My partner has been following The Cornish Italians social media for a while and we finally made a visit on Friday 25th August. Lovely little spot and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. I am not a fan of Carbonara usually when eating out as I find it quite bland. However as we did our usual and order different dishes so we could share - I opted for the mascarpone and sun dried tomato dish. Tiramisu for pudding was out of this World. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Celebrating GCSE results tonight. Delicious food - honest prices. Love the venue. Great ingredients. Friendly staff and no expensive sting for being in Cornwall in the summer - will happily return. Arrabiata sauce was wonderful and olive bread a treat. Thank you.

Great atmosphere and delicious food, I like that it's so relaxed and informal and even though the restaurant was very busy the service was excellent and we didn't have to wait too long. We had the homemade cinnamon buns and baklava for pudding - YUM!!! Only tiny thing I would mention is that I love freshly ground black pepper on (virtually) everything and would have loved a pepper mill on the table. We will definitely eat at the Cornish Italian again, it's a winner!!

Absolutely delicious authentic Italian food, and the place is so relaxed but full of character. Service was great too! Takeaway or eat in, there’s plenty of delicious pasta choices on the menu. The puddings were also really really good, tasted like I was back in Italy!

Finally made it over to The Cornish Italian this evening after many months of drooling over Instagram… was not disappointed! Ugo was super friendly and welcoming to our family, and the food was incredible. Already planning our next trip!

Visited the new street food trattoria at Chenoweth on The Roseland. A brilliant concept and the food was perfect. The most reasonably priced meal we had in Cornwall all week too. Really good portions of high quality Italian food. We also popped in for breakfast and coffee which did not disappoint. Apart from the food, the welcome is so warm and friendly. Cannot wait to go back. Need to try the lasagne next time!

Absolutely incredible carbonara at the Falmouth food Festival! Don't even get me started on the tiramisu with the creamiest filling and such a generous portion. Well done to the amazing Ugo and the familia!

Visited the Cornish Italian at the Falmouth Food Festival, great food, great service, a real taste of Italy. Will keep a track on where The Trattoria on Wheels is next trading from, Well done to Ugo and the family.

I honestly could not recommend The Cornish Italian more. We recently booked Ugo as a private chef for the first night of my best friend's hen do in Newquay. It could not have gone better. Ugo was so helpful and accommodating right from the start of the booking. There was such flexibility for meal choices including vegetarian and vegan options, Ugo was easy to get in touch with and I knew immediately the evening would go well.

The night itself was the best night of the hen do and that was certainly thanks to The Cornish Italian. We had incredible food from start to finish, it was so relaxing arriving and not having to worry about cooking and Ugo is just the loveliest person. If you are thinking of booking... do it you certainly will not regret it!

The most amazing take away I have EVER had. That was mitchelin quality food in a take away! We will definitely be back!

“Grazie Mille!” Myself and my daughters visited for the first time this evening on our way back from Truro 🤺 and oh my! The pasta was the best we have ever tasted and the tiramisu was sooooo good! We all enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to visit again 😃

Absolutely amazing! Drove from Plymouth to eat here. The Ragu is incredible which I had with tagliatelle and the crab and mascarpone dish (which i had with lemon butter) was phenomenal. Also the best tiramisu I've ever had! Can't wait to eat here again. Very friendly and welcoming, it's a must try!!

For three years we have had Ugo’s meals for every family occasion and prefer them to a restaurant. It is more private, plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters and less expensive. Our Italian daughter says it’s a typical family meal cooked by Mamma. The tiramisu is the best ever.

Excellent tasting well flavoured four dishes we ordered.
Delivery was very good from place of order in a well packaged box.

Simple fresh homemade food that is full of taste and Ugo always greets us with a smile and makes us feel welcome, simply the best.
