I am extremely happy with the crate…
I am extremely happy with the crate club and all of the things that they have sent me and can’t wait to for the next box to ship
Overpaying for this
Please dont send them your money, they will be late sending you your box and maybe you will get an item that is worth around 50% of what you paid for the box and some stickers,
Even after you cancel they will try to take your money anyway if you are not careful,
Stay away from them.
Absolutely shocking
giving 1 star as wont let you do any less, packages were delayed 1st box I received a seat belt cutter the 2nd box I received some rubbish some rubbish bullet shaped drink coolers stay away its an absolute con not worth the money
Always delays in shipping
Always delays in shipping. Every single box has been delayed by weeks. Also, like others have said, they send the same cheap crap that they sent in the last box! Worthless.Keep your money

I ordered the “General”, what a disappointing first box. And it DEFINITELY wasn’t worth what they advertised it was. When I tried to cancel the remainder of the boxes, they say they can’t, “It’s in the FAQs” they said. It’s not that they can’t, once they get your money, they won’t. I will be disputing the charge with my bank, I sent the box back, make sure you keep a good log of the emails and receipts.
This company is a fraud
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T SEND YOUR PRODUCT!! This was the worst experience of our life!! I was so excited to buy this year subscription for my husband. I paid $706 for 12 crates. I lost count and didn't feel like we received a crate every month but I couldn't be positive because we would go a month or so without getting a crate, then 2 would just show up at once or within a week of each other... fast forward to the end of the subscription. I wasn't happy with it. The items we received were crap and after like the 6th sunglass case, I was over it. I canceled our auto renewing subscription in July 2019. November 1, 2019 Crate Club charged me $706 for the next year... i tried to argue it and tell them I canceled, but i didn't keep the email and they said they couldn't refund my money and cancel the upcoming year's subscription because they had already set my year's worth of crates aside... we were stuck. Fast forward 8 months... we received one crate in 8 months... they gave us a $100 credit in the middle of those 8 months to purchase items from their store, which we did... we never received those items either. I filed a complain through BBB, which Crate Club made ZERO effort to resolve and instead made up LIES about emails they didn't send stating changes to their policy that they did not tell us about during a time we have email correspondence with their company stating something COMPLETELY different. I tried disputing the charge with my bank but it was too old... so finally I decided we were going to get a lawyer and sue them for our money and recoupement of the attorney fees. My husband made one more last ditch effort to get our money back and finally made contact with a customer service manager that finally refunded our money after 8 months of fighting them. I don't know if he finally realized how badly we got screwed by them or if they realized we were done playing and were going to cost them even more money in court. But we finally got our money back, today. As combat veterans ourselves, we were sorely disappointed that another veteran owned company runs their business like this. DO NOT give this worthless company a dime of your money. They are frauds and they are liars.
I was a Crate Club member for years... but never again.
I was a Crate Club member for the past few years and in the beginning it was great. Over the past 1.5 years, like others, I begin receiving "Crate Club" branded products versus the companies that were originally supplying a variety of useful EDC/other items. I cancelled my subscription and about a year later, decided I would upgrade to a quarterly subscription. I was charged in April 2020 and that order has been "fulfilled" but I still have not received it as of July 2020. I was also charged for June 2020 and that order is still unfulfilled to date (July 2020). I emailed support back in the middle of June inquiring about the April order and was told "someone would look into it" and I still haven't heard back. I've emailed support requesting a refund for the two orders I never received but sadly, I'm not holding my breathe on hearing back and will most likely be contacting my bank. I'm done with Crate Club which is disappointing because in the beginning it was a pretty sweet concept and veteran ran company. There had to have been a change in ownership. It's the only thing that makes sense.
Repeat items over and over
Have been a member for several years and they continue to send items that they have already sent and recently it’s been cheap merchandise that has already been sent over 2 times before.
Total scam
Total scam, I have been a member for a year. Stuff was pretty good until recently. Got my March box today, yes three months late. For $400 here is what I got:
Cheap first aid kit that I already got.
Scarf that I already got.
Sunglasses that I already got.
Cheap knife that I already got.
Microfiber towel that I already got.
Not even worth $100 much less $400.
Save your $, scam artists
Stay away from this company!
Since the lowest rating is 1 star, that’s all they get....i would give a 0 if I could. I have been a member for 3 years. The first year, products were great! They must of sold the company because I have been highly disappointed with the items that are in the box. I pay annually for a subscription, they never billed me for the next year, to give me a chance to cancel, and once I saw the charge go through, I tried to cancel. I was told that I couldn’t cancel the subscription that I paid for, but would give me store credit....the merchandise is cheap, and looks like toys from walmart! I currently am trying to fight this charge....wish me luck....why would a company force me to pay for something that I don’t want? If they stand behind their merchandise, they would gladly give me a refund.
