Great service, really good prices and quality products.

Made an order and paid for the 1-2 days delivery. Had a message to say delivery would be made, and only 3 out of 6 parcels turned up. Call Construction Megastore, and seemed very uninterested...thats what Fedex told us!
Was then told that the other deliveries would be made the next day. No show and after many calls no one had an answer.
Now told it maybe the next day, so 4-5 days later!! Its not our fault, Fedex is to blame and you have to take up with them. I am (was your customer), and have been told nothing but untruths.
I shall be after my fee that I paid for the delivery back.
I will buy local from now on.

I ordered several items including a soakaway crate on 22nd April and paid for ‘express delivery’. Two days later I received a phone call asking if I would mind accepting a different soakaway crate, which I agreed to, but expressed that I really needed all these items by 26th April.
I received notification that all items had been dispatched on 24th April, but when FedEx came on 25th April half of the order was missing, including the soakaway crate. I immediately tried to get in touch with Construction Megastore but got their answer phone so left a voicemail requesting a call back.
After no call back came I called back and managed to speak to somebody. They acknowledged that the whole order had not been delivered, despite me receiving an email stating that it had, and said they would call me back. Unfortunately that call back never came and I have been left in limbo wondering where the rest of my order is and if I will actually receive what I’ve paid for.
I’ve tried to call again this morning, but despite the website saying their office was open, I was unable to get hold of anyone.
I needed all of the items today to commence a project at home, but now I will have to wait at least another week which causes a significant inconvenience for me.
It wouldn’t be as bad if I could get some communication back assuring me that they were dealing with my issue, and provided a date to deliver the rest of my order. But I’m left completely in limbo and on the dark.
It’s extremely frustrating and I wish that I had never ordered from Construction Megastore.
I’m giving a one star review only because there is not an option for zero!

First order they hadn’t dispatched after telling me on multiple occasions that it had been. I had to call up and then be told that they want more money for delivery.

Second order that I paid for next day delivery wasn’t dispatched till the next day, then it was delayed further.

The delivery itself was bad. The product was moulded. And a lot of it was poor quality timber.

I ordered 24 wooden battens for a project, they arrived strapped together and when I opened them, they were soaking wet and obviously has been for some time.
In addition to this, at least half of them are unusable due to chunks missing, cracks and full-width knots (one snapped in two just from it being picked up).
I contacted them several times, received confirmation my emails had been delivered and read but received no response.
Website says that when problems are reported they will "make it right" but that's clear just nonsense and their policy is copy/pasted from somewhere else.

Delivery seems to be poorly managed! 1 option of £12.00 fee for Express 1-2 day. for items not to turn up in that window. they build up a false pre-tense by sending an email to suggest that your order will be delivered within that window only for the tracking to not progress and then when you contact the company they blame their suppliers for the delays. seem to be a lack of understanding of cost/time implications this type of issue has to small scale business.

Good communication and fast delivery, prices very competitive.

Like another reviewer i was slightly nervous about using this company but i didn't need to be. Ordered on Thursday morning. Within 30 mins i received a tracking number and was delivered before 12PM the next day. By far the cheapest company around for insulation and reasonable delivery cost. Would def use again.

Ordered 3 seperate items. They called and said the main item I wanted would be delayed. I said don't ship anything until that is available and I would wait.

An item randomly turned up in spite of this.

Then I got a delivery of the item that was delayed and they sent a confirmation that I had received everything on my order.

I had to contact them again to ask where the third product was and They told me it's delayed but I will receive it tomorrow. Why did they advise me it was delivered then?

Well tomorrow came and went and there was no delivery. I'm now waiting for them to read my latest message so they can advise me was why I still do not have my items.

Best avoided unless you have time on your hands, enjoy chasing them up and like waiting around.

I nearly didn't order due to some reviews but I did anyway and I'm glad I did, everything was perfect so wanted to leave a good review.

They contacted me to let me know when my order was coming as there was a couple days delay but that wasn't an issue for me and they were easy to speak to and the order came as advised.

Ordered 2 x (10 lengths at 38x25x2.4m) battens

over 50% cheaper than wickes. £14 delivery. 2 working day delivery. prompt delivery. reccomended

ordered some materials on an express delivery, which should have arrived on 19th December. The tracking info then said the parcel was on its was to Scotland. Parcel then ended up in Scotland. I called to find out what had happened and to chase up materials that were needed by the trades that were booked in. The solution was to purchase the items again and hope they arrived and then when the other parcel arrived send it back!! Original parcel arrived 4 days later than it should have and not all the items were delivered.
Still waiting for a call back from customer services having left numerous messaging asking to escalate this issue.

I ordered £45 worth of materials and paid £12 for 1-2 day delivery.
It took over a week to deliver, when I chased after 3 days they told me their supplier didn't deliver to them. I asked for refund of delivery fee. I have since been ignored then told we let you know it was going to be late (that was when I called then, not them calling me!!). There delay in dispatch / delivery has cost me more in cancelled trades and reorganising work. Joke of a company and will never use again. Jokers obviously market items they do not have and then only ship when they get in. SHAMBLES AVOID THEM

Don't use materials have not turned up after a week and they are not responding

We ordered Forte Lido plus artificial grass from Construction Megastore on Monday afternoon and requested delivery on Thursday 16 May. The people that I spoke to were friendly and helpful and the grass was delivered on Thursday. I was phoned on Wednesday with an estimated time and again on Thursday morning an hour before. The driver was very helpful and friendly.
The price for the grass was extremely competitive, much cheaper than anywhere else for the same product.

My builder asked me on Monday 11/03/24 to order 48 bales of Dritherm slab 32 which was delivered as promised on Wednesday 13/03. After only using only 21 bales it became obvious that builder made an error in the number of bales required. I contacted Leanne/Greg and requested an exchange as needed other materials and without hesitation they were glad to do the exchange where I purchased timber which was again delivered on time yesterday 19/03. They charged a small (£20.00) admin fee for the exchange and a minor delivery charge for the exchange which made my experience with them even more satisfying. Their driver was superb on both occasions. I will be ordering more supplies soon with them without hesitation. Greg and his team are wonderful to deal with :-)
