Beautiful apartment with stunning views. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Bonus of a back garden for drying beach towels and the kids to play safely. Definitely recommend.

Easy safe booking experience everything as described

The Linney is one of seven beautiful stone cottages overlooking a beautiful valley which is breathtaking.
It is equipped with everything, and more, you would need for a comfortable stay.
We had our own EV charging point which was so convenient.
It is within easy reach of all the major coastal destinations and there are also some lovely National Trust sites only a stones throw away.
On arrival we were greeted with a lovely Cornish cream tea, chocolate goodies and even coffee pods for the machine and fresh milk in the refrigerator-what more could you want.
There was also a log burner ready with everything we needed for a nice cosy evening should we need it.
The owners Jane and Ian are warm and wonderful people and nothing is too much trouble, and have got a wealth of information on the surrounding areas.
We will definitely be returning to Penrose Burden Cottages, such a beautiful place to kick back and relax.
We will be highly recommending them to family and friends.

This truly has THE most incredible view. From a beautifully kept garden below, across the bay and all the way up the west coast on a clear day.

We have booked our summer and winter holidays with Cornish Horizons for over 15 years. They have always had a policy - like other rental companies in the area - to offer the existing booker the option to book the same property and the same time for the following year. This year they no longer employed this policy WITHOUT LETTING ANY OF THE EXISTING BOOKERS KNOW. And as a result we have now missed out on booking the property we have booked with friends for over 10 years. The price of the property has also gone up by over 100% in the last 4 years. Although inflation is high in the UK, I'm not sure it's running at 100%. Cornish Horizons have offered no apology or any attempt to make up for the huge disappointment. The people working on the phones are responsive, polite and good at their jobs - it is not their fault. But somewhere along the chain the business forgot to communicate to their most important stakeholder - the consumer - and as a result we have lost all our trust in what once was a favoured brand. I am only sharing this on TrustPilot because I had a generic email from Cornish Horizons asking for feedback on this link - that shows their lack of awareness of their customer and experience.

Property booked for one week at Kernyk, Constantine Bay, over priced for what was basically an annexe to the owners house with very little privacy. The reality of the Property does not match the photos listed on Cornish Horizons’ website. The property had a strong musty smell throughout. Owner’s lounge has direct access to the annexe via a locked door. Garden is next to the car parking area and we were advised to take our dog off the property for toilet breaks (despite the listing stating it had an enclosed garden and pets welcome). We left after two nights as we started to get dust mite bites from the sofa and found the musty smell overwhelming. Found alternative accommodation half an hour away in excellent condition via Airbnb. Cornish Horizons have not yet acknowledged my complaint about the property submitted Aug 1st.

We had the most amazing stay, the cottage was beautiful and every need catered for. The cottage was incredibly we stocked with everything you needed from cooking oil to cleaning materials, from dvds to games, from hair dryers to bin bags! The beds were really comfortable and the cottage was perfect for us, my children and the grandparent as it is all on one level. We will definitely be back!

Great central location. 5 mins to shops & bars. 15 mins to Fistral beach. Just be prepared for uphill walk home. Clean and comfortable facilities, brilliant shower and lovely to have balcony space just about a sea view.

Very good communication via email through original cottages, able to spread cost over several months which was good.
Cottage location was fabulous and we had a really lovely time.

A very happy experience with Original Cottages which I believe are part of this group. We were kept very well informed about our holiday via email and text. The accommodation we booked was superb and exactly as described. No fuss or difficulties at all.

Immaculate cottage. Beautiful well kept garden and pool. Welcoming owners but very respectful of privacy. Very near to amazing beaches, harbours and local attractions. Would highly recommend.

An absolutely marvellous property.
Quiet and luxurious.
Everything in the property you need.
Lovely village shop a stones throw away. Nearest beach a lovely 1.2 mile walk (if you don't mind walking/down and up hill)
Loads to do within a 5 mile radius.

Lovely house close to centre back of Porthleven. Well equipped. Clean and with comfortable beds.

Great place amazing for children and dogs a very private garden with the beautiful harbour were you can get everything you need . would 100 % recommend this place it like gem hidden away we will be back next year .

Owner needs to get his address right! no privacy at the patio door or lounge window. For the price I would have expected wardrobes not a hang rail with no other storage except under the beds!

Location of the property was very good as was the cleanliness But needs a new kitchen.

Easy to contact lovely accommodation would stay again weather not very good but still a great holiday
