I ordered some underground ducting, 10m + 3m.it came in a 13m length, that was perfect for me so no joint necessary, intelligent people thank you.

Fitted the camera to the gable end of garage. All power cable installed in loft and brought to the outside garage wall.
The large connector makes it difficult to fit the cable through a cavity wall. It needs a 22mm hole. Abandoned after drill failed to penetrate the outer brick.
Plan B successful. Fit the cables into a junction box from Screwfix @ £3.47 and fix the camera to the front. Coil the cables from the camera into the box and just drill a 12mm hole through the back and through the cavity wall. This with a bit of fiddling and ingenuity allows the power cable to be brought through and join the camera cable.
Once installed I found it difficult to find the operating functions. After a phone call to Paul in service dept everything became clear. There should be an instruction sheet provided to advise how to navigate to the set up procedure. My router is a fair way from the camera but it picked up a signal.
After all set up it all seems to work well.

First time I ised them for ethernet cabling and associated bits - all arrived quickly and well. would use again.

House alarm key fob batteries - we needed some spare batteries for our key fob and Connectec were very efficient. The batteries came within a couple of days and the company offer product support, if needed. Highly recommended.

Wanted to purchase some upgraded Camera's for my home CCTV setup, these guys had what I wanted and at a cheaper price than some other places I'd seen. Sure, you can't get free next day delivery with your subscription account like elsewhere but I wasn't in a rush.

Delivery was on time and via a reputable courier both of whom keep you up to date on timescales. Can't fault the goods or the experience here.

Whilst on the site I did look around to see what alternatives they might stock, I was upgrading anyway so why not see if there was something even better. I was slightly disappointed to see that they only offer certain stock to 'Trade' users - I'm just a guy looking to secure his home but should that mean I can't buy a certain brand of Camera or that I have to pay someone in the 'trade' to provide one for me (with their upsell value on top I assume). I get supplying to trade as a business model - you even have a VAT slider on the site to show applicable pricing, just let me buy the good stuff direct, I don't see what the big deal is.

The product I purchased was very reasonably priced compared to other online companies & my local electrical wholesalers. The drum of 100m bell wire arrived earlier than expected, will definitely be using Connectec again in the future
