Great Customer Service when I needed it

Great Customer Service when I needed to return a faulty item for repair. It took a few explanatory emails, but there was good communication and support in resolving my problem. To be fair this was only one simple problem (that was fixed) from multiple orders for products I have had from Contrado. Overall, a great service. Thank you

Okay products, terrible customer service

I initially ordered the All-over-print hoodie and the website was fantastic, making it easy to create the design. However, I ordered the hoodie in the warmer fleece material but this reminded me of a blanket from the 1940's. This product was also missing the professional finish and looked like it had been 'homemade'. After only 6 hours wear, the material was already showing signs that it clearly wasn't suitable for a hoodie, and after a month, it would no longer be suitable for use.

Having contacted their customer service team, I was informed about the fabric information page which provided the option to purchase a sample. This would have been useful to display on the product page which would have saved so much trouble.
The communication from the customer service team was shockingly bad, with replies coming back only within 24 - 48 hours. 2 weeks after initially contacting them, I was still no close to coming up with a solution. The team were very unwilling to offer a refund for the defective product, and would only suggest vouchers.

Having discovered that the hoodie was also available in another material, I decided to purchase a sample of this material first (there wasn't any offer from the CS team to cover the costs of this). The sample looked good, and much more suited to use as a hoodie. I proceeded to purchase the hoodie in the new material, with a 35% discount from the CS team. The new product is so much better, with a clearer, high definition print!

As I have only just received the item, I am unsure on the longevity of the item as it does look like it will quickly show signs of wear, but I am hoping this is not the case.

To sum up, the website is really simple to use but could do with improvements to guide users to important information. The printing and delivery time is fantastic. The products vary greatly on the material chosen, so make sure to research first. The customer service team... well lets just hope that nothing goes wrong with your order!!

The greatest experience from the very beginning!

From the very begining using their great website, designing the perfect size scarf and choosing the detail finishing features, it was all made possible from the personalized support with Riddhi.

She guided me through the entire process starting with a production sample and finishing with detailed instructions.

I have to say the "very best" customer support I have ever had.

Further to my previous review I’m happy…

Further to my previous review I’m happy to say customer services reached out to me following my trust pilot complaint.
The cushion and tea towel were reprinted. The difference in the cushion was huge! My complaints were taken on board and the replacement had black zip with black stitching. The concealed zip cover generous enough to produce a finish you’d expect as quality standard.
It’s a pity my direct contact with Contrado failed to address my issues and it was a poor but honest public review got their attention but it does show their reputation and customer satisfaction is important to them. As it should be. Moving forward I’m not yet sure which company I’ll use for my business but I’m not completely ruling out Contrado now. Just remember to keep tight control on production standards for every single order.

Great print company

Contrado is a great company producing high quality prints. What makes them stand out from the rest is their quick customer service and their user-friendly / customisable website when uploading designs. Contrado are always quick to respond to my queries, I’ve received great assistance from Kajal who always answers my questions and helps me resolve any issues. They also make the effort to follow up with me even after my fabric has been delivered and I am very grateful for that.

Contrado is a company that goes above and beyond to provide their customers with the best service possible. I, for one, have a massive amount of respect for them and their staff who work hard to please their customers, they have a section where you can get large cut off's for free with only postage costs, number one in my book!

What a shame

I loved how easy and userfriendly it is to upload your designs on a Contrado home goods product (ordered by: journeyartanddesign). However, when I received the tea towels and pot holders I was seriously disappointed! They were not cut straight and were super sloppy made!! So, I won‘t be ordering anything again.

Amazing quality!

I have purchased 4 cushion covers with my print, it took a bit time to arrive but the quality was amazing! Soft material, beautiful colors and print quality. I love them! Highly recommend and will definitely purchase from Contrado very soon! Thanks to all the team!

website needs improvement

great prints but their website could be greatly improved, the design interface is stuck in the 90s, why is the screen that you're placing your artwork (AKA the most important part of the whole process) tiny? It's so small that it makes placing and moving artworks basically impossible. Everytime you change the length of the fabric it completely messes up the design meaning you have to do the tedious process all over again.

Useless and Unprofessional

After refusing to refund me saying they would reprint my order I approved the reprint on 9/1. I was then asked on 10/1 if it was approved again...yes.

On 12/1 i got an email saying they were having technical difficulties printing but no timeline on when i would actually receive this replacement.

Again I have requested a refund. This is beyond a joke now.

I ordered a print before Christmas with quick delivery, it arrived on time so i have no complaints there. However when it arrived the fabric was printed incorrectly, with no seamless repeat. Thinking it was my error I checked the preview I got in both my email and my online account, both were absolutely fine so I got in touch with Contrado.

They replied to me on 25/12, telling me it was my fault that the repeat wasn't seamless (despite my preview being correct) but they would replace it for me. Fine, it missed the date I needed it by but not the end of the world.

I waited a few days before emailing requesting an update on when I would receive my replacement fabric. No reply. So I called this morning and was told I would get a reply by email.

Yet again they tried to gaslight me by saying it was my fault the fabric was wrong, the print wasn't a seamless repeat (it is) and that there was an error in the portal (nothing to do with me!) but i needed to recreate my print as a regular tiled repeat instead of a half drop to get the correct result?!?!?

Basically they have rotated my tile 90 degrees, so this is why it wont print seamlessly. But this is apparently my fault EVEN THOUGH THEIR WEBSITE PREVIEW AND MY EMAIL PREVIEW IS CORRECT!

I have requested a refund because I don't appreciate being continually blamed for something that isn't my error, and i won't wasting more time recreating the print because they can't seem to manage the simplest of orders. They are now ignoring me.

Unprofessional customer service. I won't be using them again or recommending to anyone else.

Next day delivery, good-quality and well-sized white fabrics

I’ve recently taken advantage of their free remnants offer (just £5 for p&p).

The parcel delivered had a good mix of different fabric types, different gsm and levels of elasticity. All except one were white though. The remnants were well-sized, most of them were at least twice as big as a fat quarter, which was impressive.

I will consider similar offers and maybe purchasing other fabrics from them in the future.
