The HDD was starting to fail in my satellite recorder (non Sky). It became apparent to me that 2.5" mechanical Surveillance standard HDD's were pretty thin on the ground. Sure you can still get bog standard drives but in a PVR environment catastrophic early failure of these drives are likely. Whilst looking for a drive I came across a surveillance standard SSD from Hikvision on the Connectec website. I used the chat function to enquire if the drive was suitable for PVR use. I got an immediate answer, fantastic. I used the information given to me by the excellent advisor and went ahead and ordered. Now this was at 16:50 on a Friday afternoon so obviously this order wouldn't be dealt with until Monday morning, it would be (in the real world anyway) unreasonable to expect it to be dealt with before Monday. So I guess the order was looked at first thing Monday morning, packed, labelled and shipped and in my hand on Tuesday. Fantastic service, This company is now saved in my bookmarks and I am certain this won't be my last purchase from this excellent outfit

I've never dealt with this company before but when I had new windows installed I decided to renew the old window tremblers and contacts. This company was by far the cheapest without any compromise on quality. The delivery date was also within the time stated. I've now used Connectec twice and will certainly use them again should the need arise

Product is exactly what I expected, well made and dimensions accurate. Delivery was good. However, packaging could have been less for such a robust item a lot of packaging materials were used in a very large box!
