Configured a high-end gaming laptop. Quick delivery and excellent quality! I absolutely love the minimalistic build - no unwanted logo/marks on the chassis and no extra programs installed. The instant-messaging customer service on the website was also very helpful. Absolutely nothing to complain.

I must say best people I have deal with. Very helpful and professional costumer service. Fast shipping of items and prices are also competitive. I would recommend them to anyone. 5* service.

I'll chime in the chorus regarding the excellence of the customer support, I fail to imagine how they could be any better.

There was some fuckup with UPS and I couldn't get hold of them to solve it, the support guy did, amongst other things.

As for the computer, I went for a plastic chassi and it obviously is a tad more plasticky than an aluminum dito. However, the hinges for the screen seem solid, the keys on the keyboard have a nice feel. Battery lasts 4h if doing nothing but stream video, 1h more than the 3h in the specs (when moving files around and downloading at 250mbit it plummeted to 1,5h from the increased energy consumtion).

Placed my order on a Thursday and had delivery the following monday, even after customizing every part :)

I am happy I came across this option when looking for a new laptop for music production. Normally, to get a desired amount of oomph in the memory and CPU department, one has to go for a gaming computer that also comes with an high end GPU. Being able to choose a GPU befitting one´s needs instead of having to dole out good money on something one doesn't is well nice.

Now, what is left to see is how this badboy stands the test of time :)

As someone already wrote, what shines of this shop, compared to the others, is the communication with the seller.
Before buying my notebook I've written with him at least 20 e-mails, asking for every single detail (that was important for me). After buying, I've had super fast support 2 times: when my battery wasn't working correctly; when I've asked help because my chassis went broken (by the way, the notebook is robust enough that after falling from almost 1,8 meter only the corner went destroyed but it still working flawless).
So, for who reads, trust NovaCustom: for the seller your a real person, not a number, and he always helps you to find what you need.

Excellent customization choices, both in hardware and software, going as far as installing two OS in dual boot.

The final product looks very solid, and thanks to the SSD is extremely fast.

Overall the prices might be slightly on the higher side, but the quality of both the PC and the service are undeniable.

The laptop was delivered quickly. Windows was installed without any of the unnecessary programs. So far I am very pleased with my purchase.

The excellent pre-sale and post-sale service are the most noteworthy. Compare with the big brands, where you don't know exactly what you're getting and can't ask questions. I could ask whatever I wanted and always got a serious and useful answer. In addition, I'm getting a three-year full warranty, so I'm good on service for the foreseeable future.

The notebook itself is gorgeous. Great keyboard, great screen, very fast machine. And it came with Windows and a lot of my favorite utilities pre-installed. And nothing else.

I honestly don't see a single reason why you should buy a Dell (my earlier go-to brand) if you can buy a NovaCustom.

I'm not the kind of person who write reviews of companies or products. The thought never crosses my mind. Let's be frank, a lot of companies are bureaucratic colossal automatons. Why bother?

They are usually refer you to some obscure part in a 200 page ToS, often impossible to make sense of even if you try it, rather than trying to help you. Since that's the norm smaller companies often try to emulate that boring behavior.

Well, this might be my first and only exception to my rule of not writing so called "product reviews".

So, I'm an inquisitive person. Before, as well as after and during, my purchase NovaCustom answered a myriad of questions I had and never brushed me off.

The product I bought proved to have a manufacturing defect. NovaCustom took care of that without any fuzz and with ease.

I live in a sort of remote location so sending and receiving the computer became a slight problem for me. This also got sorted out and NovaCustom proved to be very forthcoming about making alternative arrangements regarding this. From what I understood despite some extra work on their part.

I usually don't care too much about personal interaction with professionals; the "service-minded" personality. I doesn't hurt to talk to a polite person of course, but if they do their job I don't really care if they are polite or not.

And yet, that being the case I still want to stress that all interaction felt very natural and unforced. No sales pitches, no "buy 3 computers and get one for free"-BS, just normal, decent and human conversation.

I urge people to consider buying stuff from a smaller business like NovaCustom. In a world of corporate stream-lined environments all of the above felt really refreshing to me.

And I mean, you can get GNU/Linux installed by default if you want to. (You should). What's not to like about that?

Service and delivery 5 stars. Good communication, perfect sales and a very nice product receieved. Ubuntu preïnstalled with details and options as provided on checkout: fantastic!

The one thing keeping this from 5 star-rating is the built-in fingerprint-reader not being supported under Ubuntu. Not a big deal, but if this was communicated clearly on sales, it would certainly be 5/5.

My laptop suffered from a mechanical defect. The repair was free under warranty, and most importantly, it was done quickly (a few business days).

Everything great.
The dual boot works perfectly, a couple of driver annoyances but nothing major and the benchmarks match the specs.
I had a notebook built, shipped and received in less than 4 days, for close to half what it would have cost me.
Definitely recommend.
