Outstanding Service Dept

2022 We purchased washer/dryer and a refrigerator. It was a mess and I gave a pretty bad review at that time.
However, in April 2024, the refrigerator required service. I took only ONE (1) yes, one phone call to the service department and my refrigerator was checked, parts ordered, and serviced in a very timely manner. The service technician was very knowledgeable and reliable. I never had to call them back. They contacted me and kept me updated.

The technician was from Amarillo Texas area/store.

One phone call service call! Unbelievable. Good job Conn's you get 5 stars!!

STAY AWAY FROM CONNS HOMEPLUS!

On February 23, 2023 I called Conn's Homeplus on Padre Island Drive in Corpus christi, TX and spoke with a salesman named David. I told him what I wanted, GE front load washer and I could not afford more than $100 per month on payments. He kept putting me on hold to talk to his manager and he told me he had a contract ready for me to sign for 24 months at $95 per month. My friend, Alice Thomas, took me to the store on Saturday February 25, 2023. David started having problems with the contract, so he enlisted the help of his manager, Brandon. Brandon continued rewriting the contract and sent them to my email address. I found 9 different contracts in my email. When I signed the final contract, the told me that I only have to sign one time and the computer captures my signature and will put it everywhere it needs to be. My payment with tax ended up being $100.43. Finally, after nearly 5 hours, my friend and I got to leave the store. The washer was supposed to be delivered on February 26th but I kept getting excuse after excuse and it was finally delivered 8:30pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. On March 2, 2023 I received an email welcoming me to American first Finance and my first payment due on a lease to own package for 12 months is $198.43! I was stunned! I only get $900 a month from social security and I cannot afford a payment of $198.43. I am sure, after I left, the manager, Brandon, used my signature, saved by the computer to rewrite this very incorrect lease! I immediately called American first Finance and the woman said all she can do is file a complaint. I told her the whole story. She advised me to call Conn's Homeplus and tell Brandon what happened, he is the only one that can rewrite the contract. I called Brandon, he told me David was no longer with the company. He told me to hold on and he would look over the contract and fix it. He put me on hold for over an hour and I just figured that he was fixing the contract. Finally, I got tired of waiting, hung up and called back. They told me Brandon left for the day over an hour ago. He put me on hold and left. I have tried to call him several times and he ignores my calls and refuses to call me back!

Worst experience ever

Still waiting after over 2 months for the rest of my furniture delivery. This has got to be the worst experience next to the one we had with Bob's Furniture in PA. Still missing 3 centerpieces of my living room set.Nothing but the run around and corporate trying to blow smoke up my ass. Over it.

Purchased an electric range

Purchased an electric range. Sales lady was professional, and this review does not reflect her. Everything else turned out to be the worst nightmare buying experience I have ever had, and I am 71 years old. When the range was being delivered they had put a 4 foot power cord on it. I live in an older apartment, and this cord was too short to reach the outlet. The guys who delivered the range told me that I had to remove the cord by myself, then take it to Conn's, and Conn's would replace it with the right one. After uninstalling the cord, I took it to Conn's, only to be told by the manager that they didn't have a 6 foot power cord and I was out of luck. I then told them to take it back, only to be told that I would be hit with a 15% restocking fee if I did that. I then threatened the manager with a lawsuit, citing the Texas Warranty of Merchantibility law. After that, I drove to Lowe's, bought the 6 foot cord there, and drove back to Conn's and turned the 4 foot cord back in, and was refunded the charge on the cord, which was almost 35 dollars. I was also refunded the haul away fee because the old range was not hauled away. This I can understand because the apartment I live in is very old, and there were roaches in the old range. However, I had to move the old range outside by myself. This was very difficult for me because I have heart problems and high blood pressure that I am being treated for. My whole body is very sore from the exertion I had to make. I've been a customer of Conn's for about 30 years, but no more. Customer service has gone into the toilet to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if one of their customers who also has health problems died because of having to deal with the same type of problem I had. These people are totally heartless.... Well, maybe not totally. They have a heart. It's a cash register. Conn's would make a great poster boy for corporate corruption. The only reason I am giving a one star review is because there is no option to give a zero.

OMG excellent sales service

OMG! Excellent service from Sarah at the Arvada store… she spent over an hour with me on the phone picking out the perfect oven/range top. She was so good that I ended up buying a dishwasher too. Many props! Conn’s is lucky to have her.

Rediculous customer service

My name is Derrick Jenkins, my credit application for Yes Money was approved on October 2, 2021. I went to the Conns Home Plus store in Southaven Ms.. I was asked if I wanted to make a purchase with my account, so I did. When the purchase was complete, they do not even give you a paper receipt. So when I get home I used the chat feature on their website. I wanted to see if they could issue me my account number so that I could manage my account online. I was told after many chats back and forth over several days, that I could be given the account number after 72 hours. Here it is 5 days later and still no account number. I think they do this deliberately, so that you cannot start to making your payments on time to pay it off quickly. I do not recommend shopping here. Every time I am traveling past this store they never have many customers. I can see why.

I paid off all balances with a check…

I paid off all balances with a check from a finance company that over paid what I actually owed, Conn's has yet to pay me back for the over payment on one of those accounts. It has been about 1 year since payoff. I will never do business with Conn's again.

Good afternoon to everyone that work for the Conn'S Customer Center.I do hope that all of yous are doing ok smile.Also I do hope that all of yous will have a very wonderful day and yes always enjoy life ok smile.In ending I must tell all of yous that when I received a call from Conn'S HomePlus Account Recovery Agent Macy to discuss with me some of my loan pay back options she was very very very Professional Helpful and yes very Caring to me and that was very good business ok smile.Last of all Marcy is always such a very very Positive Role Model for all young and old agents that work in the Account Recovery Department ok smile.Finally to everyone Account Recovery Department Agent Marcy is always such a very very very very Positive Representative for the Conn'S HomePlus store that she works for ok smile.Now last of all before I end my Review Marcy has very very Excellent Communication Skills and yes yes she always know and love her job and I say JOB WELL DONE ok smile.
