I'm new to CPD and have only placed two orders so far. I like the cost of the drugs, but I'm not satisfied with the shipping time. It seems to take 3-4 days to print the shipping label, and then another 2 days to actually ship the package. I may update my review to one star later.

I tried to get on the website to start getting meds from this company. It ask if you have any health issues and when you say yes and proceed to input that info the website does nothing. Its as if the computer freezes and will not move. I tried this on my cell phone as well as a desktop. So you hit the little icon for help and you get a BOT that has no clue what you are talking about. THERE IS NO WAY TO GET A REAL PERSON !!!!!! But if you say no you have no health issues it will let you get further... If you had no health issues you wouldn't be getting medications!!!!! This sounded to good to be true and I do believe that it is not what it claims to be.
Fraudulent company--DO NOT USE
Cost Plus Drugs took my money and never sent the medication. As everyone knows, it's impossible to communicate with an actual person and emails elicit only a completely irrelevant canned response.
Prescription was shorted and no resolution after 10 days and counting
Getting my prescriptions from Cost Plus has been a headache. I paid for 3 prescriptions and after a long shipping process, I finally received them on 3/17 and the most important medication was short. I called immediately and was told that because it was late in the afternoon, I would receive a call back the next morning and that missing medicine is sent overnight. I heard nothing and called back on 3/18. This time, I was told that it takes 72 hours to process and I would receive a call or email to let me know when it had been sent out. Again, no communication from them and it's been 10 days since I reported this! I called for the third time yesterday and was told it would be escalated to a supervisor but I don't have any confidence in them at this point. I know people and machines make mistakes but this has not been handled appropriately. Unfortunately, this is the pharmacy my Dr uses so I will be letting then know my experience.
They can improve by treating their medication errors with urgency, considering that people actually need them.
Prescription not here on time
My wife’s prescription did not arrive and closed on time. It’s not here yet and we weren’t able to order it early enough so that it would have a good chance of being here.
Hopeless order fulfillment service
I am a physician. I wish I could recommend this pharmacy. Regrettably, order fulfillment service is entirely and repeatedly inadequate. MD orders submitted electronically do not appear in Prescribed Medication list without contact nudging. Electronic and phone messages about unfulfilled orders go unanswered or inadequately answered after an excessive wait.
What an embarrassment to Mark Cuban. Fix order fulfillment or abandon this project
Failure to communicate and fill prescriptions timely
I placed a prescription for a life critical medication. I included an expedited delivery fee. After two days they have not filled the prescription and all it says is "Not Ready to Fill." I sent an email through their website, as it is the only way to contact them, and never got a reply.
There is no phone number to call for urgent matters and since there is no way to directly contact them, especially for urgent, potentially life endangering issues is disgraceful. I know they are trying to reduce costs, but it is to the detriment of the consumer. When it comes to health issues, communications should be considered a necessary expense.
Be careful of dishonest stock shown
Be careful of a "bait and switch" type of trickery. I used Cost Plus Drugs because they showed that they had a specific brand of a generic patch I was looking for. And it showed it on their webpage for that product. Come to find out, the website link above was for a different brand. I didn't find this out until I waited a week for the product to arrive, including needing to pay for expedited shipping, do to the process taking so long. I contacted them immediately and now it has been a week or more since and I have had no response. I am out $50 and having to use a product that doesn't work for me. I highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs!

Hire humans!! There is NO reason in 2026 why there should not be human representatives. This is my THIRD time not getting my medication on time AFTER Costplus originally canceled it for no reason and I had to reorder. Now UPS their shipping carrier has completely destroyed and lost my medication. That they destroyed and threw away with no notice. My medication I can DIE without and now there is no human person to contact!!!!!!!!!! An email box they take forever to respond to in a dyre situation like this. Bad service and no way to contact
Cannot talk to a live person because then they could cancel your order and issue a refund. They have it set up so you email them if you need to contact them but because they sit on response time and takes forever to do, it allows them to mark as shipped regardless if they actually have done vso or not. This company should be investigated and shut down. Keeps getting more negative reviews which eventually will lead to less people using them, so karma will come.
Shipping Hell - EVERY TIME
How is it that Mark Cuban's Cost Plus uses UPS's EXPRESS and on his own website, promises delivery that it doesn't make happen? I had already once deleted my account with them, but recently reinstated it for the cost of the Rx. This was a nightmare to finally arrive!
It came UPS EXPRESS which is just an umbrella name under which there are a number of package shipping services. This is a tube of cream, for heavens sakes... The order was fulfilled on December 9th, but didn't arrive until December 23rd. Here's the route it took from Florida to Ohio: It went from Florida to Indianapolis, to South Dakota to DesMoines and back to Indianapolis, then finally to Cleveland. But wait! So close!!! Then it went off to Philladelphia where it sat for three days before it was finally delivered? What the...?
You mean to tell me there isn't a more efficient way to deliver PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS?
Not many medications can be played with time-wise Mr. Cuban. These ar peoples very lives!

This is a case study example of what happens when you don't use humans. On 9/4, I ordered my prescription and sent the authorization to my provider. One week later, I checked the status and they had no record of my request. Two weeks later, I sent the completed authorization to a chatbot. The chatbot filled my order after I paid. Today, I received an email issuing me a refund; they were unable to get through to my provider!?!

I have been a long time user of cost plus drugs. They have saved me a lot of money over the years. But I have found in the recent past that the customer service and the receipt of doctors prescriptions has severely been impacted by a lack of customer interface. I tried four times to contact cost plus. - I could not get an answer and there is no one to talk to. I got to a point where I needed to get medicines that had been ordered. I could talk to no one and I got no answers. I’m very disappointed at the responsiveness. The real problem is the headquarters telephone number for cost plus in Dallas actually puts you in a communications loop with no end.. I had to get my medicine elsewhere. Too bad.

My actual prescription from doctor to costplusdrugs pharmacy took longer than normal, but they have very affordable prices and very good customer service I've talked to over the phone! Also very fast shipping, it's crazy! Thank you Mark Cuban for making it happen!!!
Jury's still out
Kroger discontinued their Rx program, so after comparing costs, I switched to Cost Plus, even though I've had terrible experiences in the past with other mail order Rx. My drug is a very common generic.
I set up an account and designated it as my preferred pharmacy in MyChart (hospital system portal) before going to see my Dr. I had no issues with Cost Plus receiving my prescription. Dr ordered it on a Monday, it was sitting in my cart when I got home, I placed my order, and it shipped out the next day.
I didn't receive it until the following Tuesday due to delays with USPS. I was one day away from being completely out and getting pretty nervous, but it all worked out.
If you need your meds urgently, if you're on an uncommon med, if your meds need to be temp controlled, or you're not tech literate I'm not sure I would use Cost Plus. If you do use them, I would HIGHLY recommend to plan WAAAAY ahead to account for any mishaps and still get your meds on time.
But for me and my situation, it was ok (after reading the other reviews, I may have just gotten lucky). We'll see how it goes with the refills.
TERRIBLE SERVICE, VERY UNRESPONSIVE.
Been trying to order a prescription from them for over a month. My dic sent them my scrip as I've seen the fax report, and nothing has happened. Messaged them a couple times and got no response. So I called them a couple days ago and was told they'd be getting back to me within 24 hours. They've not done so. Unless you have no other option, avoid this company like the plague!
