Absolute joke of a business!
They claim in all their responses on here that they had high demand on the run up to Christmas!
Placed an order on 3rd December! Still waiting for it! They Christmas gifts! What company takes a month and a half to send some snacks!
Absolutely no response from customer service team either!
Wish I had checked the reviews first!

If I could give no star I would. DO NOT USE THIS COMPNY they are crooks and completely not interested in any kind of customer service or satisfaction.
Order placed for one product on 8th December, never received the order! Emailed customer service multiple times between 28 December and 15th January with one response on 16tj Han to say they had just dispatched the order which was clearly far too late as it was a Christmas present and well past the ‘up to 14 days delivery’ they promised.
38 days after the order was placed it was dispatched, even after multiple requests to refund the order and forget it!
But no, they dispatched ‘an’ order anyway! Wasn’t what I ordered at all!
They couldn’t even get the order right!
So here I am, with some gross flavoured good that I didn’t order, and customer services refusing to help!
Well all I can say is AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS’ unless you have money to burn and enjoy a lottery as to whether your order will be fulfilled or not!

I placed an order on the 23rd of December 2025, no communication at all, emailed on the 13th of January 2026, 6 days later still no communication, I am afraid if this is the norm you will not be in business long, I will not be ordering from this company again!!
Update following the response from Cool Hog on this review, I complained regarding the Jar I had received:
I am also very disappointed that the site where you browse your products (Including the description) implies I would receive the product in a jar (Including the picture of the product, showing a glass jar) and not a plastic container, the biggest selling point for me was that the product was in a glass jar, it must be clear the product will not be supplied in a glass jar, rather a plastic container!

I understand your point regarding the wording and imagery used on the product page, and I’m sorry for any confusion caused. We’re reviewing our product pictures and descriptions to make this clearer, and the jar products have now been marked as out of stock while this is being addressed.
Everything is still the same, the following day I tried to add the Jar to my basket with success, so what I was told in an email was a lie!!!!!!! Well done Cool Hog.............great customer service!!!!!!

My husband ordered a 1kg jar of original pork scratchings from Cool Hog Snacks as a Christmas present for my father. Not only was the order massively delayed, it wasn’t delivered until the 9th of January 2026, which already made it unacceptable as a Christmas gift.
When we finally opened the jar, the disappointment got worse. The jar was tiny and nowhere near 1kg — there is absolutely no way the contents matched what was advertised. What we received was a small amount of scratchings that definitely were not worth the hefty price we paid.
The customer service was awful. I contacted them to raise the issue and received one email back asking for photos — which I had already included in my first email. I sent the photos again anyway, and since then there has been no response at all. No explanation, no refund, no resolution.
Between the extreme delivery delay, misleading product size, poor value for money, and complete lack of customer service, this has been a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend Cool Hog Snacks and will not be ordering again

I placed an order on December 15 for what I hoped would be Christmas hamper gifts. Unfortunately, the entire process turned out to be a frustrating and costly mistake. At the time of ordering, the website provided no information about delivery times. It was only after completing the checkout that I received an automated email revealing lead times could extend up to 14 days during busy periods. This email also included a tracking link requiring the installation of a third-party app, which felt more like an advertising tool than a reliable tracking system.
Despite waiting the full 14 days, I knew the items wouldn’t arrive in time for Christmas. By January 7, I contacted Cool Hog for an update. They responded promptly, apologizing for the delay caused by the unavailability of one of the flavours (Maple) in my bundle. I was offered two options: ship the available items (Original and Salt & Vinegar) with a refund for the missing flavour, or choose an alternative flavour to complete the bundle. Since Christmas had already passed, I requested a full refund.
What followed was complete silence. On January 9, I reached out again for an update and was told my refund request had been escalated to management, with a promise of resolution within 72 hours. I waited, contacted them again, and received no response. After another 72 hours, I repeated my request—still nothing.
On January 14, I received an email informing me that my order was on its way. At this point, I had lost patience and motivation to challenge Cool Hog further, knowing my efforts would likely be met with more silence. I reluctantly accepted the delivery.
The package finally arrived on January 16, a full month after my order. To my disappointment, I didn’t receive what I originally ordered. Instead, I received two packs of Original and one pack of Salt & Vinegar, with the second Original pack clearly substituting the unavailable Maple flavour. Out of curiosity, I tried the Salt & Vinegar flavour—it is awful. The vinegar is overpowering, and the pack contains large chunks of flavouring powder resembling sugar lumps.
In total, I wasted £45, including postage and packaging. The entire experience was a disaster, and the only positive outcome is this review warning others to steer clear of Cool Hog. Save yourself the frustration and money—

Again like most. Ordered December 1st with 2-3 days delivery and paid extra for shipaid!! Did not arrive so emailed. Was sent an update confirming a guarantee it would be here for Xmas. On the 23rd emailed again to ask for an update and that if they had not been sent I would prefer a refund. Then nothing. Emailed again on 6th January with no correspondence. Then boom they turned up at my door on the Jan 13th. Then emailed the day after to say on their end it says delivered!! Shocking service.

Took 2 days off of a month to come, ordered on the 17th of December, received on the 15th of January, emailed twice throughout the time as there was no tracking info and had no reply, ordered the dad bundle with 2 pork scratchings and a fudge, 3 pork scratchings came instead in a flavour that my dad doesn’t like, wouldn’t order again
