Avoid this company - truly truly awful

In my personal, painful and costly experience, Crown Property Management could not be any worse at managing properties if they tried.

If you have issues with your home, no mater how significant or concerning to you personally they may be, they will show staggering levels of disregard.

There is clearly a capability issue with this company, and they don't deal with that, but instead hide away, ignore, and will treat you like a pest.

By far and away the worst property management company I have ever has the displeasure to deal with, and I have dealt with many.

If you're looking to let a contract to a property management company, I suggest you avoid Crown.

This review is based on my experience with them, and the experience of others in our block. And it's similar to prior reviews.

Update 27/08; I note below a response from Crown saying saying to 'pay my arrears'.
1. I am not in arrears.
2. They do not know who I am.
3. They have used that comment previously to reply star rating '1' posts (as well as other unprofessional words)
4. This is an example of their failure to take ownership of anything

My experience with this company and its management has been extremely disappointing. I have a court judgment against another company previously associated with the director, and despite the legal decision, I have still faced difficulties recovering money owed to me.

My time has been wasted, promises were made but not fulfilled, and I personally would not consider this management trustworthy based on my experience. I recommend others carry out thorough checks before doing business with the

A ray of sunlight

The Property Institute have forwarded me an email from Crown Property Management which said "In accordance with TPI conclusion I hereby apologise unreservedly" which was nice, but unfortunately Crown Property Management has still done nothing to correct the situation.

Warning to Potential Customers

Based on my personal experience, I urge caution when considering this firm for estate management services. Over several years, I have encountered significant challenges, including what I believe to be a lack of transparency and accountability.
The most concerning issue: the owner declined to meet with me to discuss serious concerns. In my opinion, this is one of the most disappointing actions a business can take. Meeting clients—especially when issues persist—is a basic standard of professionalism and client care. Most reputable owners would take this step to protect their company’s reputation and demonstrate respect. Refusing to do so, in my view, suggests a lack of responsibility and disregard for customer concerns.
This raises a fair question: what reason could there be for refusing to meet a client? Transparency is a cornerstone of good business practice, and this decision left me questioning that commitment. If a simple meeting with the owner could have prevented a review like this, does that not raise concerns? To me, it suggests the owner may be unwilling to take responsibility or prioritize client concerns—or even their own reputation. Their written response acknowledges this refusal, which I personally find telling. Would you feel confident engaging with a firm where the owner avoids direct accountability and delegates serious complaints to an employee instead?
Another observation: I noticed a change in review patterns—at one point, there were numerous negative reviews, followed by a sudden influx of positive ones. I personally found this unusual and it raised questions for me about consistency. Readers should form their own judgment, but I believe this is worth noting.

Documented Evidence

Email from the owner referring to me in what I considered an unprofessional manner.
Letter from the accountant for the company they manage confirming that fines mentioned by the business were inaccurate.
Letter from an 85-year-old, disabled, widowed resident supporting her son, which received no reply.

Living at the property has become extremely difficult under this management. Other residents have informally expressed similar frustrations. Responses received did not provide a clear plan for resolution, despite years of raising the same issue.

Company Response
The firm replied:
“Really sorry but given this same complaint has continued for years then I’m afraid we can comment no further. I will again pass your historic comments onto the Estate Board of Directors and I will remind you (again) that you have continually refused to meet the complaints handler Nikkie. Therefore regrettably we can do no more here—really sorry.”
In my opinion, this response does not address the core issues raised, nor does it offer a clear plan for resolution. Most importantly, it confirms the owner’s refusal to meet—a decision that, to me, reflects poor client care and a lack of accountability.

Looks like Crown has removed or asked TP to remove 15 reviews over the last year.
but suddenly in the Month of OCTOBER lots of positive reviews appear.
Strange this are they paying for these from so called freinds and staff.

Manipulation of reviews from crown

Suprise when you review this company. They respond very quickly and ask for this to be taken down.
But also noticed same time lots of positive reviews appear.
All in the last 6 days
Have also noticed they have had TP remove many of the low rated reviews.
So doesn't paint the full picture

Professional and reliable.

Crown have been managing my property for a number of years. I have found their approach both professional and reliable, something I need when not my primary employment! The guidance and management received has allowed my portfolio to grow, ready for retirement!!
