All good! I've bought 28-70 F2 for Sony. Product packed super well, shiny and new. I've received the order within ~11working days probably if it wasn't easter I would get it a few days sooner.

I placed an order for Olympus OM-1 with Cotswold Cameras after being clearly told the camera was in stock and would be delivered within 10–14 working days.

This turned out not to be true.

After purchase, it became clear the item was not actually in stock in the EU and would be shipped from Asia. The next day they started telling me that due to events in the Middle East my shipement may be delayed.

I was later told the parcel had been dispatched and was on its way to UPS since March 24. However, the tracking status remained “label created” for days. When I contacted UPS directly, they confirmed they had not received the parcel.

Cotswold Cameras later contradicted their earlier statements and admitted the parcel had not yet been delivered to EU and not handed over to the courier. They have now confirmed that delivery within the promised timeframe will not happen and are currently unable to provide reliable tracking.

While the pricing may seem attractive, the communication is inconsistent and the delivery promises before purchase are misleading.

To be totally fair, they do respond within 1–2 days, which is the reason for the two-star rating instead of one.

From my experience, this appears to be a grey-market business model with no actual stock in the UK or EU. All products are delivered from HK, and to reduce costs they probably consolidate shipments with high probability of delays.

In my opinion, this is not outright fraud, but it is misleading and lacks transparency.

My advice: think twice before ordering.
In my case, the result was no camera, many hours spent on emails (they do not answer the phone), a missed Olympus cashback opportunity locally, and a very frustrating experience.

Your company continuoulsy provides inaccurate and even false information. Firstly, you did not inform me that you have no camera in your EU stock, later you disinformed me about camera being already delivered to EU and to UPS. Your first justification of the delay was justified by the "situation in a "Middle East" and later - by the Easter.

While you YES reply to mails, your communication does not contain any information. Up until now you are even incapable of tracing the location of this deliovery, and the UPS Status remains "Label Created" as of March 24th.

I have cancelled this order and instructed Credit Card company to reimburse me.

I wonder how you manage to generate so many positive reviews..

I ordered an almost complete rig on march 18th: Canon R5 Mk II, 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM Z, 28-70 f2.8 L IS USM and extender 2X. Before ordering I got in touch with the support service, as I needed to receive everything before an event that I have to attend shortly. The answer to my email has been fast and fully satisfactory. So I placed the order and I received my gear on march 28th. Excellent!!!All items are brand new. The box containing them was very well packed up with hard plastic corners and anti shock filling material. I'm really, really satisfied and I'll order for sure the last lens of my "dream kit" (15-35 f2.8 L IS USM).

The seller is extremely professional. Their customer service is excellent and they explained the shipping timeline very clearly. Ordering from Italy, I initially had some doubts, but after speaking with them they reassured me, so I decided to go ahead and purchase my Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 Z series lens. It arrived right on time, exactly 15 days after the purchase, here in Italy. Highly recommended!

Last year I ordered the sublime Nikkor Z 70-200mm, all went smoothly. This time I opted for the Nikkor Z 400mm 4.5, a lens that I have been renting for a while now and was high on the list to own. With such a significant price difference and my already positive experience with Cotswold, it was of course a non brainer to order again at this store. Despite the global situation and its impacts on shipments, I received the lens on time and in perfect condition. Yesterday I went out to test the lens and it performed brilliant, it’s such a beauty. Happy customer (again).

I was initially a bit reluctant to buy from this shop as it was my first time, but I’m glad I did. I purchased a Sony lens for about 800€; even though the price was slightly higher compared to another competitor shop, I chose Costworld because their return policy is more customer-friendly.
The lens arrived in Italy about 14 days after I placed the order. I contacted customer service a couple of times with questions, and they always replied within 24 hours. I would definitely buy from them again. Thanks!

The estimated delivery time was 10–14 business days, and it arrived in just 10, even though I received a message saying the shipment might be delayed due to the global situation. The outer package arrived intact, with reinforced corners for extra protection. The product was brand new, though the heavy 180–600mm lens had shifted slightly during transit. Thankfully, it was completely undamaged. The internal Nikkor cardboard reinforcements gave way a little, crushing one edge of the square support cardboard. But at least the support did the trick in protecting the lens. :) The glass is in perfect condition, runs quietly, and its VR is better than I expected. It produces sharp images and I’m very happy with the results. I would definitely purchase from you again if the need arises.
