I can't recommend it enough if you want to get back into knitting or be taught the basics, if you've never done it before. Emily was very gentle, kind and patient and really great to talk to about knitting. It is clear she has such a lot of experience and there was a lovely family feel to the shop. It really has just inspired me. Both Emily and her Nan were really encouraging and gave such reassurance. Just brilliant. Loved it! And have booked another 1:1. I will totally go on their experience. Can't recommend it enough.

Such a different and wonderful shop. Really knowledgeable staff who are friendly. I loved the gallery and have joined in on zentangle workshops.

I have been to the Craft Arena many times and had always had excellent service Denise Ray and Emily have a wide knowledge between them and if they don't know the answer they will find out and come back to you.

I have been to the Brother open day today and learnt a lot about the sewing machines and overlockers.

I purchased an embroidery machine from Denise and received a free lesson. She was brilliant and I felt very confident. Her tuition was excellent and I would purchase any future machines with her.

Craft arena is a welcoming shop and gallery they also offer various workshops. The staff are lovely and shop is well stocked, tidy and easy to find what you want. The staff are very knowledgable and help with whatever you need. Highly recommend.

I love this family run shop in the Craft village, and it is my ‘go to’ for yarn. I also attend the monthly knitting group and have made some lovely like minded friends from there. Denise and Ray are always very helpful and stock the very latest Rowan patterns and yarns. The shop is an Aladdin’s cave of knitting and other crafty equipment. She has a gallery attached the shop to display all forms of beautifully made crafts and demonstrates sewing machines and overlockers. I absolutely recommend this shop you will not be disappointed.

I attended a Zentangle starter course last weekend and was amazed at how well I did on my first attempt. I went to the shop Saturday but due to the weather I dialled in via Zoom on Sunday, it wasn’t a problem and was made very easy. Denise is a great teacher and I’m looking forward to my next lesson. The shop is lovely and the stock of all things craft excellent.

Brilliant shop with a fab selection of crafting joy! Lots of different wool/yarn/thread to enjoy and a lot of inspiration from patterns and books as well. The owners are fab, very informative and host a lot of workshops as well to give you a chance to learn something new, or master more skills if you want to!! All round fab place

Fabulous shop and store owner. Very knowledgeable and helpful. It is so nice to know there are small businesses that really care about their customers. A must visit for any maker.

Love this small business. The shop has a big variety craft items for sale. The service by the owners is wonderful. If they haven’t got what you want they help by trying to find it. Part of the unit they have a exhibition of the craft that are done in some of the workshops that they do.
