From these two original thoughts came the main desire to form Coolshop back in 2003. This was to become the foundation for what is Denmark's largest and now one of Europe’s fasting growing online video game and accessories stores.

Mark one of the co-founders said “if we are big enough, then we can buy in such large quantities that we can skip over several links in the supply chain, thereby achieving significant savings”. Mark was of course right in letting this idea form the backbone of the business. So, since this day we have formed and built on the philosophy, we choose to call The Magic Five Points:

“We would be best on price, service, information, security and selection.” It was therefore natural to choose the Internet as a platform to sell games as this allowed us to offer our lower prices to a much larger and wider audience. Indeed, Coolshop holds over 200,000 games which are ready to dispatch the same day they are ordered.

The Internet has also given us the opportunity to provide more detailed information on our products. From the outset we decided to offer trailers and videos across the entire product range to enhance the shopping experience. We wanted to make shopping with Coolshop easy, fun and informative – most importantly we didn’t just want the experience to be like reading the back of a box in a shop!

Two of the Magic Five Points are service and security. How could we give the user the same comfort as in a normal shop where an assistant is always nearby to lend assistance? Normally it can take days to get the answer to an inquiry via e-mail. The answer was chatting directly with an employee without delay or queue; so we introduced our Live Chat Service. We have built a professional and friendly support team chatting every week with thousands of customers. With a large database of happy customers to back this up - this really is something which has proved to be a great success!

False delivery timelines and no ability to contact

TLDR:
The company advertise false delivery estimates and they do not respond to customer emails for 3 - 5 business days. If you need your product within the timeframe they provide, DO NOT ORDER. If you need them to respond to a query WRITE A BAD REVIEW HERE.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This is a scam.
The product I ordered was advertised with a 5 -7 working day delivery estimate. After 7 working days the item has still not been delivered to the courier. I wrote to follow up and got an auto reply that it takes 3 -5 business days for them to reply.
This is a scam. False advertising of delivery and no ability to contact. I have no evidence that the item is on its way. Do not believe the advertised delivery time. It’s false. Avoid this business.
UPDATE:
After writing this review suddenly the package was handed in to the courier company and it is scheduled to be delivered this Monday, 9 working days from when I ordered it. And I think this may be the case only because I wrote this bad review. SO IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR A LATE DELIVERY AND YOU HAVE RECEIVED NO INFORMATION OR RESPONSE, COMPLAIN HERE.
Yes, I know deliveries can be delayed, particularly at this time of year, but I think it’s a strategy to advertise false delivery estimates. And count on most people not asking for a refund, or when the waiting customer finally decides to write to chase up any information about their missing package, they find that emails are not responded to for 3 - 5 business days. There should be a better way than for Coolshop to respond only to public complaints and not reply to polite emails to “customer service”. There are other companies that are very clear about delivery timelines and expectations at the checkout, so as a customer your expectations are reasonable - “this item will not be delivered until X at the soonest” for example. I think this practice of providing optimistic delivery estimates that are missed needs to stop. And the company should respond within a good time through the avenues provided, not a chatbot, not through review websites, just through their own channels.

High Delivery Time....

At the time of purchase they state delivery in 2 to 5 business days.
They also state that purchases made on Mondays before 4 PM will be shipped the same day.
This is not true, I made my purchase on December 7th, 2025 and as of today, December 11th, 2025, my product has still not been shipped.
Don't believe the dates they give you....

I ordered perfume

I ordered perfume, and after the package arrived, the product was significantly different from my expectations. I made a return according to the guidelines provided in the form generated by Coolshop. The return shipment arrived at the return address (in this case, Germany), but after a week, I didn't receive any information. After contacting the seller, it turned out that the package had to be sent from Germany to Denmark because their main warehouse is located there, and the refund could take up to six weeks. Returning to the product, it's not for me to judge, but I immediately purchased the same perfume from the official store of a well-known brand, and the difference in the product is glaring.
I do not recommend this store due to the sale of questionable products and for misleading customers regarding product returns.

Our return address is located in Germany, but all returned items must be forwarded to our main warehouse in Denmark before we can complete the case and issue a refund. Worst shopping experience ever

WARNING! If you are buying a gift, steer clear of this seller. I placed an order for perfume on November 14th—a gift that never arrived. Attempts to reach the store? Three times, zero reply. This is a scandalous lack of respect for the customer and their time. By buying here, you risk non-delivery and the certainty of being completely ignored if problems arise.

*they finally returned my money, so if you find yourself in similar situation you know what to do.

Magnatiles competitively priced

I bought 2 castle sets of Magnatiles that were quite a bit below RRP (£37 instead of £50)…so, competitive prices and pretty quick delivery, given that Christmas is a-coming.
