CookUnity has been a great time-saver and eliminated the trouble of deciding "what's for dinner" when I get home every evening with fully prepared meals that just need reheating - and the extra service of pickup of the previous week's packaging when the new week's delivery is dropped off puts CookUnity ahead of the other meal services I've tried, where I had to dispose of huge cardboard boxes and gel packs myself. The meals are high-quality and reasonably priced, plus they do run discounts and promos on a fairly regular basis, which is even better! Highly recommended!

First order was delayed multiple times we were told there is issues with their delivery service. They said they would cancel that order and to let us try it again so we did this time the order showed up after another delay. Unfortunately, two boxes showed up the old order and the new order and one of those boxes. All the food was completely melted in. We took pictures through everything in a trash bag and notified, but overall it has been an absolute disaster trying to do business with them.

It’s been a few weeks and although we’ve had some minor issues (check your fish meals for bones) they were very helpful! And the meals have been really good so far

I was really looking forward to this meal service. I wanted to stop using Doordash and also save some time cooking. My experience started out pretty good and then just went downhill. If you read the reviews of the dishes, most are 4 stars or below and almost all have some criticism. Some of the dishes are really bad - like not subjectively bad but toss them in the trash bad. I would think that all the meals should be 5 stars or at least close to it. I found that after 6 weeks, I was only ordering from 3 chefs because their dishes were consistent in taste and quality. But that limited the variety of the meals. As far as delivery, they ask you to return the food bags and ice packs, which I left on my porch prior to the last delivery. The delivery person dumped out the ice bags onto my porch and left. Not the end of the world but I would expect better considering the cost of the service. In the end, it just wasn't worth it.

I was supposed to receive my order at 1pm pdt. They keep extending the eta@ Now it’s 5:38pm! This is unacceptable.

The food is great, but I noticed recently a lot of their dishes that I used to order are now labeled "premium." Premium means you pay extra 2.99 all the way up to 9.99 depending on the dish). I selected seafood and out of 63 I think 2 were regular (meaning you don't have to pay extra). It's really disappointing. Like I said, most of this wasn't premium, seems like this is a recent update.
At this point they're getting too expensive and after the promo I have this month I will be ordering from another food delivery service.

I absolutely love Cook Unity. I first purchased the service as a gift for my niece who was going through a rough time. She raved about the meals so that led me to try them myself.
I have tried other meal services before and have not been happy so I was hesitant but I was happily surprised by the quality and variety of meals that the service provides. They are better than local take out and healthier. Meals come freshly made and last for several days in the fridge. I have even frozen them at times when I was unable to eat them before the use by date.
There are so many options to choose from that my husband and I can each have whatever we want and never get bored. There are options for many different cuisines and types of diets and they are always adding new selections.
These meals are perfect for anyone tired of cooking, too busy to cook every day or looking for some variety.
The cost is reasonable and the portions are plenty. We do occasionally come across a meal that is not to our liking but our favorites go on a list in the app so we know what we liked so we can order again.
Staff has been responsive whenever I have had an issue.
I highly recommend giving it a try.

My wife and I were looking for healthy, quick meals and tried out a few. Cookunity was our favorite and we are now on month three. Save yourself the time and use Cookunity!

Ordering from CookUnity is like going out to dinner every night!! You not only get to choose your meals, but you get to choose your chefs!!

Well, I won't lie, the food is pretty darn good. Especially for nine dollars per meal. But after I cancelled my membership, the next order, which was not cancellable, the prices doubled. Ninety + dollars for four light meals is on the high side. Ok, on the borderline ridiculous side. and quite a shocker. I will miss the meals though, to be honest. Oh, and if you decide to cancel your plan, and are offered a discounted per meal price to stay, do not fall for it.

The packaging, however, is first class AAA exceptional.

One of the easiest and best tasting delivery services I’ve used to date. It’s the only one that’s been worthwhile to download the app for and that I fully anticipate using for months on end.

Cook Unity is a fantastic program. I get to support local chefs in my area, eat fresh meals, get quality restaurant level dishes, all while not having to cook. Love the program excited to see this app flourish. I hope the pricing stays the same incredible value.

This food service is really amazing! I love that it has so many options available. The food is all thoughtfully seasoned and prepared. It has saved me so much time and energy in thinking about what I want to cook each day, making sure it meals my caloric and macronutrient goals, preparing the food and cleaning up after. I've tried several meal kit and fully-prepared food delivery options over the years and I have to say, CookUnity is the best that I've done business with. The weekly menu is so large that the only "problem" I have is deciding which great meals to select (so not a problem). The meals themselves are wonderful and I've never had an issue with quality, portion size, or packaging.

I live outside Boston and we are lucky to have a local CookUnity "kitchen," so my deliveries are by a dedicated courier. And like any service you use, there are problems from time-to-time. With CookUnity I have had very few issues and most are not a big deal (a missing meal or wrong meal here and there...overall rare for me). When I contact them about something not right, they get back to me really quickly with a very fair resolution.

Love CookUnity and I whole-heartedly recommend them!

I have been using Cook Unity meal delivery service for a couple of years now and really like how it saves lots of time and effort on food prep and shopping, and on decision-making time when ordering take out, with much more variety than I could ever pull off cooking for myself. It takes less time to order for one week of food from Cook Unity, than it takes for one shopping trip and dinner prep or ordering for one meal from a new restaurant where I'm unfamiliar with all of the menu choices.

Cook Unity works for me because I love variety and there are so many delicious and healthy meals to choose from every week!

There are meals for every kind of diet and preference, as well as desserts, splurges, and fancier meals.

Sometimes there were issues navigating the app, like it deleted all my choices when I went to change one meal and missed the deadline, or it didn't allow me to confirm my choices before deadline one time, or l couldn't figure out how to change the date of delivery, or they missed picking up reusable bags, but the customer service by email and text is fast and helpful.

They have good discounts, promotions, and credit for referrals, as well as it being easy to skip weeks, pause, or cancel. So it's very flexible and doesn't feel locked into an inescapable subscription.

I also like how the delivery bag and ice packs are reusable and not like other meal delivery services that have boxes and packing that goes into trash or recycling.

Until I have more time to cook for myself, I will be enjoying Cook Unity!

Cook Unity has been completely life changing for me. I work days and nights, and my schedule is so unpredictable that cooking was a hassle for me and I'd often resort to unhealthy takeout. Once I found CU, I never left! I always have food waiting for me in the fridge. The variety is INSANE, truly something for everyone. Not to mention, their service team is the best, delivery is always prompt, the food is packaged in reusable bags with heavy duty ice packs, and the food never spoils before I eat it. I truly can not say enough positive things about this company. Highly recommend!!
