Fantastic find! Huge selection of beers, ales and gins. We bought a mixed box and the variety was fantastic. Delivered when they said they would and rang an hour before to say they were on their way. Will definitely be buying from them again

This was the second time that I placed an order. The first time I bought a selection of bottled and canned beer, which was delivered quickly with all products intact and no breakages. I live in Croydon so delivery was via courier. So far so good.

Last week I went onto Craft n Berry’s web site, to place another order. This time mainly bottled beer from Yorkshire breweries (Chantry, Bradfield, Gorilla) that I couldn’t source from other suppliers. Placed the order no problem. I was somewhat surprised then to find out that my order was cancelled by the shop a few moments later. I received an e mail from Craft n Berry to explain that it basically wasn’t worth their while to ship bottled beer due to breakages etc. and issues with couriers. Yet the same company had successfully despatched an order to me a few weeks earlier, which contained a number of them. In reply I suggested that the shop make this “no bottle” nationwide delivery policy much more clearer on their website and they might want to look at the courier companies they use if damage was a regular issue. I got no reply to this.

This is the first time I’ve come across a company that has cancelled an order because it contained bottles! A couple of days later I received a shipment from Chantry Brewery in Rotherham for 24 bottles. No fuss - all arrived intact with not so much as a crack. I’ve ordered beer from all over the country and also from overseas and not one brewery or company has come back to me to say they won’t ship bottles. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Craft N Berry again, which is a shame because they do have a good selection of beers…..just don’t order any bottles!
