Stay away from these guys

Stay away from these guys, they are horrible. I bought the $1400 top of the line package which ships quarterly. Which by the way claims to have a value of $2800.

Website boasts “Tactical and survival gear actually used by Navy SEALs and special forces. This is the 007 of gear boxes, real issue tactical gear that would be used on the front lines. Products include custom bulletproof bag inserts, bags with secret pouches, tactical self-defense flashlights, knives, binoculars and so much more"

1st package arrived in a timely manner, but it was so underwhelming that I really thought it was a welcome gift, not my quarterly package. (Dog tag bottle opener, Snake head bottle stopper, Plastic tactical pen, Hard glass case, Butane lighter, Neck Knife, Shooting Bags, Bluetooth speaker, “Static Climbing” rope, Revo Sunglasses) Not much tactical or survival gear IMO.

2nd package *should have arrive March 20, 2020. Email to support on March 24 (I was anxious) received a swift reply letting me know that it would be on my doorstep within the next 14 days. April 22 and I have still not received anything, and nothing from them providing an updated ship date. So I sent them another email expressing my disappointment. April 24 I got a very pleasant reply from support apologizing for the delay, and offering a “bonus” gift if I give them another chance. I REALLY want this to work so I reply April 25 saying “Yeah not a prob. I REALLY want to like your stuff. I’ll try to be a more patient person. I really appreciate the positive tone to your reply. Makes me want to stick with you.
Thanks for the positive reply and I apologize if my email was over the top.”

April 27 “Good news! We have submitted a request for a bonus package to be sent to you at the following address. You will receive an email with tracking as soon as the package leaves the warehouse. Please note that bonus packages typically ship within 24-48 hours.
Thanks again for giving us another chance!”

May 4 – Nothing from them yet, so I shoot off another email “REALLY sorry for being “That Guy”
Could I also get an estimated ship date for the March package? Mainly so I can stop checking the website every day.
Thanks!”

May 7 – Still no deliveries, and upon trying to log into the website to check status I was greeted with “Your account has been disabled”
No communication from them.
No deliveries from them.
No refund from them.

This was a Christmas gift for my…

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. The quality of the few items in the first box was subpar at best. Second box was supposed to arrive mid March. It’s now April 25th and no sign. They outsource their customer service and it’s horrible. They keep giving me the run around. I understand these are unusual times but just be honest. I tried to get a refund for the remainder of the year and they won’t do it. I would save my money and time - stay away!

I subscribed just for the annual news…

I subscribed just for the annual news access For 26.99 for last 5 years. This year I was charged 79.99 for team room access which I never signed up for. Cherry from support kept giving me a run around. Wouldn’t refund the fraudulent charge. Tried saying I was notified of changes in prices by email but I never was. Filing dispute with my cc company and bbb. Cancel your cc from website before they screw you too.

my first and last crate club box

So this was my first crate club box and I canceled immediately after receiving. My first box contained a sunglass case, tactical pen, and some other multi tool. Did not appear to be worth the money compared to some of the other services. I had high hopes but ultimately it didn’t impress me or truly add value. I’d move along to another service.

13 APR 2020. The club is decent for getting you some things that wouldn't typically come to mind but it is mostly first aid kits and subpar knifes. I bought into the year subscription and have received the same items multiple times. Do yourself a favor and just buy a first aid kit, sand bags and a pocket knife on your own and save yourself the time of waiting. I highly recommend reading some field manuals and just buying the things that actually come in hand. Out.

Don’t get taken like I did.

Just received a BS email blaming corvid 19 for the fact that I received the same box 2 quarters in a row. There are many better ways to handle having low inventory, or not receiving new inventory like asking the customer what he/she would would like to do. I would have waited instead of getting the exact same things again. And it wasn't anything that I would ever needs doubles of. You also charged me 30 days before any of the corvid restrictions started. That email was a disgrace. Maybe should have listened to your own advice "200,00 customers better Prepared" How about 1 company not trying to screw over 200000 Customers.

**EDIT** so after writing the initial review, I was contacted by Brandon Webb. He was very apologetic and truly wanted to do what he could to help. He ensured he did everything he could to make it right and he did.

The only people that talk about great customer service are those who were fixing payment issues so the company could get more money or some minor issue. This is an absolute garbage company with a garbage product, all they are worried about is getting more money. I signed up for the premiere membership that was supposed to have quality gear. Instead I got a bunch of crap that is just for their advertisement (whiskey glass with their logo, crap leather coaster with their logo, notebook with their logo, dog tag bottle opener with their logo, etc), trinkets you could get from a dollar store (maginfying reading glass which i got in two separate packages), and then only a couple items of actual usable gear (climbing rope, tiny medical kit which amounted to basically a first aid kit). $1216.95 for a bunch of garbage. Since the original order, my disability has gotten worse and I had to have an emergency spinal surgery (100% disabled combat vet) on my lower lumbar and undergoing physical therapy for not only it but an injury on my upper spine as well. Due to all of this I forgot to cancel the automatic renewal. I am now unemployed due to the 100% disability. I noticed the pending auto renewal charge on my bank account the morning of renewal. I immediately contacted customer service and they told me it was too late but they could offer a 10% discount at their store. I explained the entire situation and the fact I need that money to provide for my son and they told me they wouldn't issue a refund. I had it sent to a supervisor at which point when I was contacted I was still told they wouldn't issue a refund but now they could give me 20% off more garbage in their store. They don't care about people, they don't care about veterans, they don't care about military. They care only about profits and making money from people. Please DO NOT waste your money on this garbage. Not only is it not worth it, but as other people have said they will continue stealing your money. I highly doubt this company has any affiliation with any veteran, especially not any prior operators.

Change of address

I needed to put in a change of address and went to the website to achieve this. For some reason, my inability or problem with the website I don’t know, I was unable to change the address. I sent an online message about the problem I was having and received an immediate response stating the address change had been put in place. Thank you for the prompt response and assistance with the address change.

Do your research!

I signed up for this subscription service for the year of 2019. After receiving my first premium shipment I was extremely disappointed. There was a vast difference in the marketing of their goods vs what was actually received. If you sign up, YOU CAN NOT CANCEL immediately. You can only cancel the auto renewal moving forward.

After receiving the first shipment in January 2019, I called and attempted to cancel my order but was told I would have to email them to cancel my auto renewal. They would not take my cancellation request over the phone. I sent an email to the address they gave. However they say they never received it. They billed my account again for 2020 and will not reverse it even though I have provided proof I sent them and email stating I wanted my auto renewal cancelled.

It is my opinion that anyone considering their services and goods should do their research on this company before giving them your business.

Research accredited sites that provide transparent customer reviews as some review sites can be paid for by companies looking to increase positive reviews and may or may not include all customer reviews including negative interactions. The Better Business Bureau is a great place to start for trusted information on a particular company.

I've been unable to log in since the…

I've been unable to log in since the change back to SOFREP. My previous emails were never answered. I was about to cancel my subscription until Cane B responded and solved my problem. Thank you again Cane B.

Issue fixed

My initial box didn’t not get shipped for some reason. I reached out to customer service and they were able to expedite the box. I appreciate the reps ability to take ownership and provide a solution.

Really??? Save your money.

Really??? Save your money, do the smallest amount of research and you can find many more products of higher quality and usefulness on ACCIDENT. I purchased the higher priced 4 box package(around $560). Mostly just junk. The third box was EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE SECOND BOX! When I emailed to ask what the heck, they just responded with an email offering 10% of a renewal subscription..... What a joke.
