Very helpful company who go out of their way to help you. I've been a customer with creeper host for some time now and as with anything techy, sometimes you need help. Their customer support is fairly unique in the tech world in that they don't immediately start talking to you as if they assume you're clueless. But then if something is too complicated, they don't judge you for saying so and then go out of their way to explain it in simpler terms. It's the perfect balance for a company I think, and a refreshing change from a lot of customer care branches who assume customers know less than nothing lol. Ive had some very helpful support from someone called Draylynn who put a lot of time into teaching me some behind the scenes stuff which makes my daily server running so much easier.
Prices are good, you get what you pay for and I legitimately wouldn't go anywhere else for a server. Good range of supported games too.
Creeper Host has the best customer care out of all the server services I have used. Not only that, but the panel is easy to use while still having a ton of customizability. Highly recommend.
They were super helpful.
We struggled to copy our word save over but their support team managed to figure it out in no time!
10/10 would recommend!
Had a few decent experiences years ago, but now completely unresponsive to multiple GDPR requests to erase my account. (request pending for nearly two months, past the legal period!)
EDIT: Finally received a confirmation of removal 4.5 months later. This still took way too long, but credit where credit is due: they did come through in the end.
There customer service is terrible. Just bluntly terrible. They will also threaten to terminate your account if you get even slightly heated and will straight up terminate it if you drop a normal everyday damn in your conversation.
Overpriced and and very unstable service..!!!
Modded Minecraft Server kept crashing..
Could not even download a backup of my GameWorld?!
The only good was my Refund....
Atleast they didnt keep that... As I have heard others complain about..
After a few days, server crashes due to heap errors whilst RAM never exceeds 50%. Customer support has done nothing we couldn't do ourselves to solve the issue.
It is no longer possible to play with more than one person at a time which beats the whole purpose of having a server.
For 30$ this is unacceptable, I won't be going back and advice anyone who is looking for a host to look a little further.
Originally had a very positive encounter with Creeperhost, but after a short honeymoon period with a stable server, the good feeling was gone. The server started crashing at increasingly frequent intervals due to a 'memory overload', when the RAM was never above 50%.
At almost the same moment, all of the sub-accounts lost the ability to restart the server, make any changes, etc. Over the course of a week they still weren't able to resolve this, and the crashes continued to get worse.
I had good feelings, and now I have a server of restless players with pitchforks. Go somewhere else.
very bad, my server crashed constantly and i got dropped by customer service after they couldnt help
A few friends wanted to get a MC server going to play a bit - Creeperhost charge very premium prices and talk the talk so we went with them, being UK based as well.
Our server was suffering constant crashes from the get go and would not auto-restart on crash, so if nobody was around to manually restart it then people were stuck not being able to play when they wanted. After back and forward with support they suggested this was entirely the fault of the modpack, but after checking with the modpack author and Discord (A very very popular modpack), this was not a known issue or something anyone else was complaining about and we were facing it on two separate freshly wiped servers with little to no playtime on them, of the server crashing sometimes every hour or so and even crashing when nobody was on it.
After several days of trying to fix this and minimal actually playing the server, we gave up and asked if it'd be possible to seek a refund as there was no discernible reason for the crashing since it was not reproducible on other providers/even home hosting it, and the lack of being able to auto restart meant we were left without a server for several hours a day when nobody was around to start it.
They immediately denied as they have a measly 12 hour refund policy, which depending on the time of day you buy the server is barely enough time to use it let alone find and troubleshoot any problems yourself before asking for a refund.
They also pretty much blamed us and the modpack for the issues, stuck by the 'its a modpack so not our responsibility' (Which is missing the point) and different supports contradicted what each other said on live chats vs tickets.
We switch to Bisect hosting on the same modpack, same level of server package etc for 50% of the cost, the server was up and running in minutes and we did not experience any of the same crashes or issues despite the only change being the host provider. Bisect also offer a very similar feature rich fancy management interface, and have functionality that instantly restarts a crashed server.
They also have a 3 day refund guarantee.
Tl;dr, if you are going to charge premium prices, you should offer a premium service and have half decent policies when it comes to refunds and troubleshooting. There are hosting providers that offer far better deals over CH and have the same if not more functionality offered.
Edit -
As CH have replied but I am unable to access the email I originally bought the service on or any of the associated details.
We were repeatedly denied a refund in less than 72 hours, the website even still states the original advertising of 'if you're unhappy with your package within the first 12 hours, we will refund your money.', which is the line support used to deny us despite our issues starting almost instantly but us trying in vein to resolve/diagnose it ourselves before moving to the refund option.
Maybe 4 years have passed since this review and things have changed, but it was honest and true at the time of writing.

My friends server is almost never up and when it is up it goes down after like 3 hours if even.
The absolute worst server host I've ever seen. I had no more than three people on my FTB server and the server was crashing multiple times a day. So I was told to set up scheduled restarts (I already had but apparently I had to make new ones?) and in order to set them up I have to learn how to code. I actually had to learn how to edit an ssh and whatever the heck ariesapi was, all just to set up a cron job for a scheduled task to happen at a specific time. The customer services reps even specifically said "I am unable to help you but I would recommend googling ariesapi and cron tasks".
This is the worst customer service I have ever had it seems everyone from the server was hired on fiverr and have literally no idea what minecraft even is.
EDIT***
I have since cancelled the service and asked for a refund since I only had the service for three days and every day I had crashes and stability issues. I didn't get the refund, and was told that you may ONLY get a refund within the first twelve hours of using the service. I cannot accurately express to you how bad Creeperhost is, I just hope to inform more people of their shady practices before they make the same mistake I did thinking creeperhost is a good service just because they are the sponsored server host for feed the beast. Just go with ApexHosting, I've been using them for a bit now and there's no third party software, no learning to code, and despite what everyone seems to say, their customer service is amazing and really fast to reply, I haven't even had a single crash yet!
was a bit unsure on something and i got a reply 10 minutes later on a sunday. excellent service!! would recommend
Misleading checkout process and appalling customer service with non-existent "people skills".
so, sooo very amazing. support is timely and always as helpful as possible. they’re willing to walk you through every single step if need be, which was very helpful for someone like me lol. honestly such a good experience! and the server is great too. there’s very minimal lag, if any at all. will definitely be keeping the subscription until i’m tired of minecraft.
edit: 69% 5 star reviews at the time of this post, tho. 😏
edit 2: sadly, their prices are pretty high compared to some other places. however, their customer service and response time is unmatched, so i think they deserve 5 stars still.
edit 3: the 5 stars is no longer at 69% 😔. however, at the time of this edit, there are 69 total reviews. 😏
Had little to no issues while playing on a creeper hosted server and the one issue we did have was minor and was solved by a customer service rep very quickly and kindly so we could all get back to playing asap.
The servers are a little bit price, but the extra cost is well worth it for the support! I wanted to host a server on an unsupported modpack, and a staff member quickly responded set it all up for me.
I started experiencing connectivity issues with my server and the support team was very responsive and helpful in getting it taken care of quickly. Have had nothing but amazing experiences when ever reaching out to support.
