Co-op funeral care in Middleton ..this…
Co-op funeral care in Middleton ..this company ( was Johnson's brothers ) arranged my dads nearly 26 years ago and were brilliant then ..I did not collect the ashes at the time as did not know what to do with them ..call last week just to see where they had been scattered to find that they still had him there ..Terri could not have been more helpful helping to obtain the ashes ..so a massive thank you ..I now have dad and am planning to arrange a place a the memorial garden x

Fantastic Service.
My experience was very good at the Co-op Funeral office, the staff are extremely polite and professional & helpful, I have purchased my simple cremation plan and the price is the lowest I have seen anywhere, it's nice to know that at the Co-op unlike many other companies that they do not rip you off & now I can be happy that when the day comes all will be sorted out professionally, Thank You. Ps, I would thoroughly recommend the Co-op to everyone.

Very easy to make an appointment. On line services very informative so we were to make a decision before the appointment. During the appointment very informative, went through everything so we had a good understanding of what we were actually getting. Decision made, funeral arranged and paid for withing 40 minutes.

I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with my Mum and more recently my wife’s funeral. On both occasions Monica who works in the Bexleyheath branch has been my contact. Nothing is to much for this lovely lady and she has has given me so much support and warmth through this journey

Stress Free Service
My first experience of the service provided was in January 2026 when my dear wife passed away. At all stages I was treated with the greatest respect and provided with helpful information and direction. My treatment led me back to establish my own Funeral Care Plan which was arranged with the same efficiency.

Every time I call through to the number on their emails, I get as far as the options to choose 1 or 2 for non-member or member. Whichever one I press, it comes back to the same message and options. Frustrating when you're trying to spend money with them.

1. Contact your local funeral home and speak to a member of the team. To find your local branch, visit coop.co.uk/funeralcare/funeral-directors
2. Request a call back. Visit coop.co.uk/funeralcare/contact-us and you'll find the option to request a call back from us there. That will also mean that you're no longer having the issue with the recorded message which you've faced previously.
