Worst streaming service ever
Worst streaming service ever. Randomly opens up to an episode that isn’t where you’ve left off, and does not let you just select the episode you want. It forces you to fast forward each individual episode but every few minutes makes you watch several commercials. So I spent twenty minutes just watching commercials and I’m still not at the episode I had originally left off at. Bell Media, you should be absolutely ashamed of yourself. This company is absolute proof that monopolies are lazy and greedy, with no impetus for innovation.

Out of all of the TV apps I use... crave is the worst! Severally bad connectivity issues... really choppy and lags like you wouldn't believe. No other services is so bad! Glad I didn't pay anything for it.

So, even if you pay for not having ads, Crave now adds advertisements in some shows. For example, I was watching Orphan Black without ads on my ads free plan & starting this week, there are ads in the show; same show, same ad-free plan, but now it has adds which I cannot skip during viewing.
I would ask: why am I paying for a ad-free plan if they can add advertisements in any show they see fit? Doesn't it defeat the purpose of an ad-free plan? Is it still an ad-free plan?
In my opinion, this is despicable. They keep raising prices & give less to the viewers who pay.

Total bs, you pay so much for nothing good and most shows you wanna watch are in french , crave constantly lags,when you shut off your remote it kicks you out of the film you're watching, if you pay for the most expensive plan there's also still ads on certain tv shows and films 0.25/10 Stars
'Premium Ad-Free' is false and misleading advertising.
I canceled my subscription for Crave Canada after finding out that 'Premium Ad-Free' is false and misleading advertising. There are certain movies and tv shows that they must play with ads, even if you pay for ad free. No, this is not a glitch, it's a business model. Overnight my shows went from no ads- to with-ads despite me paying for the premium service and starz ad ons. Very disappointed, I will never purchase from this company again, even after the merger. The least they could have done is be up front about it. The most would be not to squeeze their viewers for every dollar until they leave forever.

Sucks ass. Crave is the worst. Trying to watch White Lotus and keep getting “white screened” out. Have to keep refunding my place. ALSO would it be so hard to make the whole thing more intuitive? Sucks

worst app on the planet even apple tv is better. have an active subscription through crave itself (not my tv provider) but because I used to have an account with my tv provider (no longer active) it's always getting confused and telling me I need to resubcribe. It's a piece of dung.

We get Crave through our cable provider. It was my go to for HBO and movies. Ever since Bell got involved it has been absolute garbage. I’ve contacted both Crave and my cable provider and I still can’t reliably access some content. If I were ever to cut the cord and get rid of cable there is no way I would ever pay for this service. Absolute shite

Very limited content but, what really ticks me off is streaming a movie that is described in English and it streams in French ! Talk about frustrating.
There is no way to switch the movie back to English and so you just turn it off.

I registered 2 days ago and already want to cancel
I registered 2 days ago to take advantage of the promotion, and I already want to cancel. It keeps lagging, error messages, etc. The problem is not on my side because Prime and Netflix work very well with my Amazon Firestick. I also noticed that the image quality is lower. I read somewhere that when you call customer service they gaslight you saying you are the problem.
Buffering champions....
We have a lot of streaming services, this is the worst one. Connection keeps dropping, you can't enjoy a movie when it's buffering every 30 seconds. Don't have this issue with any of the others and have a new tv. Will probably be the first to be cut. I'd rather pay to watch things somewhere else, than have them included in the subscription but not enjoyable.

Crave - From Hero to ZERO
I would have given you 1 star solely based on this past year's content but based it on the average # of years I've had Crave subscription. I subscribed to Crave in 2021 because of the excellent selection of shows. They beat every network at the time as far as content selection - I even had an argument with a colleague at a work dinner about how superior their content was and bought the 1st month subscription for a friend who felt he had too many subscriptions already and got him and his wife hooked on it! BUT the content has been dwindling over the last two years and this past year 2025 has been particularly bad - AND the past 6 months at least has been absolute garbage content!!!!!!!!! As in offering nothing of value, just recycled low rating shows and super dated movies- almost like they got the lowest throw away content that every other network had no interest in bidding on or acquiring. Every month that went by, I thought give it another month it's got to get better, and then another month, and another month and it ONLY gets worst!!!!!!!! I haven't watched anything on Crave in 5 months. I give up. This network went from having the best content to the absolute worst!! I'm done. Bye Crave - if you don't care, and it is evident you don't given the garbage content you're delivering , why on earth should I continue to give you my money??? - and charging the most while providing the least- shameless gouging!!!

SCAM!!! Purchased Crave on the Black Friday Special. Prepaid for a year. The premium product. The very first time I tried to watch there were problems. Buffering, error messages like 'player cannot load', 'try again'. Phoned them and got a ticket # so they could fix it. They had me on the phone and were asking what I was seeing on the TV. During this conversation the TV gave an error. (New Samsung Smart TV) She said that's weird and told me she would pass this new info to techies. I told them I wanted a refund and cancel my subscription. No refunds are ever given. Read the fine print in the service agreement. They called back and said the techs could not replicate my issues on their Samsung TV. It was my internet connection. NO! I have fibre optic with the fastest upload/download speeds available. I do not have this problem with Netflix. Bell Media Inc/Crave need to have a class action law suit filed against them. People should also contact the CRTC to complain. If this review stops one person from signing up for this crap product; it will have been worth the effort. I am on a campaign to bother their customer service reps as much as possible. I chat repeatedly with their service agents demanding a refund. I like to waste their time. I can sit on my computer and do other things while I waste their time. It always boils down to the same answer. "read the fine print in your service agreement, No refunds" I could understand the policy if they put out a working product, but the buffering is non stop. NOT a good product.
By the way Bell Media Inc.; hire Canadians for your service reps. You like to advertise that you are Canadian but all your customer service reps are "offshore. This was confirmed by 'Carlo James' service rep. The service reps do not use their real names. I am sure 'Jessica May' is not her real name either. I told her it sounded more like a porn star name. Heck might not even be female. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS SERVICE. It is not worth the frustration trying to watch programs that buffer repeatedly. Absolutely no stars if possible.

It's so much work just to find which episode I wish to watch,
Why isn't it an option on the playing show or when you click on the show,I have to click on 4 things and scroll too much just to watch the episode I wish watch! And say it starts on episode 1 when that's over and it auto plays next episode it doesn't go to the next one it skips episodes!. This is not worth the cost
Decided to try crave for the first…
Decided to try crave for the first time. I’ve had it for three days and I’m canceling it. More commercials than old ‘traditional’ tv/cable and constant error messages. I use Disney, Prime, Netflix and Paramount. I’ll continue with those but never try Crave again.

Can't access out-of-country... even to CANCEL
Subscribed. 2 days later, went to the US and was unable to use the service. No problem... can't access my subscription in the US.
Tried to log in to cancel my account and got into an endless loop of "choose language" and "select a few shows to tell us how to customize the experience" .... no way to access your account even to cancel membership. Got frustrated and gave up.
Got a 2nd month of charges (after not accessing my account the entire month). Tried again ... same issue. Eventually found their phone number... they wouldn't refund even though my account had zero logins the entire month and I called 2 days after the charge. CS team offered no solution or apology. Lost a lifetime customer.
