I didn’t like the results of my relative finder. I don’t recognize anyone on the list of extended family. I thought I would find connections with closer relatives. Also, I sent messages to all of my 6... See more

Very detailed reports and interesting facts regarding ancestry and health.

This was a very slow process and the results were incorrect . As a scientist i understand genomics, however there were some gross mistakes, specially regarding my heritage.

Don't have time to waste on crossword puzzles. Not that challenging, if I did want to do it. Give me the simple facts and allow me to read/use them.

CRI Genetics is a great company to deal with in so many ways. They value your privacy, have great reports and knowing my genetic background has helped me to better understand who I really am.

I initially signed up wanting relative finder. I added a $100 package recently because they added relative finder which they didn't have when I initially signed up. I was informed that I hadn't been given a relative finder access even though they showed it on my homepage as a "hook' and hadn't signed the "consent" to allow access. I actually had allowed consent before they even had it. SOOOO, long story short. I added a second "consent" and wasted $100 for another year of finding out that my pee smells funny to me when I ear asparagus (something I already know but have no need to pay for). It's all interesting and I like my maternal haplogroup stuff but they are very tricky about what you get when they offer their "deals". CRI isn't the only DNA company that does this....they ALL do!

I loved the quick responses to my questions. Also, the explanation was very informative

To say the results were shocking would be an understatement. I loved the results but was stunned into bewilderment for weeks. Now looking for family in 1800’s who came from Japan and Peru. How could my family never heard of them?

The review a received from my DNA had me a little disappointed at first. I had been told by my great aunt Mary that we are Sicilian, not Italian. As well as my dad's cousins. And I find out through DNA analysis that I am 40% Tuscany Italian.
But, on the plus side, I find out that I am also Armenian as well as having DNA from various parts of Latin America. That was a happy surprise. And this company's broke my DNA down further to find out my DNA comes from all over.
And I was pleasantly surprised about the various people in the past that I share with the same DNA.

Seems a very professional and thorough service, and the turnaround time was fine. Masses of information provided, although quite a lot of that could be described as somewhat trivial. A bit more 'hard' medical analysis would have been welcomed. Perhaps if I pay for additional reports I'll reach a five-star experience?

I liked that as soon as I ordered the original kit that covere That is why I was disappointedd my Mtdna I was receiving emails on the progress rather than just left hanging wondering what was going on.That is why I was disappointed when I ordered the Ydna Kit as I heard nothing. I sent an email and your company responded but I still am confused as the only thing I got for the second payment for the Ydna was a haplogroup and everything stayed the same. It has me wondering why am I paying the same fee and getting only a Y haplogroup designation. That brins me to the question of are the recent and deep dive results covering both my Ydna and my Mtdna ?

Thank you very much for helping me find my family and finding out where I hail from in the family tree much appreciated for reals! 😁

When I received the DNA test kit it was not logged in by the shipping department which was an issue when I tried to register the kit for the first time. Have also paid full price for all reports which are yet incomplete after 90 days.

I love how CRI is always interesting, even when a trait or article doesn't really involve me or my interests. I am often surprised at some of the information and how they relate to me or people I know.

I've contacted customer support several times regarding my all access subscription as it doesn't show new reports and says I have to buy the credit. It takes 3 days to unlock on its own. The customer service reports that it has to do with the day that I purchased the all access. This is a deceitful practice.
My personal dashboard is not personal to me. One of the first things to click on is wanting me to find my haplo group, but I'm female, therefore irrelevant.
It also does not recognize under the membership that I have already paid for the "all access". It continues to try to sell me the "all access" and "premium all access".
The only amusing part is famous people somewhere in your family line.
This company makes me doubt the family lineage aspect of information...I have no way to check it's accuracy.

No details, easy to say anything if you dont prove with ancestors or family tree.

They were very quick on the dna report and the ancestry. Was pleased with some of the health reports and some of the other reports. Didn’t like the fact that I had to spend an additional $59 to get traits and additional reports after I already spent $129.

Learning about myself is amazing.
And I never realized that the experience was going to continue over time. I thought it would be just one report, but the information just continues to come in. It's been a very fun and educational experience for me i'd like to add that the customer service is amazing also, they're very fast to respond and very good at resolving issues

The customer service problem resolution is what earns my high marks. Many of the reports are pretty useless or obvious (like freckles or eye color). Some were interesting though.

I received my kit and followed the instructions carefully. After a few weeks, I got my results back, which were very limited and disappointing. The information provided was minimal and vague; for example, it stated that I might have blue eyes and most likely don’t have red hair. Overall, I could count the details on one hand, and what I received wasn’t very informative. When it came to the medical information, all I got was “inconclusive.” They offered me a discount for ordering a new kit, but that was the extent of the information given.
I find this company to be unreliable and misleading regarding the information they provide. Save yourself the time and money.
