I normally don’t write negative reviews, but my experience with Corporate Housing by Owner deserves to be shared so others can make an informed decision. I paid $500 for their service and received virtually nothing in return. In 60 days, only two people contacted me—and neither showed any real interest. After that, complete silence.

Given the lack of activity, I requested a refund. Their response was simply, “We don’t give refunds,” without any consideration for the fact that their service produced zero results. You would expect a professional organization to stand behind the value of their platform or, at minimum, offer a monthly payment option so customers aren’t locked into a full year. But it’s very clear why they charge everything upfront: once you see the lack of traction, they already have your money.

$500 is a high price to pay for no leads, no meaningful support, and no accountability.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service to anyone. There are better platforms out there that actually generate inquiries and value for property owners.

Told me they had lots of people looking for rentals in my area. Had all kinds of connections etc. In 5 months not one single inquiry to rent my house. I can't believe I gave them 399.00 to advertise with them. What a rip off!

I've worked with CHBO and they are a fantastic company!

This is a great company! I have worked for CHBO for 10 years and I love going to work every day. Prior to coming on board I worked for a corporate housing provider who worked with CHBO. I liked that I could pick up the phone and speak with an actual human if I had a question or needed assistance. The entire CHBO team is experienced in mid term corporate housing and here to guide both owners and renters. This is my favorite part of the job!

I have found CHBO to be efficient, quality-oriented, and trustworthy. The property listing format is informative and user-friendly, and I love that someone is available 24/7 via the after-hours chat team. It makes all the difference to me knowing that CHBO has been around successfully since 2005! Longevity like this in a world of overnight pop-up companies is rare and speaks volumes to their dedication and commitment to excellent service.

Our company has used CHBO for locating housing for many of our professional employees and all have had nothing but praise for every one of the properties we have leased from them. We highly recommend CHBO.

Ridiculously scammy business. You pay $399 to share on their site but get nothing from it. Your posting will "say" it has had thousands of views, but I genuinely believe these are views from coming directly from CHBO, not legitimate prospects. It's odd that the other sites I've posted to get views AND responses AND questions/ interest from actually people, but nothing at all through the CBHO sites, when my home supposedly has thousands of views.

Horrible customer service. Kirk Holliman is an absolute disgrace of a human. Rude, condescending, and unreasonable.

Great company! I've really enjoyed working with them.
