A £50 charge just to change my address on the policy plus £22 to move 4 miles down the road. How can they possibly justify that!

Cornmarket are always brilliant to deal with. The agents are always friendly and not at all rushed or pushy. They always call back when arranged and I have been happy to renew with them for several years.

Another years insurance sorted out in minutes! This is a local company, staffed by actual local people, there is no language barrier, they talk just like us! A simple phone call no interpreter needed! I went straight to this company for my car insurance, because of the lack of complications they understand our accents!

Was recommended by a friend. This was a painless, straightforward and professional interaction with the staff member, would that every sales experience were similar!! Plus, saved appreciable amount.

I've not had any direct interaction with this company beyond taking out car insurance online and the subsequent policy emails. The process was straightforward though and the premium was competitive.

Cornmarket has provided a very competitive premium quote with excellent cover and lower excesses. It has been very straightforward to put cover in place and their communication has been excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent service new company to us as we had been with our previous company a number of years but unfortunately I am going to guess hard times had hit as for us all. Very accommodating and understanding In addition to the car insurance I also had break down cover as an addition to the policy however I had not realised my new car came with 1 years breakdown cover included.When I contacted Cornmarket they immediately returned the extra premium money to me.Tells me a lot about the integerity of this company would not hesitate to recommend them

Cornmarket and lemonade immediately took control of my claim and started the wheels in motion to bring my claim to a positive conclusion. Itwas only when AX were brought into arrange repair and provide a replacement car that this went wrong. after fotnight of inaction on AX behalf the I was unformed the AX were nolonger prepared to continue to take on my cliam the Conmarket and the company stepped in and arrange for anothwer company Invictus to take on AX's rolethat progress with my claim began to move forward at a pace and was soon completed and my repaired car was returned to me in pristine . I have nothing but sincere thank and praise for the professional way theyhandle my claim .The least said about AX the way theyfailed to progress my claim the better

Competitive insurance for a high performance vehicle when my own insurance company were unable to quote me.

As a broker the company charges excessive amounts for the most elementary administration of a UK motor insurance policy, such as £50 for a mid-term cancellation of a policy, which in my case wiped out the refund credited to me by the insurer. Communication concerning the administration charge was very poor and response time was extremely slow. The company also demanded payment of a further charge that contractually they were not entitled to receive. No apology was made for the error.

Shortly after taking out an car insurance with Cornmarket they send us an email referencing an attachment in their email. Did not have time to review the attachment as the email did not come across as urgent. I did see it but assumed it was some policy info or marketing as we just took out the insurance. Unfortunately the attachment informed us they had cancelled our policy without explaining why. Now without insurance and after calling their reason was someone mistakenly reported a car claim we never made + one (non-fault) going several years back we mistakenly did not include. When trying to sort it out, the customer service person misquoted the email claiming it was fully explained (forgot to say it was in the attachment) and was very rude when I attempted to explain. He made it clear it was entirely my fault and the general tone suggested he thought it was something we had deliberately done and had no sympathy for what was an honest mistake and possibly a fraudulent accident report.

‘BE AWARE of SCAMMING TACTICS’

On moving home just half way through my policy year and updating them with my new address ‘CORNMARKET Car insurance company (who also alerts their underwriters) quoted me admin fees of £63.98..!!!!!

Unbelievable and scandalous and I ‘WARN’ any future customers to ‘BEWARE’ of their robbing money tactics.

As like all companies, they will mention the ‘small writing’ clauses in their policy as a way of ‘justifying’ their day light robbery costs! AVOID this company if possible. It would appear that all other Government depts re changes of address are ‘FREE’ but not this insurance company.
