The package arrived three dayslate because the French do not deliver Saturday or Sunday. And the other issue was the local payment of the French duties fees for the package 📦 that should be charged to the sender and not the recipient.

A gift package was shipped using coolparcel (via UPS). The recipient of the gift had to pay 50 euros for the gift which was only valued at $73. In the past when I would go to the post office, recipient of the gift did not have to pay anything.

It may have happened anyway but the package was stolen after delivery- within 5 minutes of being dropped off. I should have gone to physical UPS office and gotten recommendations re insurance etc.
