day delivery by Royal Mail. Given the circumstances I decided to phone and double check that I would have a Saturday delivery. Phone was answered promptly by a real gentleman called Andrew I think (no listening to endless options). He went through to the delivery team and spoke directly to them (I didn’t have to go through my explanation twice). He came back straight away - Turned out I needed next day “weekend” to ensure Saturday delivery. He very kindly changed this for me - at no extra cost! End result - part arrived with us in Northern Ireland at 10.30am Saturday. If I were in Gateshead I would shake this man’s hand. 😂. Would recommend 100%

Excellent

Purchased new Motherboard/CPU/RAM from here as they were all on sale at a good price from here. They were shipped and arrived within 2 days with fantastic packaging (including a mini bag of Haribos!)

Last Minute Upgrades

During a build, we had a last minute decision to upgrade the standard box cooler of the 5600 to the mightily impressive Peerless Assassin 120.

Computer Orbit had it in stock and at the best price (found through pcpartpicker). Arrived the very next day and build was completed.

My only gripe is with Royal Mail who made the delivery. Somewhere along the line, the box picked up some damage to one corner, but thankfully everything inside was all perfect!
