Have used them for several fairly material purchases, and everything was smooth, save that the email communications from DPD (their chosen courier) were not ideal, but the lens turned up safe and sound and Cotswold were responsive to any queries I had.

What can I say? Absolutely Fantastic!
If you're reading this, like most people here, you've been on the website, seen the too good to be true prices and thought you would look up the reviews. I did. I also emailed the company with questions they already answered in their FAQ. The response times were good and the information spot on. Got to say I was a little apprehensive due to the value of the order, however, I needn't have worried. Communication was really good throughout the delivery period. Packaging was exemplary. Even had plastic protective corners taped to the box to prevent crushing in transit. Even the inner boxes were wrapped in bubble wrap, with care and attention as though they had wrapped a present. The experience of the un boxing was fantastic. Everything just as promised.
Canon R5 mark ii and four lens'. Also took advantage of the five year Warranty.

This was my second purchase from Cotswold Cameras and I know it won't be my last. This time, as it was a camera body rather than just a lens, I was a little more concerned because of the camera operating language, manual, power adapter, etc. I know very well how CC obtains its items but I had faith, based on my previous experience and that of others. The price was pretty astonishing compared with current U.K. shop prices. I had two choices: buy used or buy from CC brand new, for lower than U.K. used prices! After a week and a half my new OM-1 Mark II arrived, having been given DPD notifications leading up to delivery (presumably from the point at which it arrived in the U.K.). I knew what to expect here, and nothing disappointed. The camera itself is flawless, brand new and works perfectly, so I'm very happy. The supplied charger is obviously not meant for the U.K. but CC thoughtfully supply a tiny U.K. plug adapter to be used with it, and it's absolutely fine. There's a printed manual too, but it's clearly a photocopy, in some places a little patchy, but that's quickly rectified with a download PDF from OM System. Nothing to be concerned about, and indeed CC could have just said "get your own adapter and manual" so the fact they supply both by default is a bonus. Top stuff, highly recommended.

When I saw the prices for new cameras I thought it must be too good to be true, my Sony A7V was priced £1,000 less than MPB used options.
I emailed Cotswold cameras just for some clarification on their product sourcing, and was met with a detailed and helpful response.
I knew the shipping times would be 7-14 days, and I decided to go for it.
Within two weeks I had the camera, brand new, no issues.
The cameras are grey imports, but if you've ever bought used on eBay from Japan or outside of the UK, you're getting a similar experience. (or even buying used in-store when you're abroad)
The one downside is a new camera with no manufacturer warranty, so if that's important to you, don't buy from them. However, Cotswold Cameras also offer a warranty option.
As someone who usually buys used, often in terrible condition to save ££, a new camera at less than used price is a win win.

100% will use Cotswold Cameras again, smooth delivery, clear communication and a brand new camera.

Great price on the D850 I bought, brilliant value for money. Delivery schedule was as described (10-14 days) and arrived morning of the 10th day, securely packaged. Definitely using these guys again.

At first I was worried about so called grey sites... And put off ordering a camera... Waiting cost me and extra £20 as the camera I wanted went up when I finally took the plunge... I did not need to worry.. Transaction went through and my new camera and lens was delivered inside the 10 to 14 day time line.. Perfect.. New camera well boxed and no issues.. I will use again...

Ive ordered a camera and 2 lenses off this site now. Saved myself about £2k off regular prices. Oftern delivers within a week. I dont mind if its grey market. Its saves me alot of money and the products are factory perfect.

New lens just arrived, robustly packaged and well within the delivery time quoted. This is the fourth time I have purchased fom Cotswold - excellent prices and excellent service

Camera , converter and lens ordered with this company, was worried as so cheap but reviews all good. Only issue was with PDP. So delivery which is out off there hands really as all my experience with delivery companies is not great in my area. Will be ordering my next lens shortly with cotswold cameras, saved so much money so worth the wait

I used them last year and got a great deal, this year the deal was better. A new camera with 2 lenses for about 60% of the price that the best dealers could offer. It was much cheaper than second hand. This year the delivery process has changed and there was a couple of days when I thought it had gone wrong, but overall took about 13 days to get my camera. Obviously it's a grey import but they tell you that and have their own warranty anyway.

Overall they are great to deal with and the price is fantastic, though some items may be the same price as here, but if you do your homework then a fantastic bargain can be had.

Great support from David, he replied to my email questions promptly and guided me well with my purchase of Sony FX30 camera.
I will definitely use Cotsworld Cameras in the future.
