Crosstown is an award-winning scratch bakery. We roll our dough by hand.
We make all of our jams, compotes, fillings, glazes and toppings in-house, fresh every day, using the finest ingredients we can find to deliver real, honest flavour.
It’s a lot of extra work, but we believe the results speak for themselves.
Quality should never be compromised no matter the quantity, although both can exist at the same time.

Stale.. not the usual standard
Normally cross town are amazing… but these were stale! Other doughnut deliveries manage to arrive still fresh. Disappointing considering the price.

As I'm sure you know, every single doughnut we sell is made fresh on the morning of sale, and are delivered directly from our bakery in Battersea, London. We never keep doughnuts longer than the day they are produced, even if the special day has passed. This is more or less the first rule any Crosstown employee is taught, so this was almost certainly not the case for this delivery! Our doughnuts tend to have a slightly different texture from most other doughnuts, due to the signature Sourdough base for which we are famous. This tends to offer a weightier, more bread like finish.

Tried to place an order on Deliveroo…
Tried to place an order on Deliveroo for the Brighton store to be delivered as a treat for someone there is no way to edit a mistake so twice I had to cancel when I then placed the correct order the store accepted it then decided to cancel it not sure why really disappointed not to be able to send a paid for treat to someone miles away.
