I just LOVE the Sarah Burns brush set. There are of good quality, very soft and absolutely worth the investment!

Bought a set of brushes from this company one of which proved defective. Despite contacting them with photographs they refused to either refund for the brush not fit for purpose or exchange the brush and simply kept repeating the same phrase about stringent tests on their products without accepting any responsibility. They also constantly infer that it is my fault and I did not clean the brushes quickly enough or left them to dry or cleaned them insufficiently which is quite totally wrong and defalamatory. They wronglu state below I used purple which I did.not it was.blue which is obvious from the photo I sent and now I am being harassed on a daily basis which is very stressful despite previously saying in their reply to this review some of these brushes stained. Despite calling themselves Customer Service of Happiness they make zero attempt to be helpful at all. Best avoided

Although you claimed that your brushes are defective, upon reviewing your case, we must stress that this is not the case. You shared photos of the brushes still holding a purple paint pigment, and our recommended solution is to rinse and repeat the cleaning process, until all pigment has been washed away.
For clarify, you stated:
"I purchased the above set and overall am very pleased with the way the brushes perform but have a problem with the severe staining on the No 8 brush pictures of which are attached. I have now carefully washed this brush out four times and you will see it is still showing blue in the suds on the sink which worries me it will contaminate another colour when wet."
Our brushes, specifically the Helen Rae Campbell brush set, have been designed to hold lots of water and pigments, just as Helen intended. Please note, that some paint pigments may stain bristles more than others, and may be more difficult to wash out. However, we are confident, that after following a stringent cleaning routine, including the use of brush soap, your brushes will be ready to paint again!
However, to ensure your complete satisfaction, and to explore this issue further, we have already requested the paint brand that you are using, and the pigment information - we will actively liaise with the paint manufacturer, and work together to conduct tests on our end. I kindly request that you contact our customer service team once more to provide this information, and ask for Elisa directly. I will personally ensure that your concern is addressed promptly and to your satisfaction.

Quality brushes in useful sets
The brushes I received were delivered quickly and in a great presentation box, ideal as a gift for a painting newbie or experienced painter. The brushes are great quality and the set was a good range of types making them very useful and economical as you have all you need without wondering what type and size you need, and buying ones you will never use.
