Horrible craftmanship & No customer care!
First time using Contrado as a business owner for wholesale goods. Ordered a towel set and fleece throw to see how the designs would turn out before ordering bulk. The throw came with the largest QR code and 'Contrado' branding plastered all over the front (horrid), it wasn't cut properly so there were also black cut-lines still on the throw. The towel was fraying, care labels looking like they'd honestly been eaten by mice, loose threads and the binding arrived bright blue when the preview showed a blue-grey (could understand if it was somewhat similar but it was not). I thought no panic, I'll contact them and hopefully they can send replacements for me given how bad they are or else give me a refund and somewhat reassurance this won't reoccur before I place a bulk order. No. I was passed from person-to-person, gaslit, they argued with me back and forth (even though I'd been nothing but polite, provided evidence of all 'previews' shown prior to purchase via their website, and also clear photos of how poor the goods had arrived). In their words, we feel these pass our quality standards (which is concerning) but we'd be happy to send you new care labels to sew on yourself... it was absolutely ridiculous the lack of ownership or customer care. Any reputable company would have had no problem glancing at those images and apologising, for a start. This back and forth lasted 2 weeks, all they offered after this time is 15% refund.. I've given up at this point. Unfortunately for them they've just lost out on bulk orders for retail stores. I've now gone to a competitor company who are nothing but lovely! If you're looking for quality and easy transactions, I wouldn't recommend using this company.

Good Quality, Fast and Efficient
I have had several of my own designs printed by Contrado on fabric and cushions and have always been delighted with the quality of print and product manufacture. I'm also impressed by the speed at which they turn around orders. Would definitely recommend.
Quick, Quality results!
Quick, quality results! super happy that I have contrado to turn to for my clothing brand labels, can always rely on a speedy turn around, I needed desperately over the Christmas period and was shocked how fast they arrived. Do recommend ordering a sample to check colour and font are to your preferred as some text can turn out to narrow, or colours darker once on the fabric.

This is the second experience with the company and I really can’t recommend enough. A really simple system to get personalised fabric for my bar seats.
I was unsure if the image quality was good enough for such a large area and Jeel made sure it was an goid enough resolution and it actually turned out far better than expected also printed and delivered in 3 days. I only wish all companies were this customer focused.
Quality worth every cent!!
Late last year I took a punt with Contrado and put through some bespoke design orders, for some jackets and bath robes.
At the time, I thought I was gambling with a lot of money for an untried product. But Christmas was approaching and I love the design I had created so I thought... why not?
I've got to say, I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE QUALITY OF THE JACKETS and GOWNS!
Each and every item is perfect and to a standard I didn't think I would receive. So, yes, they're worth EVERY CENT I PAID!
Especially with one order where for whatever reason Contrado reached out to say the initial result wasn't to their Quality Control standards and they were having the jacked re-done. This shows me their level of care and quality they put into these bespoke garments.
So, once again, THANK YOU for making my Christmas - it was the best gift (all of them)... great quality and everyone is talking about the jackets. I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE!
I have been using contrado for over 5…
I have been using contrado for over 5 years, the products are great most of the time but the customer service is appalling. Any technical problems are ignored by the imaginary IT team. I have 100s of designs on my account and all of a sudden I am unable to order anything from my account, I have contacted customer service many times over the past four weeks to resolve this issue but they all same the same empty promises and nobody ever responds after ticket numbers are raised. This company do not care about customers or independent artists, I am suspicious as to why a company I spend £1000s with each year don't care about my issue and I am concerned about this company having all of my artwork and designs that I am no longer able to access.
I have been facing this issue for over 5 weeks and contrado contacted me only once after leaving a negative review on 5/12/24 the issue still hasn't been fixed. They only care about negative reviews and themselves. Very Disappointing !!!
Contrado are Emailing me from Bags of love a different company which is very confusing! Might I add you only responded to weeks of me complaining after I left a negative review on here on 5/12/24 the response was on 6th and the problem is still ongoing, this proves that you have not fixed the issue and you only responded when your reputation was questioned!

Dealing well with a problem
I always believe that a true measure of customer service is not a company doing something well, but how they react when something goes wrong. I have used Contrado before, without problem. But on this occasion I couldn't get the photos to fit onto the bag I was designing. I contacted their team, and the person kindly volunteered to do it for me, which was great. However, when I received the bag, in production the top line of photos all had people's heads chopped off. I contacted them again, showed them a photo of the bag, and was initially very disappointed with the response - I could have a 15% refund
I wasn't interested in a refund. I wanted a product I could give someone as a Christmas present. Indeed time was fast running out to have a corrected item produced and delivered in time for Christmas. At this stage a member of staff named Jeel really stepped up to the plate and went the extra mile. She got her bosses to agree to produce the faulty item again free of charge, amended it herself to make sure the original error could be corrected, oversaw the design herself, and then arranged a special delivery to arrive on Christmas Eve. I couldn't be happier with the service, and would now recommend the company to anyone
Excellent fabric
I ordered custom made fabric to make a present for my friend. I anticipated having to tell her she would get her present after Christmas as I left it so late to think of this. I ordered the fabric at 9.10pm on Thursday, then 5 minutes later her husband told me a different photo than the one I had chosen was her favourite so I quickly changed the photo on my order. The fabric arrived today (Saturday) less than 48 hours after placing my order and looks amazing, I will now be able to make her gift on time.

We've used Contrado to produce mugs, tea towels and calendars
We've used Contrado to produce Shakespeare-inspired mugs and tea towels and a local scenes calendar, and we could not be happier with their quality. You can really feel that this is a dedicated family-like firm who go the extra mile and have an actualy human being you can talk to on the phone if needs be. Highly recommended!!

Item arrived very misaligned
Contrado have reached out to reprint the ornaments for me making sure the image is not misaligned. However it is a shame this couldn't have been easily resolved in the first instance.

Used contrado for years, always very reliable and high quality! Recently queried a huge price increase between my orders and was told by the agent to shop elsewhere when I questioned the increase further. Hopefully this is a misunderstanding but it’s made me wary of recommending them :(

Animal print cushion
Animal print cushion took a while because the print quality failed quality control so they reprinted . I had great customer service when I queried the delay and cushion arrived with next day delivery. Overall happy with the product and quality of service I received.
Bad Customer Service
I have had satin labels printed by contrado before and they were fine. I reordered the same labels and the print is totally misaligned and I can’t use them to sew into seams. I have tried and tried to get a resolution and they just say I need to use the labels as they are and re printing wouldn’t solve the problem. I keep asking for a re print or a full refund. I am a small busines. They literally don’t care. I am still waiting for a resolution. Sort it out please Contrado. I am not happy and I would not recommend them based on their terrible Customer Service.
UPDATE and in response, Contrado only sorted it out because I had to keep on and on and on, and contacted them by chat, email and telephone numerous times. They just don’t want to look bad. I will never order from them again
