Highly recommend this business! I'd spent ages looking for some specific models I needed for my DND campaign, and luckily found them in stock here. My last review for Cosmic Toys was from when I visited in 2022. I found the experience so enjoyable that I am now a regular - sorry for wearing the carpet out, Gareth lol

On my latest visit Gareth talked me through the process of model painting, and advised on which colours and paint types would be best. He even returned one of the pots to the rack saying it wasn't needed. 5 out of 5 for customer care and customer service right there!

Gareth will also set things aside for me to pay and pick-up at a later date. I try my best to have a budget in mind when at Cosmic Toys so being able to do this is a great help.

The atmosphere in the shop is very welcoming and it's always great to meet new people and learn of their interests and hobbies.

If you're into collecting then you owe yourself a visit to Cosmic Toys!

On hearing that some negative reviews had been left here I felt the need to leap to G's defence. Shops like this are by their nature a rarity and often run single handed by individuals who are both passionate and deeply knowledgeable - as G is. G provides a level of service that is uniquely personal and it's the sort of shop where everyone talks to everyone else. If you have issues, do please talk to the man and expect honesty - he's a Yorkshireman! I have bought from G a number of times and not been disappointed, and often been offered a deal and a cup of tea. Do please support your local high street.

Great experience! I’m usually not one to order from an unheard of site but they were one of the only stores to stock a Godzilla graphic novel I’ve been looking for.

Came super quick , very well packed and was in great condition!

That last 1 star review did worry me but clearly they were a bit entitled and got as good as they gave when being rude to the staff!

I visited here for the first time with my wife and daughter on 15/04/2023 despite having lived near the area for years. Can't believe I've been missing out on this place! It's like an Aladdin's cave of awesome treasure and the people there are so kind and welcoming. Left with a bunch of Warhammer stuff for me and Pokemon toys for the little one feeling very satisfied. The owner was incredibly helpful and welcoming even making sure we had the right type of Nintendo Switch for a game we were looking for so it would be playable - just a nice touch that shows they care about their customers. The prices are also very good - I nearly fell over when he told me how cheap he was selling one particular model (I'm not saying what it is in case I want it).

If you're ever anywhere near the area then I implore you to pay them a visit.

Been going to this store years now, filled with a assortment of different toys and figures some new, some old, some retro.

Plus theres a life size darlek whats not to miss.

The owner will go out of his way to order you items in, and my motto is if you order it buy it dont just assume you can change your mind last min, dont bring the hassle if you dont want it dont order it.

I've not seen any bad experiences here in my local shop but I'm sure some people stroll in not really grasping what they came for but ask the owner and he will explain the wears.

Cant fault the shop.

As a collector and part time reviewer it's super convenient to have a retailer on my doorstep that I can go to, to pick my stuff up from. Cosmic Toys has always supplied me with my Black Series figures and today's pick ups are welcome additions.

One of the best toy shops in the UK and definitely the best in Yorkshire.
Absolutely packed with all the toys you will ever need and the owner is very knowledgeable.
You will spend hours here.

What can I say about Cosmic Toys in Dewsbury? I’ve been visiting this shop for about 3 years, it was after a google search of Marvel Legends and toy shops in general. Toy shops seem to be a thing of the past, and finding rare or new figures outside of the internet can be daunting. What strikes you as you walk in the shop is that there’s something for everyone. There’s cabinets and shelves full of collectibles. It’s two floors of modern rare and vintage toys, with the older items on the second floor. My advice would be to pay for a couple of hours parking because there’s so much to see, there’s even collections of original Star Wars and vintage action force. The owner Gareth, is well versed and very knowledgable about the items he has. It’s a wonderful shop, and it’s a joy to visit.

A fantastic store and one of the best figure/ collectable/ memorabilia shops around. Extremely friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable owner. Pleasure to visit. Absolutely would recommend!

Awful atmosphere in the shop. The owner obviously doesn't want to sell anything as he is really rude. I needed a specific item so I had to get it from here so begrudgingly I bought it. I live in Dewsbury and collect toys but my first purchase here will also be my last.

Been to Cosmic Toys quite a few times over the years, great item's, price's, customer service. The shop is large, has plenty inside, stocking comics and books also. Gareth positively adds to the collecting experience and understands what his customers want, it doesn't just feel like a business, it feels more about Gareth wanting to get it right for everyone, hope he goes from strength to strength, thank you Cosmic Toys! 😃

Quick delivery on a Pre owned Transformer and the condition of it was better than I could have ever expected. Feels like it's new out of the box. Will definitely use again.
