I bought an air coditioner/heat pump unit, very fast drlivery snd very compeditive price. Unfortunatly a fault devoloped and the german manufacturers would not deal with me and told me to contact my supplier. This i did and cooleasy handked the claim and within a short time a new unit was sent from the factory. I cannot praise them enough

I was a little apprehensive about…

I was a little apprehensive about ordering from this company as I had not heard of them before. I hit the bullet and ordered 2 electric heaters from them mainly due t o the fact that they were offering the best price online. The heaters arrived very quickly, well packed and exactly as described. I am very happy with the heaters and would recommend you give them a try.

Lux Air Portable Air Con Unit

Purchased a free standing portable air con unit from the Kenfig Branch. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff we dealt with, we explained what our issue was and what we wanted and they suggested the best solution,, item was in stock so we were able to take away on the day once the team loaded into my transport.

Retirement Project

As a retired engineer I was looking for a project and was surprised at how quickly I finished it. From discussions with a very friendly help line, delivered in one day and up and running in 4 days. Getting hold of a hole cutter was the biggest holdup; but after that plain sailing. Have already had requests for information from friends and wholeheartedly recommend this system. After 10 years still going strong.

Service was amazing and a great company to buy from. Customer service was friendly and polite and product knowledge was superb.
Does exactly what it says. Cools the room down quickly and efficiently. Not too noisy and has lots of different settings. Helped us in the recent heatwave with our British bulldog! Will definitely use again.

A/C unit

Bought this unit as I wanted 1 to cool my whole house not just 1 room it works perfectly for my needs, I ordered it after the cut-off for next day delivery but still came next day what more can you ask for plus I like supporting local businesses rather than big organisations I would recommend cooleasy 100%

Fast service, cracking cooling

Fast service. Great tracking. The machine is excellent. I have it running 24/7 in 75%+ humidity around 28c.
The machine produces 30ltrs of water a day and whatever temp is set is reached.

AVOID

AVOID: If you live outside Wales, avoid Cooleasy. Returning a large appliance cost me hundreds in courier quotes, with no help from the company, even though I cancelled within the legal 14-day period. Delivery is easy, but returns are a nightmare.

Bad customer service/Delayed delivery

Bad customer service. Communication is very poor. Unhelpful. Not supportive. They avoid doing work and try to brush you off. Very frustrating. If I can give them a - 1 I would. Ridiculous!

Warranty not honoured Ordered air conditioning unit from this company and it developed a fault within 12 months company ignored me and did not honour the warranty if you know the unit was only eight months old this company is a bag of manure keep away you've been warned And the phone lines don't work and they do not reply to any emails

I will never go near them again

I have dealt with this company twice before.

The first time in 2019 was great. They recommended a unit and it was more efficient - a caster broke but a replacement was sent out promptly.

It seems things go okay when they're easy. The problems arise when something non-trivial happens:

Replacing that unit when it broke around September has been a nightmare.

I purchased the same model again, what arrived has a different refrigerant (propane - which is highly flammable) and has "tropical edition" in big bold letters on the box.

The response I got "we didn't say it wasn't tropical". Genuinely via emails. If the seller was in say Brazil that might make sense - not here.

This went in circles for a while. Every fact that could be disputed was, it was like talking to a wall. That tropical versions exist was disputed. That the refrigerant changed was disputed - literally everything. It was incredibly stressful.

After speaking to citizen's advice it was a letter before court claim I got a little bit of leeway out of "if you return it we'll give you a full refund" - this is progress. This is also very difficult to do for an item that weighs 35kg when you don't drive and contains propane (that put couriers off).

It was also claimed they have evidence from the manufacturer about why it couldn't be a tropical unit, this was not forthcoming.

Whether they would have honoured that I don't know but by this point all trust had broken down and I paid the fee for the small claim's court. Each step was as dragged out as the last with responses a day before the deadline.

This experience has cost me £120 (£50 + £70 for the small claims court fee) with this big thing stuck here for what 3 months now?

I hope this warns someone off.

Horrible company to deal with

Horrible company to deal with. Even though I asked their recommended F gas engineer to commission the unit I installed myself he didn’t turn up and since no one else will touch a self-installed system I was forced to test for leaks and then switch it on. All good. Worked fine for a year. Then it conked out. Replaced PCB board but no effect still blowing normal air. So it has to be the compressor. I asked for a goodwill gesture and for Cooleasy to still fulfil their 5 year guarantee. The answer was a firm NO. If you do install it yourself don’t expect these cowboys to provide any kind of useful customer support or care. I think it’s a small cowboyish outfit who are out to make a quick buck. They order from God knows where and then drop you in it if it goes wrong. I doubt very much the would have replaced the unit even if I did get an F gas engineer. Very bad stay clear.
