Your departments need to talk to each other
Firstly let me say that the customer service team are outstanding. However, I received no notification of when my order might be delivered, whether in part or in whole, and the items I ordered indicated a delivery time span of between 7 - 21 days. As it happens it took almost a month for my order to be received. This could be, in part, because I advised them that I would be away for four days around the previous weekend and therefore not to deliver.
I received an email two days prior to the delivery telling me that that my complete order was on the way. Delivery was made on the day by two separate carriers (why use two?) and the order, despite being marked as complete, was one item short. Upon talking to Customer Services I was advised that their software is unable to indicate if the order is short, so the CS team were unaware that the order was not entirely fulfilled until I rang. And final part of the rant! The second delivery was not made until 5.30 on the Friday afternoon. And Crowders do not offer cover for online orders over the weekend so I was unable to find out what had happened until the Monday. I would suggest that (a) the software system is upgraded so that it can actually reflect what is done and (b) departments actually talk to each other. The plants are lovely.

Pleased with quality of plant delivered and care taken with packing to ensure it arrived in good condition. Only reservation was with the time it took from order to delivery - which was a lot longer than advertised.

CEANOTHUS PURCHASE
Disappointed that variety ordered from website was not available, but Crowders rang to offer several alternatives. Plants arrived a week later, very well packed to prevent damage during transit. Plants are healthy and a good size.

Had a delivery of bark chippings rather than my bench - then told it was the last bench and thee box was damaged. Reassured that the bench was checked and fine - so I said it was OK to deliver it. Set for delivery on Tuesday, then finally delivered on Wednesday. No nuts and bolts, allen key or instructions with the bench!
However then got very good treatment by the lady who sorted it out - sourced new bolts, e mailed me instructions etc etc

The courier tried to deliver my plant …
The courier tried to deliver my plant but unfortunately we were out. I went on line to rearrange delivery but the only date I was offered was a week later not good when you are delivering living things.
Today my shrub was delivered and fortunately had't died after a week in a box. I mentioned the situation to the courier who told me the reason I was given a date a week later was because the sender put on the parcel "Express Saturday" and that he had been past my door several times this week but his system wouldn't let him deliver my parcel until Saturday.

Only problem was Yodol the delivery company unable to rearrange a re delivery as could not speak to a human being to arrange where parcel could be left, therefore after two phone calls had no option but to have to make a twenty minute drive to collect the parcel which was very annoying!!!
Imperfections
I ordered six things, two of which, whilst not unfit for their true purpose, were imperfect. The type of tactile imperfection that in a retail shop would make you put the items back on the shelf. This is a disappointment as these items were to be presents. I'm sure the respected Brand involved would be disappointed that these items were sold in their name without mention of imperfect condition.