Since the lowest ranking is 1 star…
Since the lowest ranking is 1 star that's what they get. Someone gave them a license to steal from customers and everyone that signs up be prepared to be sadly disappointed in the crap they send. Bet I've gotten the same glasses cases, first aid kits and crappy neck knives 3 times. Even the good stuff sucks. And I'm being kind. Please avoid these guys like Covid-19 and spend your money elsewhere. And if you're unlucky enough to sign up remember to cancel or they'll auto renew your card and bill you for another year of sub-par crap!
Not worth money
Not worth money. The general level is not worth while. In the 4 boxes I have received 2 were great. Last one came with a a bunch of logo cheap stuff. Most of it I had received in a previous box. I will not be renewing. Customer service was quick with response but no resolution. Don't waste your money.
Don’t do it.
Worst thing you could ever spend your money on. No customer support. They repeat a bunch and it June 3rd and I just got my last package due back in March and the whole thing was a repeate.
Buyer Beware
I had done a couple of one time cheaper subscriptions to crate club which were not bad, and so I went ahead and took the plunge and paid for the “General” subscription, which is the most expensive subscription available currently. I was satisfied although not overly thrilled with the first box which I received on time. However the 2nd crate was delivered 2 months late after a half a dozen emails from several different people, and there was a significant difference between the two crates. The second crate did not seem to reflect the quality of the crate purchased, and the last email I received from them was an “I’m sorry the crate does not meet your standards.” I work in customer service and quality control and I’m here to warn you to avoid the problems I encountered with this company.
Terrible customer service they taken…
Terrible customer service they taken the money for two boxes and have not shipped them. They will not reply to emails in a timely manner and when they do it’s a BS response that doesn’t answer the question! I would not recommend this to my worst enemy!
Very disappointed in the quality of…
Very disappointed in the quality of items. Late on the shipments continually. They automatically renewed my subscription 30 days prior to the renewal date and wouldn’t give me my money back. They haven’t sent me a box since March. I am suppose to get monthly crates. So disappointed in their services. When I recently requested my money back they said the shipments are going out Friday. I don’t want any more ropes, cheap knives, or first aid kits.
I am in 3d year of CC
I am in 3d year of CC - the crates were top shelf and then started to ship hit and miss gear - trinket, Chinese knock offs. I was just going with it until I realized they would short me a box around the time it came to renew, then by the time I was on the hook and renewed and they always stayed a box behind. So I paid for the year to get 4 crates and was only getting three. And they never offered me a free gift?? Now they are two crates behind and reply with template email (I know this because I complained on the long chain of emails for late shipping for passed boxes. I complained about the template and they gave me a song and dance about new teams, blah - blah. I think the original owners bailed and left the company to who knows what. Being an ole Navy Chief - Im not buying this is a veteran owned company - integrity, integrity. I am no way giving up anymore $$$$ for BS and thankful for American Express. Signed disappointed and passing the word
I just received my first box from crate…
I just received my first box from crate club and man j wish I would’ve read the reviews before I jumped on board with this company. For 111.36 I figured if anything else I’ll prolly at least get a decent knife out of this thing but nope I received a belt buckle and OKC para pry, some cooking gear, snare, fire blanket, fire proof document bag, grease, and a bag. I have been receiving boxes from different companies now for 3 years and this is damn near at the bottom of that list of crap that I’ve received. Save your money and research these places .
I foolishly joined them a year ago or…
I foolishly joined them a year ago or so. Their equipment sent out is, at best, second-rate Chinese crap. Anybody that thinks these are great products obviously has extremely LOW expectations and/or NO knowledge of equipment.
One of the crates I had received claimed a value of almost $300. I paid $200 for it. Great savings, right?
WRONG!!! I was able to buy EVERYTHING they had sent on either Amazon, or another websile for a total of $33 less that what Crate Club charged.
I really feel sorry for anyone that thinks they are getting great products or a great deal.
Write me - I've got a bridge in San Francisco I'll sell you real cheap. Such a deal!
Awful experience
Awful experience, awful products!! I signed up for this for my son for xmas... the first box he received was very subpar so I immediately tried to cancel. They will not let me cancel until the entire year is up ugh!! The second box was supposed to arrive in March, we received it May 13th and the only thing it had in it was a small cheap first aid kit and nothing else!! Will not recommend this company to anyone and unless you want to go through the hassle of having to cancel your credit card so they can't keep scamming you- I'd save your time and money...
