The products don’t seem to always be…

The products don’t seem to always be quality. Many times you’re left with unknown players that just seem like junk slabs. The delivery services have been a little unclear. Overall enjoy the marketplace component of the platform and the ability to purchase there. Would like to see an integration with other platforms like eBay to better facilitate sales outside of the courtyard offer.

The odds don't feel fully accurate

The odds don't feel fully accurate, and it seems like the pulls/pull rates have been going downhill (compared to when i first started using the app). Customer service is good, so far no issues with shipping either. Marketplace is dominated by a few bot accounts who can instantly offer so there is pretty much no chance of getting a good deal at all due to these bot accounts.

I love the platform just not the Coinbase part

I love the platform. It’s fun to collect graded slabs. My only issue is with the need to connect a Coinbase account in order to buy from the marketplace. I wish I could offer with the bank inform that you already have and allow me to use to buy packs and mystery slabs.

everything is great with the site…

everything is great with the site except for the occasional hiccup with purchasing a pack where it takes your funds and doesnt give you the pack straight away. I really like how quick the shipping is on your vault items, and the pulls have been great!

Comic book packs

As a comic book collector, it’s such a thrill to buy a mystery pack and watch it open, slowly revealing the treasure inside. However that thrill quickly turns to disappointment when it’s revealed to be the same dregs I’ve opened (and returned) already - over the past week or so I’ve seen the same book (same CGC number) sold, minted, sold back, burned, and then re-minted multiple times, sometimes even within the span of a few minutes! This makes me question whether the inventory is really sustainable for a system like this.

On the flip side, having visibility into the Heavy Hitters available in each pack as well as the recent pulls is a great help in deciding to make a purchase. I see there are books in the packs I would love to add to my collection, so I want to keep buying packs to get them, or else buy directly from the marketplace. Would love to see saved searches on the marketplace, or notifications when books are added rather than immediately burned.

I’m also curious about how the FMVs are calculated, and how often if at all they are updated, as these don’t always seem to match the open market.

I’ve been through the ringer with your…

I’ve been through the ringer with your competitors. I’ve dropped nearly $4,000 on Arena Club and walked away with essentially nothing. Most of these other services are absolute garbage—they feel like a black hole for capital.

Courtyard is different. Even if your margins are slimmer, I feel like my investment is actually respected here. I trust you guys so much that I use my platform of 100k+ followers to actively steer people away from the "shit" services like Arena Club and RipIt and toward you.

That said, I want to use your Marketplace way more, but two things are stopping me:

Market Liquidity: You guys need a bigger following so more people are posting cards. I’m ready to buy, but we need more volume.

The "Modern Fluff" Filter: I despise modern cards. Currently, the Marketplace is cluttered with low-end fluff that makes it a chore to browse. I would be on the Marketplace daily if you added a Year Filter (e.g., "1990 and before"). Let me filter out the modern era and the low-end noise so I can focus on the quality vintage I actually care about.

Have never had an issue!

The cards typically take a little over a week to ship, but I have never had any issues with them when they arrive, and I love the small collection I have built up through this website. Got my very first slab from them and continue to open packs to add a little joy to my life :)

My son loves the buyback option

My son loves the buyback option. It allows him to buy other packs if he doesn’t like the card he wins. Also, I like the fact your hit rates are published. I appreciate the honesty so he knows what the risk is vs. the reward.
