Happy halloween

Bought some halloween decorations from Costume Box and was very happy with the products.
Great service and communication, fast delivery, great prices and products ! Well done , will definitely buy from this store again.

Pop-up Santa had too much Christmas cheer.....

Bought a pop-up inflatable Christmas decoration which failed to pop-up. I sent an email around 7pm explaining the issue and had a response just after 12pm the next day, offering to send out a replacement or refund my money. I asked for a replacement which was sent no questions asked. Cannot fault the response times and customer service, I'd give more stars if I could. I dealt with Rachel who is an absolute superstar.

Fantastic service!!

Unbelievable service. I ordered a costume online at 11pm last night and it arrived at 4pm today?!! Will definitely be using this company again.

Kindly refunded when I couldn’t pick up package

I really appreciated that they refunded my order without me asking after I was unable to receive my package and it was sent back to the seller. Thanks costume box! I’ll order again from you next time when I can securely pick up the goods :)

Ordered a headdress for Halloween

Ordered a headdress for Halloween - never arrived ! When I contacted the company they said it had been attempted to be delivered twice - I received nothing in regards to the two failed deliveries. They then said they could not refund me the postage costs (which were three times the price of the actual item) as there had been attempts to deliver- total scam in my opinion. All couriers leave a card to notify you or an email - terrible service !

Holey tights!

I bought a pair of lace 80s tights for a party. They arrived on time with multiple holes in the seams. Mum did a great job of fixing them but wont be buying from here again! Wasnt impressed!

I placed an order for several items.

I placed an order for several items.
I accidentally ordered one wrong item.
The cost of the item I ordered was $2 more than what I meant to order.
I sent a message 10 minutes after placing the order so they could amend it for me. I get an email 12 hours later saying it was not possible to swap out the item. They will send it to me, then I will have to post to return and order the correct item. My order hadn't even been dispatched. They seem too lazy to bother.
I phoned them and spoke to Mila. I said I didn't need a $2 refund for the difference, I just wanted the correct item to be sent.
She reiterated the above.
While I get this was my mistake, they did nothing at all to help rectify a simple problem. They will not help in any way.
Terrible customer service. Avoid.
Wish I had seen the terrible reviews on here before buying.

Poor quality products, bad customer service

Products are poor quality with ultra cheap construction, and can be purchased on eBay for less than 1/4 of CostumeBox asking price. I mean, literally $5 same category items from Kmart are better quality...

Item descriptions are simply not accurate, or in some cases technically accurate but in a deceptive or misleading way.

According to their customer service, they apparently do not allow customers to directly leave product reviews on the website after confirmed purchase. Instead they send an email 7 days after delivery and you can email them back your reviews that they will decide if they want to put them up. That's why none of their products have reviews on them... They are gate keeping negative feedback.

Customer service chat is awful, they pick up the chat but then abandon it after saying hello. It's better to leave customers in queue than pick up a chat and then not reply to them for a long time because you're busy elsewhere. If I'm number 1 in the queue (which I was) that would however suggest your rep isn't busy elsewhere and just is bad at her job.

The only good thing I can say about Costume Box is they provide an express way to return their products. My items were received 20 minutes ago and they're going straight back today.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible, organised next day delivery for a costume, received a call at 4.07pm stating out of stock although website had advised otherwise, requested if I could have a different costume sent out as a replacement in same time frame, was rudely told no there's nothing further they can do to assist as it is outside the deadline period although they were the ones to call after 4pm. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER. wouldn't bother using.

I was told the shipping was quick so I went with this company. Received my package in 3 days which is awesome. I paid $70 for a kids costume and it arrived packaged well. However the actual quality of the costume was something I'd expect from a thrift store. Cheap material with marks on it, it was definitely new, but it had what looked like ink marks on the costume, uneven padding where the costumes 'muscles' were supposed to be. I couldn't return as the event we needed it for was only 2 days away. Very disappointed with the quality and won't be returning. I did takes photos of all of the problems but they didn't show well on my old phone so I gave up. Won't ever be using them again.
