Connells Survey & Valuation Reviews 

We were unfortunate enough to have a Connells valuer come out to value our property. The guy was clueless and spent about five minutes looking at the house asked a couple of asinine questions and left.

They then valued the house 70 grand less than it was valued at two years ago. We then appealed the valuation providing an example of an exact same property on the street that sold for 70k more, as well as three other similar properties that sold in the previous year.

They then rejected the appeal because "there wasn't enough" evidence. We are lucky, this was just for a remortgage that would have tipped us into the better LTV. If you are trying to get a mortgage in the first place choose a provider that doesn't use Connells.

The evaluator arrived within time, he was very polite and professional. Greatly appreciated his time and professionalism.

The surveyor called 30 minutes before meeting up onsite (as agreed previously). The inspection was carried out in a logical and timely manner. No problems or issues, an excellent service.

Connells SV rang to arrange a survey. They later sent a message to confirm the time of day and then the surveyor called me half an hour before the time to confirm his arrival. The survey was undertaken in a timely fashion and I was advised of what would happen next. They were a pleasure to have in the house. It all went extremely well.

His advice was helpful and gave us confidence moving forward with our project. We appreciate his attention to detail and professional approach throughout the meeting.
